So how is this new redux coming for you IBians? Before I can give a verdict I am going to wait for another couple weeks. Yes you heard me right two weeks!
IB has been a trend setter in TV serials. Many first has been successfully implemented and many more bashed and thrashed as well!
Gulneet have started on clean slate. It's no mean feet for them to create again a story of iconic Shivika - Obros - Sibling bonds.
And as viewers we are going to keep comparing every character with the old ones before redux.
Note: I am going to call for convenience sake Season 1 (S1) and Season 2 (S2)
For me S1 didn't work in the first few episodes and found it to be a ott drama. So going to give it time!
Every time you say kidikithod Anika, she is not going to react same way as S1 Anika. And SSO version in this S2 is going to be different as well. The connect shivika would feel might come from their pain.
IMO Gauri hasn't changed except she talks in English and has been introduced has Anika's sister from the beginning. Omru characters haven't been defined yet. The key word is yet here!
Let's hope Rudy doesn't loose his sense of humour and Om has a substantial role to play.
I am really liking this Prinku. She is mature and grounded and seems very sensible. Let's hope she reminds that way.
So when you are watching try to remember they are same people with similar characteristics who will react and behave differently to the situations because of the different past story.
It has been promoted has Shivika redux let's hope we get another beautiful Shivika journey.
Like Narbhi says we IBians are really a fandom on steroids!! So let's give it a try to this new story!!!
