I think your entire analysis makes sense.
I would have loved the epi if not for two things:
1. Arjun saying 'succha pyaar": No succha pyaar can happen if you are already committed in a relationship--where's the guilt from Pooja? She's complaining about Adi, which is ok, but what about the fact that she's betraying his trust? If she loved Yash so much, she should have told Adi about it, and if she did indeed sleep with Yash, then I have zero sympathy for her, or for Arjun and Zoya who seem to feel bad for her. Arjun also had no business handing the diary to Zoya, it should have gone to Adi.
Also, Yash was a mess whichever way you look at it: He's romancing two women at the same time, one of whom is his wife. He's borrowed money from his father in law, from the bank, and from his girlfriend--none of them small amounts, and he still has the money to buy an expensive ring. He played with the future of so many at Zosh. A prime asshole of a character.
2. Zoya calling the Poosh relationship 'Paak': Sorry but no EMA can be Paak, and anyone calling it so is not only stupid, but also delusional. Someone needs to slap Zoya out of her delusions.
I hope Adi, the no-nonsense, non-romantic fellow reads the diary, and drums some sense into Zoya.
I was fine with her reopening the case for herself, but to say her husband had a sacred extra-marital affair was too much to digest.😡
