And as for Pegasus, he was a child of Poseidon, the sea god, and his mother was the Gorgon Medusa. Poor Bucephalus, they did say he was very wild as a young stallion, but I would not wish this kind of parentage on him!😆

Zeus only turned the winged horse eventually into the Pegasus constellation.

Why yes, my dear Riya. I am very fond of the whole series - a sort of combination of Enid Blyton's school stories and Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings - and though I am not a sentimental person, I was in tears over The Prince's Tale in Book 7.

I came to Harry Potter with The Goblet of Fire, and of course I had to get the other three books and read them in the proper order. When Book 6, The Half Blood Prince, came out in early 2006, I actually went to the largest bookstore in Ottawa - I was then the Indian High Commissioner to Canada - at midnight on the day of the release, queued up, bought my copy and watched the delighted kids in Potter costumes having so much fun.

I also used to watch the first three Harry Potter movies along with the three parts of Peter Jackson's LOTR series, in November-December each year for three years in succession.
