Just had a very random question though:
So I know a lot of you live in various different countries, but for those of you who live in India and watch Bepannaah live on Colours, have you ever experienced scenes being cut (e.g. scenes that might be termed as graphic)?
I'll give you some examples from today's episode: the scene where Zoya's foot gets trapped, are the scenes showing the trap and her foot with the blood cut off? Where Adi runs to her and tries to get it out etc?
I live in the UK but I've noticed scenes being cut from time to time in Bepannaah when I watch it here on TV! I noticed it when they cut out the scene of Aditya pushing Zoya off the roof and they cut straight to the dialogues after. It might be a few seconds but it is a big thing, especially if you have no idea what's happening after (thank God for promos and online videos I'd already seen that scene or I would've been confused as hell). I didn't pay attention to it at that time.
But in today's episode, it felt like they cut out half the episode! They cut out quite a bit of that scene when Zoya gets hurt, so we didn't even see the trap, we were left wondering whether she just tripped. It was only when they briefly showed Zoya's injured and bleeding foot when they arrived in the village that we saw the extent of her injuries.
Another scene they cut was from the RajMa scene, when Rajveer points the gun at Mahi. They literally cut out the whole scene (even the dialogue!) and just cut straight to the end of that scene where he just says I'll shoot you next time (or something like that). Now, I don't particularly care for RajMa scenes necessarily, but they are an important part of the show right now, and I would like to see the whole show as it has been made by CVs, especially as it showed Rajveer doubting Mahi.
I just want to know: is this a Colours thing or is this just my TV provider possibly censoring stuff here in the UK (absolutely ridiculous! They have shows and movies that show much worst and they are one of the top TV providers here)?
If I hadn't rewatched the episode again online, I wouldn't have known that scenes were being cut. I watched it again on bepannaah.com and saw those scenes.
Is it the same for people watching it on Colours in India, or is it just my TV provider being ridiculous here. I pay for my TV (and especially as it's an international show we have to pay a bit more) so I expect to see the full thing! Not have it be censored and miss out on my favourite shows. 😡
Would gladly appreciate some responses, so I know how to sort it out.
On a more positive note, Bepannaah is probably one of the best Indian shows I have seen in a while. Definitely raised the bar and AdiYa are as lovely as ever (Harsh and Jen are so amazing - such great actors and beautiful chemistry).
