Why can't there be a desi superhero? Why do white westerners get all the superheroes? The term "Wonder Woman" is thrown about because she is one of the most well known and successful female superheroes.

Storm is not a mutant Wonderwoman. Gamora is not an alien Wonderwoman. Jessica Jones is not a PI Wonderwoman.

Basically, there are rumors of a desi superhero movie with DP in the lead. And why should there not be? I think people just have small minds and small imaginations and are just completely unaware of the fact that there is a whole diverse array of superheroes and there is nothing wrong if someone makes a desi female superhero.

It could be PR, but gosh we deserve our own superheroes too.

I think 300 cr for 2 movies so then 150 cr for one. They may have exaggerated the budget to show how big the project is.

I think the problem is lack of creativity. There's probability that they will copy from here and there without any proper character development.. BW is known for copying HW movies. Thats when it hurts when they sell it as something original never seen before.. Like Jagga Jassos.. Make something original.. I am up.. India have many mythical characters that can be developed into superhero imo

BW sucks at special effects/CGI so its better to stay away from super hero movies.
