Thank you so much for taking the time to explain it to me! 😊

Excellent parallel between Zoya and Maa Durga. 👏
Yes, I too agree that Zoya is not what she seems to be. Interestingly, Zoya too doesn't know what/who she actually is in potential.

Superb analysis Sruthi Di. Remember ur posts in BD and Beyhadh forums. As always loved ur analysis.
Zoya has always protected Adi in a way. She kind of keeps him sane. It was Adi's intention to punish Zoya to take out his anger on Yash that gives his life a purpose in the first place. N again today it is she who saves him from going to jail. Just as Adi saves her from the goons or during the suicide she too will always save him, perhaps in a less conspicuous way.

Sneha dear, this hair symbolism is only for the show. Not applicable in real life.
In general, any girl is all three. But who she is in a given moment, depends on what dimension of herself she is exhibiting.

Nice analysis. Can't say about the parallel between Durga and Zoya. But she is capable of a lot than she lets on. She is the same woman who left her parents for her love despite belonging to a different religion and despite the big difference in their financial class.
Zoya is capable of a lot if she places her trust on the right person. Who can be the right person other than Aditya for her? There is an invisible bond of empathy between them which goes stronger each day. They understand each other better than anyone else can. Aditya is Zoya's courage and Zoya is Aditya's sanity. They are not perfect, they make mistakes. Hence this is a story of rising in love not falling in it.

They are not married. Till they register and sign a marriage certificate there is no legal basis for this marriage. Hindi serials like using rituals as the only basis for a marriage because it's not fun to show the couple sit in some govt. office post the wedding rituals to actually legalize the wedding. Also, even as per the Hindu Marriage Act of 1955 if the saptapadi (or the seven pheras) are not completed it is not recognized as a completed or legal marriage. Since, they didn't complete that they aren't married.

So technically they aren't married but the show may portray them as married to add another dimension to the story! Thank you for explaining 😊.

Shruti.. got your brief about this fantastic post, haven't seen the episode yet.. but recall vividly Zoya's entry as the personification of the furious Kali.. your explanation is symbolically plausible and enriches the role of Zoya further more! you certainly predict a prompt and much needed purpose to fulfil in Aditya's household.. looking forward to seeing the episode... thanks for your wonderful insight... much love hammie

@Suzanne legally they are not married. But when coming to Hindu marriage there are 7 type of marriage of which brahma vivaha is considered to be the most ausipicious where bride is given away in marriage by her father to a groom accepted by her and follows all rituals of saptapadi. But Hinduism also accepts gandharva vivah where bride and groom just exchange garlands with nature as their witness. As per hindu shastras exchanging garlands with free will is also accepted marriage though not ideal one. So it depends on what kind of emotion adi and zoya attach to that garland exchange will define what meaning they are giving to their relation and trust and respect associated with it.
