After the teaser, my mind still keeps comparing it with Munnabhai movie.
Sanju, as a character is not as interesting and lovable as Munnabhai.
As an actor, Ranbir is not as charismatic as Sanjay Dutt.
I was surprised to learn, Ranbir is taller than Sanjay Dutt. Sanjay Dutt's strong screen presence masks many of his shortcomings (like dialogue delivery).
Ten years after Khalnayak when he was at his peak, with controversies and jail visits, not a young and fit body, he still could give us a lovable Munnabhai.
I think, many would compare Sanju with Munnabhai. At the moment (just teaser) lI feel, "Sanju" is a poor man's Munnabhai.
But that may not imply anything commercially. Many rate 3 Idiots more than PK. But PK made more money.
