no one would risk their life even for money if they were a fraudster. they would also not try to kill themselves when their best friends supposedly takes away the money...and that too not because they are bothered about the money but because they are upset about the betrayal. i wouldnt say our ratan is bothered about legacy and property though...it was more that he wants to be with his family...not be alone and in hiding all his life. he wasn't ready to suspect all his family for the deeds of one.

but one thing he has in abundance is willing to risk his life for the people he cares about and for the truth. i would have always thought that that is true sign of rajput valour which diya also displays. he did it when he was willing to take bulllet for Km and or risk his life to get proof for diya. fake ratan would never do that.

diya didnt believe our ratan blindly. she was faced with 3 ratans when ratan first came back and she could find the real one based on who displayed true valour and desire to protect the innocent.

and you are right...someone who pretends will be measured and calculated least the make a mistake and reveal the truth...our ratan is completely carefree in his reactions. he was out to declared to entire surajgarh that he is not a hero material until diya stopped him during holi. and he doesnt care about dressing up in woman's clothes to get advice to diya. he is completely self assured about himself and not bothered about what the others think of him.
