MehRya OS : Jr. Khanna is Coming Around...!!

"Mehek I'm telling you, you should definitely see a doctor for you're fainting and feeling nauseating a way too much these days. I think chota Lalla ya Ladoo are coming." Maasi said giving Mehek some lemon squeezed in water for she was again feeling like vomiting. "No Maasi. Nothing of that sort. It's just Delhi heat that makes me ill every time it comes back." Mehek blushed and chuckled simultaneously. "Huh. I'll tell Lalla only then you'll not escape." Maasi said talking away the glass after Mehek gulped down the entire Sour content. Mehek is too sweet to handle sour things. She made faces after getting the proper taste of the highly concentrated lemon water. "He'll be worried without any reason. I'll meet the doctor myself." Mehek told Maasi. Maasi smiled and kept her hand on her head probably blessing her.

"How long have you been feeling this way?" Doctor asked while noting down some tests. "Just for two or three days now." Mehek said recollecting the exact time. "Okay. I wrote some medicines and few tests. Get them done and let's hope for the best." Doctor gave her formal smile that she passes to all her patients. Mehek in turn nodded her head and went out of the cabin for the tests mentioned.

"You'll be sent the report soon Mrs. Khanna." The nurse informed Mehek and she left.

"Awara open the door." Shaurya who was alone in the house except for the servants shouted from the living hall while still working on some project.

When Shaurya heard the doorbell again he himself got up to receive whoever had come. He opened the door to see a person. "Mrs. Mehek Khanna?" The person asked. "She's at her Uncle's place. What happened?" Shaurya asked. "I'm from XYZ hospital. Here to deliver reports of Mrs. Khanna. Shaurya received them and closed the door. He opened it and his jaw dropped to floor.

"Hello Mrs. Khanna." Doctor said on phone. "Yes Doctor." Mehek said nervously. "Congratulations. You're Pregnant Mrs. Khanna. We have sent your reports at your provided address and it would be probably reaching. I'll be wanting to see you at my clinic soon for I'll have to prescribe you some medicines and dos' and don'ts." Saying so she hung up. "I'm pregnant." Mehek was in shock. She touched her belly. She sat on the bed and cried. Cried like anything. She cried so much that everyone came to her room running and grew worried seeing her. "Mehek. Beta what happened ?" This was probably the fifth time Kanta was asking her the same question. Mehek when felt okay got up and wiped her tears and smiled the brightest just like sun shines after a heavy rain. She hugged Kanta and whispered, "You're going to be grandmother again." Kanta didn't understand first but when Mehek blushed a little she nodded her as if asking, "is it?" Mehek just nodded her head in agreement and shied away. "This is the best news you told me Mehek." Kanta hugged her again. "I need to reach home soon. I'll be back soon." Mehek rushed while everyone was still confused until Kanta cleared the air.

Mehek reached home only to see the door was ajar. She peeped inside and probably the lights were gone. She called for Shaurya but gained no response. She called for Maasi but again no response. Dark still grew her fear, fear of losing everything that is closest to her heart. "Shauryaaa." She called again but in a creaky voice. Suddenly the lights were on and she sighed a huge relief.

She looked around for people but found it empty. She decided to go to her room and wait for Shaurya up there. She took careful and slow steps on staircase. She had the responsibility of other life too. She reached and opened the knob of her bedroom only to find it beautifully decorated with fairy lights and white lilies and white carnations too. She saw Shaurya standing at a distance with his hands folded near his chest and his face adoring the happiest smile. "Welcome home Sweetheart." He walked towards her and embraced her tightly. "Thank you." He whispered in her ears. "And do not shed those tears. I don't want my daughter to see her crying Momma again." He said pulling her cheeks. "Not daughter but son." Mehek scrunched her nose. "Daughter sweetheart. I know it's a daughter." Shaurya said taking her to the terrace where he had planned for a candle light dinner. "It's in my womb so I know it. Huh." Mwhek said while adjusting herself on the chair. "Ahem ahem. Now don't ask me I do I know it's a daughter." Shaurya said winking at her. She opened her mouth and closed it several times not knowing what to say. Shaurya fed her a big spoon the same Mattar Kheer she once prepared in her ISC days and that had blown Shaurya away. "Yum." She said opening her mouth to be fed again with the delicious dish. "It's a boy." She said while opening her mouth for another feed. And that fight continued...
