The Compensation...

Prologue;

"YOU..and only you are the cause of all the destruction and devastation Padmadurg is suffering So you shall also have to surrender yourself as war compensation!!!!! And that's final so stop whining and get dressed proper and fast ...

"Your fate now lies in the hands of my son, the yuvraj (crown prince ) and you dare not revolt , O princess of the fallen Padmadurg ,or your family shall face worst consequences ,those which you can't even think of in your nightmares "

"I don't care what were your aspirations , dreamy girl.Your ungrateful father and your venomous mother for whom you fought so bravely have given you away as a war compensation... and yes you are nothing but a commodity now so stop glaring and be grateful to our prince that he chose to marry you and not just make you a keep...

Said prince Arnav Singh Raizada ,the only ray of hope in the darkened life of princess no- war compensation -Khushi, who ,unlike her name, was not at all happy right now.

Arnav's best friend and cousin

Pehli nazar mein...

"That deer , she is the one, perfect!!!!, thought arnav to himself. He was here , in the Mrugsarovar forest in search of a deer whose skin he could gift to his dear mother for it was her birthday today.

His mother, empress Mayuri wasn't biologically his mother , she was just his father's first wife when he was born .When arnav s biological mother , Sunayana died due to illness when he was 5,Mayuri decided to accept him as her own son even though she already had a son ,shyam and a daughter , anjali. Arnav loved his new mother many times more than he did the original one and her wish was his command.

He followed the deer deep into the forest trying not to lose track of her, but she seemed to be too fast for him .Too fast for him!!!!Him, the best everything a person could be .This deer was certainly some magic , nonetheless, he would have nothing but the best for his mother.

Suddenly he lost sight of her .where could she have vanished he thought. That was when he heard a feminine voice which was coming from near the waterfall. the deer must have been a witch in disguise ",he thought.

But the voice seemed soft and caring unlike that of witches . suddenly the voice stopped. there was a silence for a while. Then came a sound as if the deer was drinking water. arnav thought it to be a good opportunity to kill the witch and also gain the deerskin.so he inched closer towards the waterfall and took aim. but what he saw there left him astonished.

There was no witch but only a beautiful maiden slowly drinking water from the stream. the deer was standing beside her .he couldn't see her face properly. her long hair flowed till the ground protecting her face from others eyes. Her thin hands slowly took some water in her palms and offered it to the deer who happily obliged .you must be very tired , right .good you followed the tactic which I taught you otherwise only devi maiyya knows what would have happened . "

Arnav stood there breathless . he couldn't grasp the situation properly. The deer he was chasing wasn't a witch but some friend of this mysterious girl who had taught the deer to escape hunters !!!!may she be a witch or not but he certainly was bewitched by her. but where was she now ??

She has disappeared and so has the deer. what the!!!!! .

Don't worry, Arnav singh raizada writes his destiny on his own and he shall find the girl and make himself her destiny ,he swears on that lotus symbol on the girl's right arm...

Hello hi bye bye and as you all might have guessed the girl is KHUSHI aur ek baar jo ASR ne commit karli ki who khushi ko apni destiny banaayega tab to woh apni Anjali di ki bhi nahi sunega!!!!!!!

Maine Anjali aur shyam ko bhai behen bana diya !!!!!

PS: ANJALI and shyam are arnav's step elder brother and sister .currently shyam is 25, Anjali is 22 and arnav is 21 while khushi is sweet seventeen.

BHAI AUR BAIRI(brother and enemy)

Arnav returned home on his faithful horse ,Veer whom he had told to wait outside the forest until he comes .Veer neighed sensing his master to be pleasantly disturbed .Nothing , chap , just a bit of magic and uh, witchcraft. Veer didn't understand ,nevertheless he carried on leading arnav to Aaranya.

Aman: hey, arnav how was your hunt? Got something worthwhile for the queen ? what am I even asking ,of course you must have ...after all you are her favourite...

arnav : no I didn't get anything for mother

Akash and Aman: What!!!!

Arnav : you heard me right ...

Akash : you caught jungle fever or something?

Arnav : ummm sort of ... if I put it in my words I have fallen for witchcraft

Before akash and aman could say anything a servant informed them of the birthday celebrations to have started. aman and akash were arnav s childhood friends both belonging to wealthy families of Aaranya. They were arnav 's best friends they knew him in and out. they were never jealous of his wealth, status ,excellency in both academics and war craft, intelligence and (the list of his qualities are endless so dot dot dot). In short they were the truest friends he could have, who more than friends were brothers to him.

On their way to the large special hall,

They met Shyam .

Shyam: I know you must have again brought some awesome gift for mother yet this time you can't beat me arnav.

Arnav : I don't even intend to do so brother. It is just that arnav singh raizada never learnt how to lose. And it' s not right to compare us after all we are brothers ...

Shyam : unhun step... mind you we are step brothers ...

And shyam huffed and puffed and stomped his foot (like the big bad wolf from the story of 3 little pigs ) and went away. Shyam never liked arnav since the day their father, emperor aaryaman had promised arnav the throne. why was he promised the throne if shyam was the elder one? well it so happened that when arnav was sixteen there came news that a man eating tiger from a nearby forest was causing terror to the people of Aaranya ,in fact he had already eaten up 7 men .shyam was sent by the emperor to kill the tiger.he was accompanied by arnav ,akash ,aman and a few handful of villagers .shyam , being the coward he was,fled at the sight of the tiger pretending to be ill leaving the villagers at the mercy of the tiger.it was then that arnav jumped on the tiger and killed him with his bare hands sustaining a few scratches. when the emperor came to know of this he decided that arnav would be the crown prince , his successor.

Everyone was giving the finest gifts to the empress ; from exquisitive gold threaded silk sarees from the south to the finest pearls from the east coast,

From expensive oils and perfumes from the west to priceless gems from the northern mines and not to forget the ivory jewellery that the king specially got crafted for her from the tusks of the elephant he hunted last week.

"what have you got for me ,dear,asked the empress to arnav.

"nothing but a promise mother, I promise my life to you...

Everybody cheered arnav on this.

"that s a nice puppet you ve got sister whispered he empress sister into her ears

The next day in arnav s room

Aman: so you mean to say that you saw a deer in the forest and then you saw her teacher who is a girl ,bathing and now you want her ...

Arnav :she wasn't bathing, dammit aman, she was just drinking water.

Aman: even that servant there drinks water arnav ,what s so special about her??

Akash : she must be having a face more beautiful than Cleopatra then...

Arnav: I didn't see her face also

Akash and aman : (in shock ) then why the hell do you feel attracted to her???

Arnav : her skill , her grace ... it's not everyday you come across such a talented girl ,charming at the same time...i don't know when I saw her a strange yearning filled me like ...

Akash : you don't sound like arnav singh raizada ,you sound like a lovestruck puppy

Arnav: very funny

A soldier comes in and informs them that aryamann had called them all in the discussion hall.

Shyam frowns as arnav ,akash and aman enter the hall. he envied arnav's mere presence also.

Aaryamann: there has been a revolt lately .padmadurg , the kingdom southwest to ours has stopped paying it's tribute. That ungrateful shashi (the ruler of Padma durg) is not only trying to arise as an individual ruler but also he has insulted us by not inviting us to any of his daughter's marriages.in fact he is getting his youngest daughter engaged to our enemy ,bhadraketu.

Minister: sir , it was prophesied that one of the princesses of padmadurg has the blessings of the mother goddess and that if she becomes empress of a region willingly, that region shall prosper to such an extent which cant be imagined...so a deal was signed between our king and shashi ji that all his daughters shall be married to our princes.

Aryamann: that was when I helped him to kill his brother so that he could ascend the throne. Ive been a fool I should have known that one who betrays his own brother is not a trustworthy friend for anybody. Well we have sent him a peace treaty , if he doesn't surrender ...

A messenger comes in

Messenger : long live the king !maharaj ,shashiji

Has denied the peace treaty also his queens especially the elder one named garima hurled millions of abuse for our country

Aaryamann smirked and said "boys , this was what I was waiting for , start your preparations the war is on!!!!!!!!!
