Sorry but I cannot post the direct link as I'm a newbie.This is a wonderful post and I loved it.When Dev was using the word feminist,everyone bashed him mercilessly without even trying to think or understand as to why he was portrayed like that...I was very upset by that.Dev only received bashing but this post is a beautiful analysis on that behaviour of DEv.People on this thread like JALK,Shavvi,Itlidevara,yyy are truly unbiased viewers and I would love to hear their views on that portrayal.Almost all facets of Dev have been discussed on this thread but I don't think that we have discussed about Dev using the word feminist so would love to hear from others on this topic.

BTW, Bella, I think Dev was pretty much bashed mercilessly whenever he opened his mouth.😛 After a point, it seemed like the man was committing a crime simply by existing but thankfully, there were quite a few sane ppl like the ones on this thread who could still see that both Dev and Sona were just flawed humans who both did their share of nonsense.

Jenny,so good to see u here.I had been stalking tge forum since a long time...dont know how i missed your post back tgen.Your post is very good...one may agree or disagree with what u wrote but atleast you made an attempt to analyse.That portrayal of dev was one of the moat tricky( to understand)and confusing aspect of his character but you've done a very good analysis in your post.I pretty much agree with evrythng you've written.

Yesterday I was rewatching krpkab and found something that was really funny and interesting too 😆. Just thought of sharing it here.

In the episode where maami spikes the juice with truth tablet, after Sonakshi first takes Dev to his bedroom, and when she comes out of there, she sees maami. She has a conversation with her where she asks maami what she mixed in the juice. During that conversation Sonakshi says "aap is ghar ka bhala kabhi nahi chahthi thi nahi Dev ka". She also says additional things.

During Dev's remarriage track, when Sonakshi comes to Bose home from IN after Dev tells that he is ok with marrying NIsha, Bijoy tells her that he is happy that Dev is getting remarried. Bijoy also tells that he will dance in Dev's marriage. In reply Sonakshi says things like they will invite you and that the problems that she and Dev had was because of his dislike of him. And then she says "aap ne hamare liye kabhi accha chaha hi nahi".

Both these dialogues sound so familiar. And what I found very funny was that it is Sonakshi who tells these dialogues to both maami and Bijoy. I mean maami was a selfish and greedy person who from the beginning disliked Sonakshi and never left a chance to put her down. But Bijoy was somebody who "loved" and "cared" for Sonakshi, who was ready to put "her happiness" above everything. Yet she says very similar words to both these characters 😆 😆. And for me this resemblance was very striking. 😃

Shaavi but I think what sonakshi said was truth. Bijoy was never happy with this marriage, ishwari at least for his son happiness tried to accept this relationship though she failed but bijoy never ever tried accept Dev as his SIL he's only looking for sona's happiness in everything. So I think more than ishwari bijoy deserve this from sonakshi.

Was Bijoy ever happy with anything in his life ? He had problems with everyone and everything.

Dev was 1000times better father , son , husband compared to Bijoy . Bijoy was not sensible enough to understand who is good and who is bad .Bijoy deserved a SIL like Vicky
