What to say about them? Brothers are like shield to their sisters no matter elder or younger.

Arjun did a mistake of stealing the paper. Big mistake. But no one in their wildest imagination would have thought that it could lead to Sam getting into a bet that too that would involve Naina. When Arjun came to know about the bet, he confronted Sam that he should have fought with him instead of placing a bet involving his sister. For any brother to take that his sister was manipulated and made to confess love is not a small thing. Even if no bet was involved the whole love thing would not have gone down well with Arjun.

How to expect a gal to stand for a guy in front of her family? Who wants Naina to confront Arjun? Like really? Inspite of knowing the whole bet fiasco, there was no direct talk between Naina and Arjun except Arjun asking tits and bits in anger. They do not share or probably no one shared the open talk repo with their siblings in those days. Who wants her to stand up and say that Sam was right, and her brother was wrong and to whom she should tell? She is the same gal who can't even request her dad to come to PTA where she would be given a prestigious award.

Also, a gal stands up against her family for a guy only when she is married to that guy. Whether there is a relationship between Naina and Sam or not, she will not be able to stand up and ask her Brother or Dad not to say anything to Sam. It is not about right or wrong, its about that time that era.

I have an elder brother. I had an affair in 90s, teenage love which dint go any further though I was very serious. The whole thing made me so reluctant to even develop a feeling of love that it took my now husband, who was my best friend then, 5 years to make me say yes to even start dating.

Arjun has every right to be angry on sameer for that. Every normal boy would. Arjun did not ask sameer to be his nurse , Rakesh did.. and here everyone is forgetting that Arjun is Alla teenage and is as old as sameer.. if sameer can do mistakes and deserve second chance doesn't mean Arjun cant..

What I want to see is cv addressing real problme which is parental pressure ruining child which is happening in Arjun's case.. he is under lot of pressure otherwise think who boy wants to be handicappped in his sisters wedding..

I am very happy that he is a good brother and there will be time when he will support naina even if it's sameer whom he doesn't like.. I am not really in favor of naina acting rebel and confront Arjun here. It won't go with her character and I dnt like such sudden change in characters. There needs to be gradual change in character and their relationship dynamics.. she will stand for him during their wedding I guess..

Yes I want paper stealing to come out but not for making Arjun guilty in front of sameer but to make Rakesh understand wat his son is going through. Everything is not need to be about samaina in show. Sameer will definitely understand Arjun as he has gone through it and he has his week moment where in a moment he thought of cheating but later he changed.

As of now, even if Arjun is guilty of paper stealing, he has right to be angry with sameer n protect naina. N I did see him feeling guilt after he becomes head boy. He was not ready to wear batch. So chill guys. He is also a boy and not bad person. Being protective of sister is good trait of elder brother 😆

Comparing Arjun and Sameer's wrong doings is like comparing apples and oranges.

If we look at Arjun from a normal guy's POV then yes paper stealing was wrong. But if we look at him from an elder brother's POV, he is not wrong. He is bound to be possessive about his sister. It's not like Sameer had a great image in Arjun's mind and now he came to know that Naina was fooled by him. No brother is going to tolerate that. And expressing things openly was not a 90s thing. 90s people were never very open about their feelings to their family, or were never much able to take a stand.

Arjun's paper stealing was wrong, but that doesn't make Sameer's bet right. Arjun's anger for Sameer is justified.

It's just that he is an extremely meek character who finds it sometimes a bit easy to blast on Sameer.
