In fact, I think both Vikas and Hina are playing an excellent game of ending the season with them so the last thing people remember is them on their minds. They made such a big deal about Shilpa not doing tasks and now they're both showing in this final task the lengths that they will go to to accomplish a task.

Basically, it's more a challenge for the creatives than the voters that are you going to make some lukhi cook your winner or someone who gives 100% in all tasks even when she is "sick."

Shilpa has only milked the controversy of her leaving her Bhabhiji show. This controversy itself happened before she came to the show, much like how her fan base was built before she came to BB. But within BB, other than milking the controversy and cooking in the kitchen, I don't think Shilpa did anything special that any other contestant did not do. Yeah, she does looks pretty but again that was there even before BB. She didn't even bother to dress that up that much.

No I think Shilpa will win..i know many have this outside feeling. Problem is cheating has reached the level that they have created a monster in Shilpa and if they ditch this monster then it too will look fake. So BB is doomed either way. Its a failure. I hope it moves to some other channel with a proper host.

You have not missed much on my posts as i have not written in 2 months, partially because of long travels between continents, switching time zones and disgust over show tempering and credibility.. Not much fine print there..

There is tradition I follow with a few friends (time permitting), where we watch some of the earlier episodes in the finale week over drinks and compare how things/HM have \have evolved and changed over the course of the show (Yes - some of us can be quite vela at times.. :) Jokes apart, it makes for an interesting review and discussions this year were quite intriguing because poora season hi flip hai. I may just write a quick series on it if I feel inspired enough :) ..

Shilpa was actually bashed (probably the only time) in the first couple of weeks which was interesting to watch now.. She was especially told off categorically when she was harshly rejoicing and dancing over certain exits but you still managed to catch the underlying strategy of her being a favoured HM this season is really commendable. Take a bow sir!

Whereas Hina, Vikas and Puneesh have given a lot to the tasks, politics, drama, entertainment. I think either of them deserves the BB title more than Shilpa. But we all know how partial BB and Salman are towards Shilpa.

As for the fans that Shilpa keeps talking about, I've never understood how Shilpa can have more fans than Hina because Hina's only show ran for more than 8 years whereas none of Shilpa's shows has seen that much duration or popularity.

Hence, if Shilpa wins, then it will be difficult for me to believe that it wasn't because BB made her look better than others because of it's own intent to fix her as the winner.

Anyway, the public usually ends up remembering the ones who entertained better even if they did not end up winning. To me, Hina, Vikas and Puneesh are those people and not Shilpa.

Hina performed tasks, used her brain, always fought till the end even in conversations and arguments. Vikas played well and of course entertained in his funny way. Puneesh, without any celebrity status, reached till this point because of his funny words and useful brain. If only he hadn't done that love drama with Bandagi .. it's kinda cheap to act that out just to get attention from the viewers.

right about people remember the HM who ran the show, even if they don't win it.. This year, it will be people like Hina, Vikas, Shilpa, Arshi and Akash.. IMO..

She sees through him and has this insatiable need to push his buttons to get a reaction that amuses her.. To top it all, both are fiercely competitive and there is this strange sibling rivalry where each wants to beat the other flat. . Vikas is more passionate about this than Hina, I feel.. He sees her as a formidable challenge who, unlike others, can read him like a book, while Hina HAS to crack his game and show him up since she just cannot cater to how his mind works. Vikas has admitted to her and others that only Hina can give him barabar ki takkar and he thrives on that challenge to be one up on her. Don't see this changing in this lifetime..

@ red - even though I like Vikas overall, I still believe that Shilpa was bang on with what she said regarding Vikas...and, If I'm not wrong, Shilpa had also said that "aise logon ke saath na zyada dosti achhi aur na dushmani...". I remember Shilpa's statement very well, because I was actually surprised that Shilpa could read Vikas so well... and this also indicated that Shilpa may have had a lot of people & life-experience.

@blue- Again, I totally agree. Hina is actually quite smart & intelligent . No wonder, if Vikas may perceive her as a formidable challenge...

Thanks for catching what I was trying to convey.. It was most apparent in the Friday episode..

Shilpa's comment about "aise logon ke saath na zyada dosti achhi aur na dushmani..." was very astute.. Such people can not only harm themselves but also others around them.. There are no middle grounds or reasoning with people who swing and live in the extremes... Vikas is quite extreme in his emotions - be it his Likes, dislikes, gaming, strategy or this crazy need to be one up and show others down.. Yes - it is actually he, who likes to show others on how good and brilliant he is and this constant need for validation.. As much as I admire his way of applying brains - extreme as it was at times, he did end up harming and was responsible for some of his friend's exits indirectly because he ended up 'over-playing; and got caught in his own web..
