Kyunki's Mihir (Ronit Roy) was handed a death sentenced by court in the Turpti Virani murder case quite sometime back and was supposed to be hanged within a week. But there is still no sign of him. We spoke to the scriptwriter Anil to find out what happened to his track.
"We are going with the date to date track in Kyunki. Those who are given the death penalty are never hanged quickly. Everyone knows that the procedure in Indian judiciary is lengthy. We have so many examples of cases being postponed for years. So in Mihir's case as well we are showing the reality," says the scriptwriter.
He further informed that Mihir is not going to comeback so soon. "Right now we are having a powerful track centering on Karan and Nadini which is going last long. This week the audience will come to know of the mystery behind the man who is blackmailing Nandini. There are also other important tracks like the Trupti one and one more interesting track is going to come with Ganga and Tulsi which will again be related to Nadini and Karan. Karan will change completely and will be a different person altogether."
He stresses, "We have all these major tracks so we do not need more people right now. Apart from this there are also simultaneous tracks like Joydeep-Bhoomi, Nakul-Sanchi. As of now Mihir is not needed."
In the last episode, Nandini entered the Virani family pretending to be drunk in her sangeet and created a drama. Meanwhile, Karan is worried about his relation and scared of losing Nadini again.
