Today I wanted to give Vishaka a resounding slap.

To hide her faults she blames the boy. Like really?? You hide your useless behavior behind his attitude?..

What was with the question on "what relation have you maintained all your life??"

He is a kid for one - the only relationship he should have known was 1st with his parents. In this case his mom. But NO , she dumps him in a hostel all his life and follows her husband like a goat.
She has no ounce of care for him and expects him to be seen but not heard.

When questioned and told he does not care for her brand of love, she turns it on him.

With such a role model of love from his mother, we should be thankfull Sameer even felt the beginning of love for Naina.

Yes I believe its love and not just gratitude for her filling the void in his life of a person to care for him...

That the exact question that sprang to my mind... Just what relationships is he expected to have fulfilled?

And yes, Sam is well on his way to be in love with Naina. The look on his face whenever he is gazing at her since that bhoot prank has been one of complete adoration. I strongly feel it just his guilt around the bet and his initial agenda is what is holding him back from even acknowledging it to himself.

With the parenting issues Sameer has its a wonder he didnt turn out to be a stupid brat. Sameer is a fine kid and infact very respectable. Im still unclear on the issue if Sameer's dad has died or his mother is divorced. But its shocking how his mother doesn't see the lacking aspects of Sameer's life. Specially lack of a father figure which boys at these age crave a lot. She should be the one to understand it and help her son get over this phase. But boy. She comes with such heavy expectations out of this kid without even doing something herself. Its a very sad thing really. I love how Naina is a healing aspect of Sameer's life. But still would like his mom to make space in his life again. No matter what mothers have a different place in life.

Not sure what relationship he was supposed to maintain. Maybe she might have meant relationships with step dad, step brother, herself.

I see a Vishaka redemtption track 😆sometime in the future with the way she was saying how she tried to be a good mother to him. She might have tried to balance both Sameer and her second family but it was not enough where Sameer was concerned.

The way Sameer has felt all these years is that she was never there for him even in sickness. He has mentioned she calls him twice in a year to ask about his results. He probably stopped expecting from her and reciprocating to her when he was put in hostel and he didn't get attention from her when he needed it the most as a child. She was busy building her second family.

And today when she was talking about how much she has done for him and asked him what he had done in return, it didn't even hit him or hurt him. Only when she asked if there is any relationship he has tried to fulfill honestly, he remembered Naina.

No human is incapable of love. I am sure that when Sameer went looking for love when he was a child, it was Vishaka who pushed him away.

If she feels he is incapable of loving someone, then it is her fault.

But I do not agree with her that he cannot love anyone.

He is good grandson who loves his grandfather unconditionally.
He is a good friend who can even give his life for his friend.

And more than anything, he is a good human being. We have seen the evidence of this many times.

Vishaka just put the blame on her son to hide her faults.

Talk about irony! What a question and from whose mouth!! Someone should ask her for a child who has been in hostels all his life what relationships would he know. Student teacher and friends and both of this he manages quite well. Has she been involved ever? I think she thinks her duty starts and end with paying his school fees and hostel fees and since her husband would have sponsored all that she thinks he an extremely generous man and Sameer should forever be a slave to him. And Sameer is so straightforward he can see right through Vishaka's lame excuses.

When she said he should be grateful for all the efforts she has put in for him, I almost choked. Really, what kind of a mother loves their child with expectations attached to it? Holy cow! He is so better off without such a toxic relationship. Also, I was so happy when her words triggered Naina's memories. His Mom's words ceases to haveany effect after that point and he just walked away.

I agree with what all of you have to say😊
I would just want someone to ask her one simple question... has she behaved similarly with Rohan as she is and has always behaved with Sameer?
Before Sameer I feel she needs a reality check for her as a mother😡

How can a mother even say something like this 😡

I think he's no more...coz yesterday Sameer said, "papa to ab rahe nahi, aur maa bhi bas naam ki hain"...I agree wholeheartedly- the treatment his so-called parents have meted out to him, considering that Sameer has turned out a fine lad. He has his morals, his values in place...he's just a kid, pining for love he never got from his family...n somewhere Naina filled all these voids...but yes I agree, he's gonna win back Naina- that's one thing...but yes his mother needs to acknowledge her mistakes n try and make it upto him, by loving him the way a mother should love her son- unconditionally...

I totally agree
A child's first n foremost relationship is with his parents..Sameer lost his dad..he needed his mom d most n she went after that Mr Somani.. leaving her son all alone!!
After having a disastrous relationship with his mom, how do we even expect him to make efforts for any relationship
