How do we know that the ploy was not trying to save Hiten instead? See to save Priyank they needed 4 votes, Hina's was certain. Luv no one knows as he was shown the video about Hina and Pri just before voting, though Salman tried to tone it down could have been never certain of the outcome. Shilpa everyone was expected to save Hiten, she changed, maybe again partly because of the video, but still this makes three. Akash is closer to Arshi, she could not him change his decision and he voted against Hiten.

So I don't think this was a ploy to save Priyank

If it was to save Hiten then they would have followed normal eviction proceedure and nobody would have questioned.The reason why the headlines of shocking elimination of Hiten is making rounds.

Like I said last monday. BB will keep the creep just to cash on the enemity between him and Vikas. They always manipulate votes to keep the controversial ones in the show. This is why they stopped the voting process to save Akash for no reason.
