After this WKV, I am even more confident that Hiten's eviction was solely based on channel's decision and not on votes. Hiten's eviction was planned from Friday itself when they got the CoW to make the call about Hiten's lie. And the plan was further solidified when HinPri had the conversation about Luv's one sided love.
1. Creating friction among the HMs by making them vote for eviction. According to Hiten's interview there was a tie in the votes. My question is even if there is a difference of a single vote that is still a difference. It is very unlikely that both Hiten and Priyank got the "exact same number" of votes. This is not like judges' votes where 3 voted for one and 3 voted for other. This was a question of 1000s of votes. Let's assume that there was a tie, then why weren't both of them eliminated? Last week there was no eviction and clearly they didn't care whether the HMs voted for Hiten or Priyank so they could've eliminated both but by giving the HMs the power they wanted to create friction.
2. Making Luv overconfident about his popularity. Last week voting lines were closed because Luv was not in the bottom. This week the whole nomination task was manipulatively decided so both Hiten and Luv would be in nomination. The plan was always to evict Hiten but let the HMs believe that Luv would be eliminated. By announcing Luv safe even before Shilpa, BB ensured that this will get into Luv's head and he will start believing he does not need HinPri after all.
3. Creating differences between Luv and Hina. The makers tried the LuvIna love angle but it was not working. The plan to save Luv was decided ever since HinPri discussed this angle at night. They wanted to make sure Luv would see this and the HinPriLuv group would break. They tried it last week and again this week with Robot task. As a final straw, BB showed him the video footage and Luv phans gaya. BB knew that Arshi is never going to pick Shilpa or Luv or Priyank for the backbitching videos. By declaring Luv safe in the top 2, they got a reason to show the videos to Shilpa and Luv. I ask why now? What did they do so special that they should be shown the video? This was just another tactic for BB makers to create a fight between Luv and HinPri and Luv fell for it. The dynamics of the house have now changed.
4. Creating differences between Vikas and Arshi. By making sure Hiten is eliminated, BB has made sure that Arshi will start blaming Vikas as well because Hiten was a source of footage for Arshi. By taking Hiten out of the equation, not only have the makers broken up VikHitShi but also created differences between VikShi. They did not succeed in breaking the group any other way so they resorted to this tactic. Again, my question is why wasn't Pri eliminated as well if there was a tie in votes? Why not break up HinPriLuv as well? Why just break up VikHit? Because only eliminating Hiten would give them the maximum drama needed regardless of the votes.
5. Why put Hiten on the team with PriLuvShil who Arshi would undoubtedly choose for elimination? There was no way that Arshi was going to choose VikCashPun for elimination and even Hina was her friend by then. Why give Arshi so much power to begin with? Makers had already decided who they wanted to eliminate. By having CoW the previous day to reveal the lie, BB makers made sure Arshi would definitely pick Hiten's team and not feel bad about it. Even though the impression given to the HMs was that Luv was weak, it was pre-decided that Hiten would go. That is why he was not given as much footage this week. Why was his conversation with Vikas cut off but ArshPri's convo kept after the task? Why was Hiten's genuine effort to make Shilpa cry during task edited? Why was the kaal kothri not shown when every week kaal kothri gets soo much footage? All of this was to ensure that Hiten is not seen on screen and the makers have a reason to say that Hiten was not being seen so he was eliminated.
6. Creating differences between Shilpa and Vikas (maybe Puneesh). Until now Shilpa and Vikas were at least cordial with each other but by showing Shilpa video of Vikas bitching about her, the makers ensured that Shilpa would then make sure to eliminate the one person who stood by Vikas even though Hiten has actually been nicer to Shilpa always than Priyank has. Voting for Priyank will make sure that Vikas is now against Shilpa completely. Maybe Puneesh might be upset as well since he chose Hiten over Priyank and Shilpa did not.
7. Vikas is going to be all alone now. Hiten was the force that was reigning in Vikas all this time. By eliminating Hiten they want to make sure Vikas is unleashed. First, emotionally Vikas will be broken and then he will go after people who were responsible for Hiten being out of the house. Again, the creators could only change the entire dynamics of the house by getting everyone against Vikas once again only if they had eliminated Hiten.
8. Eviction by HMs. If Hiten actually got least votes, why wasn't he eliminated normally like everyone else? And if the votes were tied, both could've been eliminated. They still have more than enough people for next 4 weeks. The only reason for this was because Hiten may not have gotten the least votes but this had to be done to change dynamics of the house and in the makers' mind, this was a small price to pay compared to how much they were paying Hiten weekly. Even if the HMs would've chosen Hiten to be safe, Hiten would've still been eliminated by saying not you but junta decides who gets eliminated. Bottom line, makers wanted him out and the friction would've already been created in the house at that point.
9. Highest TRPs last week. The BB makers had to wait to eliminate hiten until this week because last week was family week and Gauri-Hiten meet would result in huge ratings for the show. They would've eliminated him long back like other dignified people in previous seasons but kept him for Gauri. The minute they got the ratings last week (which were the highest of the season solely because of Hiten), they dropped him like hot potato by rigging the nomination process.
Many viewers were starting to complain how boring BB had gotten. Eliminating Luv or Priyank would not have changed the dynamics of the house as much. That would only change if Hiten was eliminated and BB tried to bring in as many twists as possible in eliminating him starting from leaking the news about Hiten getting least votes. The fact that Hiten was not just eliminated like any other contestant (manipulating nomination, no footage to him, showing more of PriLuv, showing videos to LuvShil, annoucing Luv safe first (even before Shilpa), and finally giving power to eliminate to HM) is proof that this was all done by BB to ensure the creation of drama in the next two weeks which would not have happened if Hiten was not eliminated. Hiten's elimination was not based on votes, it was based on total manipulation by the makers at each and every level.
