Agree with Hina. Whatever used to happen before till our prev generation can not and should not be used as an excuse to practise something unhygienic because quality of everything has degraded to an alarming state. Vegetables, fruits, grains whatever used to help build up resistance power of our bodies till 10-20 yrs back are now all ruined due to excessive use of fertilizer and pesticides. Not even going to the level of pollution that's taking a toll on our body. So health habits like this need to be changed acc. to new age/generation too. If drinking water is available already, why not use that ?

As usual this would be ignored by Salman and Hina's gonna get backlash. Salman might build up examples from his childhood to support Maa as well. Yeah because nothing's apparently changed in last 50 yrs. 😵

Yes for cooking. For one thing top of my head - it helps in reducing the amount of Lead that in general is very high in tap water. Not going to the germs argument yet because I dont have as much knowledge in that to support my statement yet, but my suggestion to everyone to not use Tap water anymore if it's doable.
