Wow! What a explanation of beauty of childhood Dear blue,

I loved the way you brought out the joy of child. How simple their life is?

We will grow up to be more insecure and we will loose that enthusiasm to the see the wonders of the world.
Something new always is a joy to them. Thank you dear blue for such a wonderful description.

Yes, I do agree that Uma always listens to kanak with that childhood wonder when she said something different.
He will mull it over and finally comes to a decision to listen or not listen but Kanak point of view always fascinates him I guess.

I agree with you that Uma been denied to be a child and many more things that we take it granted to be our right. I really like him to realize his mistakes
and have a good life with Kanak. I love the way Kanak said to Massisa that she will be shield for Uma. I love this pair where they r perfecting each other.

I like the way you pointed out how Payal been excluded in this decision process of remmarying. Even though Uma had best intentions for Payal and probably would
have done anything for her happiness, he is exluding her from the choice nonethless. But it's more his ignorance rather than arrogance I believe. If you simply sitting and following other people decisions for you,
every one will take decisions for you. But if you started speak up and give your point of view, I am sure after few attempts, you will be asked for ur opinion.

People are so much habituated to keep doing the stuff in their way that after some time they stop re analysing themselves whether it's right or wrong. In that case, it's better to speakup.
It amazes me that payal didn't even give her idea of what others suggesting. Like now on kanak's suggestion, she didn't express whether she thinks it's good or bad.

I love those simple KanUm scenes and it's fun to watch Uma's reactions.

Hey there Manasa
Thank you for reading and beautiful comment.

KanUm as a pair are fitting because their roles are reversed at the moment - keeping aside the soap logic that ML has to be a dummy and FL has all the screen scape... Kanak is standing up for everything that was stated as pati dharm by Uma. To be the shield and protector... what Uma said was pati dharm is being shared equally by Kanak, and that's the way it should be, that none of them is dependent on the other, each of the partner does their share... not waiting for a reciprocating effort... yes it's disheartening after a while in reality ... but time and communication can solve a lot of problems.

Payal is angry and annoyed at been decided for, her fault is that she never speaks up, until she speaks she won't be heard... everyone has a mind of their own, they see and perceive things as per understanding but nobody can get Inside the mind to know ones thoughts for that one needs to speak up if it's right or wrong according to them. There are a thousand little things at home, in domestic life that one can bring change to be it a decorative piece or light effect-it's not until one presents their choice, be suggestive of ideas how will the others know that a person would like this or that.
Payal is being decided for because she has been silent... it happened right in front of her but she closed the window of opportunity to give her two cents about anything.
Let's see if Payal is developed properly or she too is to be shipped off somewhere and get the house more KanUm friendly with a lot less people around 😉

""But really, Marilla, one can't stay sad very long in such an interesting world, can one?
L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables"

You are so right about Payal.

she too is to be shipped off somewhere and get the house more KanUm friendly with a lot less people around

I have def three parcels to be shipped off from Toshniwals...

These days Thoshni house became too crowded and we need to ship some imp characters off so KanUm can have their lovely moments.

"..."Oh, Marilla, looking forward to things is half the pleasure of them, exclaimed Anne. "You mayn't get the things themselves; but nothing can prevent you from having the fun of looking forward to them. Mrs. Lynde says, Blessed are they who expect nothing for they shall not be disappointed.' But I think it would be worse to expect nothing than to be disappointed...
L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

Thank u blue..

I shared some of my fav lines from Anne of green Gables..

Hope u like them.

Yes I love Jane Austen's novels, especially pride and prejudice, hence my username!😳

Yeh! I am so excited to hear that.

Just would like to share My darcy confession to Liz

"I have been a selfish being all my life, in practice, though not in principle. As a child I was taught what was right, but I was not taught to correct my temper. I was given good principles, but left to follow them in pride and conceit. Unfortunately an only son (for many years an only child), I was spoilt by my parents, who, though good themselves (my father, particularly, all that was benevolent and amiable), allowed, encouraged, almost taught me to be selfish and overbearing; to care for none beyond my own family circle; to think meanly of all the rest of the world; to wish at least to think meanly of their sense and worth compared with my own. Such I was, from eight to eight and twenty; and such I might still have been but for you, dearest, loveliest Elizabeth! What do I not owe you! You taught me a lesson, hard indeed at first, but most advantageous. By you, I was properly humbled. I came to you without a doubt of my reception. You showed me how insufficient were all my pretensions to please a woman worthy of being pleased.
Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

@manasa

Anne of green gables was the first book I read this year... the imagination it caters, the unrefined fleeting of moments, that staring into the blue sky imagining relentlessly and being sad at people who don't feel the same.
It was an interesting read, a child's perspective of the world. Thank you for mentioning it.
And even the dialogue from PnP - Darcy is always going to be a sweet heart.

It's your reference to childhood in your episode discussion which reminded me Anne with e.

What a loving way you described the Anne.

I love the way he able to identify his faults and also why he had those faults and so effortlessly he shared those with Liz.

I love to see KanUm like that and I can keep imagining.
