Hi guys!😳

Well have always been a fan of Pak dramas and have watched many since Zee Zindagi started. Somehow seemed I missed out on Sajal Ali dramas. Started watching YKS and really liked her in that. Then watched her movie 'MOM' n frankly she was way better and subtle than Sridevi. (BTW am not a Sri fan and find she tends to go OTT😆).

Since den have binge watching quite a few of Sajal's dramas and she has been pretty impressive and much better than many of the other actresses and I'm surprised that she isn't that much popular and in the limelight. More shocking is that she's so young, but has been in d industry for such a long time and have an amazing canvass of work and still she seems pretty under rated.😲

Was cheking her wiki page, but didnt come across he winning any awards.

Anyways looking forward to her new shows.

I guess most of u guys know I am a huge Sanam Saeed fan and she's of an altogether different level. But after her am impressed by Sajal and Saba Qamar too.

I agree Sajal is a good actress. but I think she's popular and gets lot of work. which means she is a star in Pak drama industry.

Don't go by awards status to measure her popularity,check her work she has worked in so many dramas and Tele films for different channels and has been noticed by Bollywood too She made her Bollywood debut this year along side Sridevi in ''Mom". The film may revolve around Sridevi more but getting a film in another country and sharing equal space on the poster with that country 's one of the biggest female superstars ever , it's not a small thing Sajal by no way is underrated Don't believe in awards to measure someone's popularity because Pakistani drama awards are no different from other rigged awards all over the world Very less deserving people win😆 so insted of judging someone through awards, measure her popularity and growth as an actor through her work 😊

I agree with you Sajjal is one of the finest actors of Pak industry, I was watching a recent interview of young chit of actress called Hania who was kinda making fun of Sajjal! ...hania herself is yet to prove herself...anyway its lot of jealousy and competition, and the people who think they are A listers we have lot in Bollywood!!! same goes there..

I root for Sajjal I hope she gets noticed more now! after all she is signed by Boney Kapoor for 3 films maybe when things go back to normal between the countries she could be paired with Arjun! big ticket film 😊

she's not tho 😆 She's recognized much more prominently now but she was never "hidden" or undiscovered.

She was always quite popular and recognizable --just look at the number of shows and telefilms she did...

but its more about improvement and hard work and quality v quantity.

Her current shows like YKS and O Rangreza show you how far she's grown as an actor. and she's honed in on how to be subtle--her entire performance in YKS was impactful but subtle...not crying in every other scene. and no loud wailing either like her previous performances.

and rather than be in every other show/channel --she works on few dramas but they are good. her quality of work is good..

and as far as awards, they aren't everything, plus when she started working, Awards weren't a big thing in pakistan like they are now. Very often the shows and actors that earn the awards aren't that deserving...

Just my opinion.

Sajjal fan? Yay! You have to watch Mohabbat bhad mein Jaye, then. Not only is that show completely different from usual Pakistani dramas, Sajjal plays a total biatch. 😆It's so different from her usual roles and she was so much younger then. I love Sajjal, they way she does emotional scenes are my favorite, her eyes express it all. But she's good at being a vamp too. Very versatile, this one.

Yeah I watched that Hania Amir interview, I think. Was it the one where she's wearing a lavender sweater? I was liking her until she made fun of Sajjal. What the hell! That turned me off of this girl.

Oh how did I miss dis name?😕 Hope it's on YouTube. I wanted to watch sannnata too, but der r just a few random epis online n not d entire drama. Same with Mera raqeeb.😭

Yup Sajal is really versatile. I really liked her character in gohar e nayab too, she was a cute baitch in dat n so spunky.😕
