Q: What is playing in your iPod these days?
A: These days I am listening to the song 'Maa' from the movie "Tare Zameen Par".

Q: Whose music among the recent films – 'Sunday'. My Name is Anthony Gonsalves', 'Halla Bol', 'Superstar' and 'Jodha-Akbar' – is better?
A: I personally like the song 'Missing Sunday' from the movie 'Sunday' very much. Apart from this, I also like the music from the film 'Jab we Met'.

Q: What are you five all time favorite songs?
A: My favorites include 'Maa' from 'Tare Zameen par', Mouza Hi Mouza' from 'Jab We Met', and 'Kahne Ko Jashne-Bahara Hai' from 'Jodha-Akbar'. In addition, I live two English songs – James Blant's 'You Are Beautiful' and Enric Iglesias' new song.

Q: Do you like the original songs or remix?
A: I like original songs.

Q: Do you feel that the present day music is better than the olden days' music, equivalent to them or worse?
A: Oh, please! The present day music is much better than the music of the past. I simply don't understand why people describe the olden days as golden days.

Friends, first listen to the music composes by Shankar-Ehsan-Loy and Preetam and then come to a decision. These people are not only composing beautiful music, but also singing equally well.

I personally don't like any songs from the olden days or the so-called golden period.

These four beautiful songs are definitely impossible for today's music directors to compose.

RD Burman was a great music composer and even though he does not exist in the world anymore, his music still exists and is very much alive.

Laximkant Pyaarelal and many other older music directors were just so talented and made great great music.

I love the music of my generation as well after all I am only 18 years of age but when I listen to the older songs, the mood is completely different.

They are so soothing to the ears and listening once sometimes is just not enough.

i luv old songs.. the lyrix n the music n the meanin over all was sooo good!!! its not tat i dont like todays music.. i do.. i listen 2 all new songs also.. but the old ones are very good 2!!! wat i dont like bout new songs is tat the music is copy of american music... not desi-lik... btw... i dont mean 2 offend anyone... 😉 ~niti~

i love old songs they are classic in todays music with the exception of two or three music directors i don't even understand what the lyrics are about or wht the singer is singing. 😕
