Chapter 44 - Marriage!

Arnav got up around 2 pm feeling very hungry... He called for lunch to be served... Took a quick shower again and was ready... He had no heart to wake Khushi up... She looked so gorgeous and satiated while sleeping...

"Khushi baby, good afternoon..." Arnav woke her up after food was ordered...

"Oh Devi Mayya, what is the time Arnav?" Khushi asked.

"It's around 2.20 pm. Go freshen up... We have some plans for today evening..." He told her casually.

"What plans?" Khushi asked him curiously...

"We have to attend an event today. So I have asked couple of my event helpers to help you out getting ready. But let's have lunch first... Go take a quick shower and by then food will be here..." He got her going...

"Arnav, you are telling me last minute... What type of event is this? What should I wear?" Khushi was not sure...

"Baby you are Asia's best designer's wife... Your lehanga is ready along with jewelry and accessories. The makeup and hair style will be taken care by assistances who will be here by 3 pm" Arnav confirmed

Khushi had quick shower and lunch and waited for the assistant...

"Madam I am Rita. I will do first you hair and then make up and help you with wearing the dress... And this is Nina. She will do henna stamps for you..." Rita introduced herself...

Arnav gave them privacy and decided to check his emails and arrangements for the evening from the other room...

It was almost 5.10 pm and Arnav walked in...

Khushi looked way more beautiful than he had ever imagined... Red, his favorite color looked so perfect on her! It was red and gold bridal lehanga... She was so shy and blushing as usual... She looked out of this world!

His designer touch and passion for her made the dress extra special... The red color suiting her skin, her shy blushing face every single time he looked at her with love brought glow and unearthly radiance on her face...

"Khushi, you look gorgeous... An angel..." He kissed on her forehead...

"I must say you too are looking so good... But aren't we over dressed for the occasion? And what is the occasion by the way?" Khushi asked curious... Even he was dressed exquisite matching her dress...

"Khushi, we are stepping out as a couple first time... So it doesn't matter what's the occasion... All eyes are going to be on us baby..." He smartly dodged the answer...

"Ok fine... I am ready... Let's go..." She held his hand and Arnav ordered Aman to get the rest of their clothes and stuff packed and sent to RM later.

"Arnav, are we going home first? I remember you calling everyone at RM plus Amma, Baoji also are coming there right?" Khushi asked him as soon their car turned towards familiar street back to Raizada Mansion...

"Yeah I guess..." He pretended to be messaging on phone and by then they reached RM... It was 6 pm already...

RM was decorated like a bride... Entire house was lit in beautiful fairy lights, red carpet was laid and she could see lots and lots of guests waiting for them to arrive... Even the media was present and capturing every moment...

"Arnav, what are we celebrating?" Khushi was extremely curious by now...

"Let's get out first... You will know..." He opened her side door of the car and gave her hand...

Soon they walked towards lawn on the red carpet while flower petals were showered on them and everyone clapped for them...

Soon she could see a marriage pandal decorated beautifully among so many tables for guests to sit which were equally exquisitely decorated...

They could see Khushi's parents, Naniji, NK, LA, Di, Sonia and even Jiju were stand there waiting for them...

"Thanks Jiju for making it in time..." Arnav hugged Shyam...

"Any time Saale Sahib... My pleasure..." Shyam returned the favor...

"Arnav what's going on?" Khushi asked seriously turning towards Arnav but was shocked to see him on his knee...

"Khushi, my sweetheart... I took forever to realize your worth in my life... I was a fool not realize before how much I love you... I made your feel so insecure in life and unwanted... But I want you to trust me with all your heart now... Any doubts and insecurity is thing of the past... Before I thought we will renew our marriage vows but when I realized that there were doubts in your mind about the status of our marriage, I want to marry you again and that too in front of the whole world... Khushi, you are the most beautiful soul I have met in my life... I am not sure I am worthy of you but I am selfish and will do whatever it takes to keep you with me for life... I really love you so much... Will you be willing to take a chance and marry me again?" Arnav proposed her for marriage again in front of everyone...

Khushi was shocked was an understatement...

"Yes Arnav, I am always yours... I love you too..." She gave him hand hugged him tight...

"Let's get married then... How did you like my surprise...?" Arnav smirked at her knowing she truly loved his surprise...

"Loved your surprise... But it would have been better if you would have praised me some more... Don't you think so?" It was her turn to smirk...

By then Guruji asked them to sit next to Havan... They both took their spots...

"Oh baby don't worry, I can do it now also... You are looking so pretty right now Khushi... But you looked the best this morning when you know... I wanted to see you and..." He whispered closely in her ears...

"Arnav... stop..". Khushi felt scandalized by his bold move to tease her in front of everyone in the marriage pandal... But knowing her Laad Governor, anything is possible...

"What, you wanted to hear me praising you so... By the way I would love to see you daily preferably all the time... He winked at her...

"Shameless Laad Governor, focus on what Guruji is saying... Hey Devi Mayya, I should not have said yes to you..." Khushi was flushed red like a beet root...

"No problem, it would have been much easier... The marriage was for your belief else we are already married... We would have straight headed for honeymoon then..." He again smirked...

"What the?" That's all she could say... It was hard to argue with this romantic and possessive Laad Governor... Almost impossible... He always wins...

By then marriage vows were completed and they were once again declared husband and wife...

It was in all a grand wedding with most elite crowd from business community to politicians to actors and stars attending the wedding... The lavish dinner was arranged after the marriage which was manage by Chef Alan and now Mrs. Salaraji as well... She decided to pitch in to help with Indian delicacies while Chef Alan managed all other cuisines...

Khushi was on cloud nine and couldn't help but giggle and enjoy her moments like a small kid... She was glowing and Arnav was a proud man to make his wife so happy...

"So when is your flight tomorrow Arnav? I am coming here and you guys are leaving..." Shyam complained...

"Jiju, we are going for just 10 days... We will back in no time..." The flight is late night tomorrow... Arnav informed him...

"Hi Shyam, so good to see you... Hi Di" Ankit tapped Shyam's shoulder from behind and came forward to hug him... He hugged Anjali Di too...

"So good to see you too..." Anjali and Shyam said it together...

"How do you know him?" Arnav was curious...

"He worked in my firm as intern when in UK doing his masters... And he is Diya's friend..." Shyam informed...

"Hi" Came a sheepish voice from behind...

Ankit was rooted to the spot seeing Diya... She looked gorgeous in pink lehanga... Seeing her after so many days made his heart go crazy... He just wanted to hug her and kiss her senseless but then his anger and frustration came back...

"Hi" He barely replied...

"We need to talk..." Diya's condition was same... Seeing Ankit after so many days made her heart flutter... He looked the same handsome but the pain in his eyes was visible...

Before Ankit could say anything, Diya pulled him with her taking him away...

"Bro, we will be back in few minutes for the marriage ceremony..." She informed Shyam and left pulling Ankit with her...

"Mission 2 Accomplished..." Shyam winked at Anjali and whispered...

Arnav was keen to know what's going on but this is not the time... It was very late in the night when the marriage and after events were over...

"Di, what is this?" Khushi was surprised even their bedroom was decorated like their first night...

"Khushi, ask your husband... It was his order... Enjoy and all the best..." Anjali winked at Khushi...

Soon her Laad Governor came in while she was still sitting under her veil...

"Khushi, you look so beautiful... It's as if red color is made for you..." He complimented her while putting her veil down... She just smiled shy...

"I really loved the remarriage surprise... Thank you so much... Khushi hugged him...

"Now this is your gift..." He gave her some documents...

"First one is our official marriage certificate when we married before... The other two documents are the land documents which I purchased for your new restaurants... I wasn't sure which one to buy since both locations are perfect so I ended up buying both... And by the way, it was Mr. and Mrs. Shetty who were getting divorced so I had asked Aman to make separate documents for the property and get them signed by both of them... It had nothing to do with our marriage..." Arnav clarified all her doubts...

"Arnav, I am so sorry... I was too scared to lose you and negative thoughts took over my mind... You are my first love, you are my life and I could not think of living without you..." Khushi genuinely apologized...

"You don't have to, we are here together Khushi and will always be... I promise..." Arnav promised her...

"Yes, always..." Khushi promised back...

"Where are we going tomorrow?" Khushi asked curious...

"To our honeymoon baby... which is long due... We are going to Majorca, Spain, the beaches there are so extra ordinary... And we could go to couple of spaces around in Europe as per your wishes... You tell me..." He told her...

"Wow, I would love to go to London and Paris..." She was totally excited...

"Great then, London and Paris it is. I will make arrangements and booking tomorrow..." Arnav confirmed...

"Arnav but my passport..." Khushi never applied for passport in her life...

"I don't know about you... but my wife's passport is ready with Europe and UK visas stamped already..." Arnav made her sit in his lap...

"Love you Arnav, you did really plan well... I must say, I am blown away..." Khushi pecked him on his cheek...

"By the way that reminds me yesterday you announced wanting to go on vacation with everyone but me... Why was that?" Arnav asked her and Khushi's expressions was like deer caught in the headlights...

"Nothing it was just..." Khushi said sheepishly...

"Spit it out baby... I am all ears... I need to what all goes into my wife's brain..." Arnav winked at her...

"Laad Governor, you never took me out ever before... Not even for a movie or an ice cream... Forget about honeymoon or any other vacations, you did not even take me to any simple event with you... You always went alone and enjoyed... So why should I take you on vacation with me? You are the biggest stingy billionaire, Mr. Raizada..." She asked him straight...

Arnav was shocked... There she goes again... Though he was happy and excited that his wild and angry kitten is back...

"Oh I see... And you think you can get away after such an answer..." He started tickling her and he knew her weak spots from last night and he took full advantage of it...

"Stop it Arnav... I beg you..." She was giggling like crazy...

"Ok I stop... From now on, point noted... I will take you to so many places in Europe, you will be exhausted I promise..." He promised her genuinely knowing her cute complaint was legitimate...

"And we will do lot more adventurous things together Khushi... It will be loads of fun... He slowly started removing her heavy jewelry...

"I am so looking forward to it Arnav... It would be nice to spend time together and understand each other well..." She let him open her hair and touch them...

"Yeah, I must understand my wife ell else no one knows when I will be deprived of food, my favorite coffee and now vacations as well... Poor me... It can be pretty scary when my wife gets angry..." He teased her...

"Yeah she is wild... You better keep her happy..." She teased back...

"I am trying my best to keep her happy and loved... Don't you think?" With that he slowly started kissing her and moved on to spend another passionate night...

"Arnav, I love you so much..." She whispered tired...

"I love you more..." was his usual reply...

"I love our small world... You and me and may be couple of beautiful babies someday..." She said huskily...

"Babies can wait Khushi... You are so young... And I can't get enough of you... Right now I love our small world just you and me... Yes, we will have babies... But not now... I need you all for myself..." He smooched her again...

"Shameless Laad Governor" Khushi slapped him on his shoulder...

"It's all because of you..." He replied and drove themselves to another round of passionate love...
