Looks like I have ruffled a few feathers with this update, and i am really happy that it has received so much appreciation, tho i thought i might be criticised for showing him in a darkish avatar 😆
So thanks a lot guys for appreciating the update and for accepting my bold move.
Now i am writing this independent post, because after reading all your comments, I have realised that most have you have made a common point which is that Advay is an egoistic moron, and what he did was wrong, terrible.
So i am here to defend my Advay 😆, because I LOVE HIM !!!
Well firstly speaking of Character consistency, Advay was meant to be a dark character in the show, and then was mellowed down and then eventually murdered.
So since this story revolves post move to Mumbai, my Advay too is mellow, he is definitely not dark but his is slightly bordering in the greyish zone.
Ego I think is the life blood of ASR's so Advay being egoistic is a part of his integral nature.
WRT this update,
In the past Advay had been healing thanks to Chandini. He was slowly willing to let go of the past and willing to forgive her for everything she had said and done. Because the MU regarding the lie she spoke still exists, so long that MU is not cleared Advay has not got rid of his demons. He has covered them up and his love for Chandini has blinded his need for Revenge. But the pain is still raw within him.
So when Leela scrapes upon the wound, it is all hell loose.
So in the first part of the update, he is saying I had a long day at work. then he tries to get away from his aunt as he doesn't want to have that discussion as he is in no mood for it, He had a bad day at work and wanted to relax. But once the memories of his mothers death are brought back, he collapses.
The fire that was smouldering is now raging yet again, adn who get the worst of it ... Chandini of course for obvious reasons.
Firstly when we are angry, any one of us, we normally lose our cool and we shout and yell at those who are the closest to us. When i was a child my mother got the worst of my temper 😆, i used to take it on her for no reason sometimes and then fell guilty later.
So I think Advay has done the same with Chandini .
Secondly, a lot of you said he should have talked to her. But she was not in a state to talk to him, and he was not in a state to sit and have a discussion.
So talking it through is out of question. They should have jsut given each other some space to let themselves calm down and then should have talked it through.
But Advay is a hot blooded man, and Chandini is an impulsive girl, hence why they are made for each other. Instead of sitting down and calming themselves, and then trying to talk it through, they have both made a mess of the situation like always.
Now speaking of Chandini, when the second half starts, Chandini tells him she wants to get rid of his touch. Now there itself she has annoyed him beyond reason. 😆
So he starts his dance of seduction to prove that she needs him. I mean she is sexually challenging a sexual beast. Mad girl!!!.
But he starts off by being tender and loving, just to seduce her.
But then she crosses the line and uses the Rape word !!!!
See when i wrote this part, i have said this before my characters tell me or its like the scene plays in my head and i am a scribe writing it down.
So i didnt think or plan on making chandini use the RApe word, She said it and i wrote it HAHA
so i think she was unfair in saying that word. Would Advay ever do that to her, he wasn't even forcing himself, he was jsut seducing her and he has the right to as he is her husband and he trying to make up to her in the way he knows best. But she crossed the line for sure and she too knew it and thought he might hurt her, which he did ... but in his own way 😆.
Had Chandini told him, that listen i need time, please leave me alone, he would have stepped back. But she reacted badly and then she crossed the line. In every fight we have be clean , if you hit someone under the belt then its time to prepare for the worst. She made the fight dirty, hence why i couldn't sympathise with her, when i went back and read the part.
So what he did next, was ASR at his best or at his worst lets say. He made her confess she wants him to touch her, nothing wrong in that.
So what was grey abt this update in my opinion.
I dont think its wrong to make your partner beg HAHAA !!! yes i am a sadist.
But i think most of us women make our men beg anyways. I mean if you other half was to say darling can we get it on, no woman on planet earth is going to say, YES let go !!!NAAAHH that aint happening.
Its always, dont be silly, not tonight, i have a headache... stop being shameless 😆 and the list continues, till he falls at your feet and implores you to say yes, and then you are like OK MAYBE 🤣
But somehow if a man was to make you beg, it may feel out of order, as we are not used to doing it and feel like out self respect is at stake. But in all these years, i have learnt that women in general are wrong, there is nothing wrong in asking for it, demanding for it.
But WRT this update what was wrong, Was the way in which he did it.
The coldness in his voice, the evil grin he wears, trying to prove his point, his chuckles every time she moves closer, chuckles of victory, like as though he is at war. Now that was DARK, there was a pshycologial element to it that was dark, and hence why he has given everyone of us shudders, HAHA 😆
IS he going to repent, Well you will have to wait. But Advay is going to be Advay... a classic ASR, if i mellow him anymore then that would be destroying his character. Chandini too has to realise she is in the wrong. This is a learning curve for both of them, a learning curve of what is unconditional love.
and finally one last point, WRT Advay and his grilfriends etc,
I think since Advay has lived for most of his adult life in London, there is also a cultural difference playing in between them. Its difficult for Chadnini to deal with his colourful past, but Advay doesn't give a toss as he has a western upbringing.
So his approach to relationships and sex is totally different to her approach, So I think in a subtle way, it is also accepting each others ways, and it is also a case of Chandini exploring her own sexuality, which she can only with a broad minded man like Advay, who gave his wife the right to take charge of the act, on their first night together.
So yes i guess i have said enough abt my ADVAY HAHA!!! and i hope i stay true to his character and to the story in the future .
NOW I am also writing a Dark FF, an EXTREMELY DARK ONE !!!! no not dark in terms of Kinky, yes he is kinky, but dark in terms of pshycological dark ... disturbing.
But I am in love with that ADVAY as he is true to the kind of a character they gave us in the initial weeks of the show.
Now i am writing the entire story at one go, as i dont want to get influence by feedbacks, as the subject is DARK ... not grey... DARK !!! So the FF is not up and running, I will be posting it in one go as a Novel, HAHA once it is ready, i have written 60%already , but once it is done i will post it and will be PMing it as always to all of you wonderful people.
