Bolly people are just people with more means and opportunity...

Bollywood is not a place excluded from the rest of the world. There are both good & bad people everywhere. BW's scandals are publicized more. That's the difference.

I don't think we can or should give certificates of decency to Bollywood stars.

There is a quote - Fidelity usually is the lack of opportunity. 😆

We regular folk seem to be "decent" only because our lives are also very regular - school, college, then boring (usually) 9 to 5 jobs, annoying bosses, taking care of old parents and children, some vacations here and there. Living your life within a budget. There isn't much else.

On the other hand, every Bollywood star has a roller coaster ride kind of life. Tons and tons of money, name, fame, proximity to beautiful, glamorous, artistic, bold people, getting to travel all over the world with them, temptation, they have so much confidence and are in charge of their lives.

If we had such opportunities, most of us would end up doing much the same things they are doing.

Power corrupts, especially more so in a class conscious society. It is no surprise most of them have a questionable moral compass.
