Rajeev Masand:Nana Patekar was terrific.

As for Besharam's opening why do some ppl so besharmi se keep skipping the fact that it released on National Holiday😆btw technically Varun holds the higest opening record amongst young gen star since his parallel lead wali Dilwale had a 21Cr opening.
Besides for me High on Red bull or Caffeine wala Varun over high on marijuana wala RK anyday in every way😆

Oh BTW I remember you writing in the ADHM review thread last year how RK was the best thing of ADHM and how annoying was Anushka in the film. Shall I dig up your comment from that thread? Now changing tunes just to bash Ranbir? lmao...

And LOL @ DP overshadoing Ranbir. The one who was called to be the weakest link in BM despite having the author backed role will overshadow Ranbir in acting. In fact its DP who has been overshadowed in 90% of her films. Just cos few popular critics connected to her acting more than RK's it doesn't turn into a fact. In fact I can there were many critics who've had criticised DP's acting in Tamasha for her hamming, mumbling, not essaying her part wit conviction... She sucked from the beginning of the film. Her voice and the way she enacted in that Don/Mona scene that was cringeworthy af. I must've watched a different film or the people on Twitter who still even today rave about Ranbir's flawless act in Tamasha (Go through the # of Tamasha on Twitter & read the reviews of neutral audience) I simply can't believe it when this forum asserts that RK got outshined in Tamasha! In which scene she outdid? Before the Agar Tum Saath Ho sequence or when Ved goes to confront Tara for the first time in her apartment after their breakup.

BTW. jin critics ke madad le rahi ho the same critics have had raved about his performance in BV too. RK gets terrific reviews for even washout films and on a constant basis, even in ADHM as well.

And it has become a norm of the people who dislike him by calling his entire career of a manchild just to degrade him. So, according to you (and others too) Saawariya, BAH, APKGK, Rocket Singh, Raajneeti, AA, Barfi, YJHD, BV, JJ all are manchid roles? Wow!

I always say flops and hits are part of one actor 's career or for every other career option..No one knows what goona happen next.

I don't know about future but till date I have noticed this,certain members or fandoms are ready with topics whenever a VD film releases and calls him all sort of names..I didn't see his fans did something or said something that made these people behave that way..

Every fandom has rights to defend their favs but is it right to do so by mocking other one just to show your idol is a better one? Then go all like it's an opinion deal with it while they are questioning other people likes and opinion?

We fans,no matter what fandom we belongs to at least has the right to enjoy our favourites success and work peacefully..you don't expect people to clam down after causing unnecessary trouble by saying or doing something like this😕

I'm a fan of SRK ,as a fan it makes me happy if his films work but I trash his performance if he is bad..I am no fan of Amir,he has both acting chops and BO,still I just dont connect but I acknowledge his work and appreciate..To be a fan,one need not to be blind..

The same applies for VD as well..if he fails and there are solid reason to criticise,I will do that as well.

As for that space,do I really need to look forward to it? When things are good ,his fans still fighting battles,People have so much to say.I can't even imagine what would happen if (God forbid) such phase comes in his career..Woh sodho,ek flop de diya tab bhi ek hi baat hai.

Definitely!!! He has done that far ago. Infact, it's an insult of the Future Superstar to be compared with a Flop Star like RK. And it's a bigger insult for Future Superstar, that he has not surpassed the highest grosser of the Flop Star. Hopefully, he will do that with Judwaa 2. 😆

Yes.

In fact all the actors of his generation. First superstar of this generation of actors BO wise and I am more of a critic than an fan of Varun. But give credit where it is due.

Box office wise Yes. Acting wise big No! I could not connect to any of Varun's performances IMO he hams in every role. Ranbir on the other hand is one of the finest actors of BW and still ahead of his contemporaries in terms of talent..he just needs to choose right scripts.
