Hammie's Impression's ep 63 ~27.9.17. All show and no go!
Many things in life leave a huge visual impact but may lack substance in reality. The Mirchandani's are ostentatious , pompous on the outside, but inside they lack basic codes of human morality. Wealth and power renders them fearless into daring them to carry out an explosion in the house of god. They set aside the reverence of the temple and keep only their selfish task of removal of the obstacle Chandni out of Sasha and Advay contrived liaison.
But then the deities in the heavens run and control the cosmic show. The damsel in distress is salvaged from the horror show by Advay her knight in shining armour! Jimmy and Sasha's laugh! with their plot ends up as no show! and makes the gods laugh! They can plan, but the gods dispose off all their conspiracies against whom the gods shower graces upon. To me the episode is about a show of how the heavens continue to protect Chandni , in her quest to overpower guile and lies and expose the truth. The arrival of Meera ,is evidence enough, that the Lord sent her to save Chandni from plotted death. Chandni ends up hyping up every one's concern regards her welfare from people who matter, Nani,Pooja and above all Advay! The bomb plan thus blows up in Jimmy and Sasha's faces!
To carry on the show.. the conspirators face is not seen by Meera.. makes me wonder, why she failed to reveal it was a man's voice. But the high side is that Advay increases security and gives much thought to the fact that someone is after Chandni's life. The identity of the killer baffles him. Good old Nani needs no rocket science to crack who it could be?one who wishes to split Chandni from him! Guilt prompts Sasha to show herself in bad light by blurting does Advay suspect her?.. much to Chandni's dismay her Dev negates Sasha's involvement! On the other hand Chandni has much to praise.. as her friend Meera reminds her, that she the god protects those who are good at heart! This comfort lasts, for Chandni to bounce back from such a horrific near miss with death!
Whereas Chandni delights in god's grace and protection. Sasha boasts before Maasi she had a hand in filling up the coconut with gunpowder. It 's interesting to note that she skips revealing that her wicked father too masterminded the plot. Sasha is a fighting mode, undeterred .Every appointment with death that Chandni misses, provokes Sasha to show the obstacle Chandni who is the boss of the show.. who controls ,whether Chandni lives or not? So another party, another show to Sasha's advantage.. only this time Sasha's friend will show up to harm Chandni.. and this time Sasha tells Maasi not even Advay can protect Chandni or her friend Meera! as Sasha's friend will put Chandni to rest..
Steal the spot light..make headlines about her love.. all show and no go! Sasha sails in. Her arm locked in Advay's.Chandni is much amused to hear her claims on knowing Advay's preferences. Chandni calmly retorts, Sasha is into showing off her love as opposed to loving someone! Sasha is into PDA.. exhibiting one's affection. Chandni corrects her. Dev is a simple man with simple tastes , for him even a stone becomes an expression of love between two people. Sasha's density excludes her from the connections Chandni tries to make with Dev! she sounds off to her Dev.. that she loves him, he too knows it , thus there is no need for her, to show off her love! But though the man eater Sasha gets the last word in by telling Chandni , this here is her Advay and, let her take care of him, she needn't bother! But what's heartbreaking for Chandni is when her sincerity of loving Dev is blanked off by him.. as he is whisked off by Sasha..like her mascot! This is her husband Dev... how long will Chandni wait?
The gods make provisions for morose souls to be picked up! Chandni confesses before Nani.. how hard it s to fight those that one loves.. she ventured to change Advay into her Dev ! but now she wonders if she is posing to be an obstacle between Advay and Sasha?? Nani encourages her,he wouldn't have married her if there was something between him and Sasha! Nani consoles her, hate or love? or whatever else plagues his mind , all are for her and none other! so be of firm faith, she will get Dev eventually.. Nani advises her. The scene is laced with a degree of realism , Chandni despite her love for Dev , naturally feels rejected as time and again ,she tries to bridge the gap between them .. but Dev appears quite indifferent towards her..but her redeeming grace is enough for her, to put in concerted efforts in turning his deep rooted hatred into love.
The show must go on! despite niggling problems like tolerating Chandni! Sasha is the sort of woman who imposes her bold ,bright, in one's face! sense of fashion upon Advay ,who is more of a sober conventional dresser!. It's a light comic scene where poor advay's face says it all! when he views the Technicolor collection of jackets sasha selects for him! Adi being a child gets away with blue murder with his CM around! winds Sasha up! Pokes fun of Sasha's Parisian men's vogue! Chandni too shows up! Peeping and one look from him.. to her, save me chandu! She begins her coded gibberish and Dev gets her message... you'll look like a walking clown if you dress up in this motley clownish get up she has chosen for you! Rubbish choice Sasha has.. the only good thing she has chosen so far is one that belongs to another! you Dev! Dev understands all of his Chandu's cryptic gibberish.
Helping out..one's husband from being smudged with Sasha's forced coat of arms! Playfully ice cream splodges on Advay's jacket the one both him and Sasha had agreed on him wearing! Sasha comes and mouths off at Adi but Chandni saves him and takes on the blame for soiling Advay's jacket.. a typical affectionate Dev Chandni scene ripples in.. he tries to say thanks for saving his skin from getting into the ridiculous jacket. Chadni flirts with him..but sadly finishes off by adding on like a true wife... she is here by him, to save him from the consequences of his wrong decisions... can Dev inside Advay, latch on to the cryptic message she relays to him??
Chandni's faith in her love for Dev.. goads her on and Advay finds a suit of her choice in his room.. she knows him so well, but never makes loud claims that's Chandni for him.. shows good intentions ,means well..nani comes and fans his melting sentiments towards Chandni.. but he still finds it a chore to push down the wall he has built between them. Nani suggests he think through his heart.. close his eyes..the first image that shows up .. will show him the right path to his right destination.. Advay closes his eyes.. Nani wants to know who he saw???
Show stopper... an entry that stands out.. whereas Chandni's friend Meera shows up to save Chandni from death. Svetlana, Sasha's pal, glides in like a black adder to put Chandni to sleep eternally with her poison tip hair pin. Murli falls head over heels in love with Svetlana's electric eel presence. Both friends hug each other like couple of good looking witches with evil on their minds!! Sasha reminds the audiences Svetlana has the Oberois dancing to her tunes! here she has only one target namely Chandni ! hamlet53 28 .9.17
Looks like we are in for a dance number tomorrow along with another conspiracy to kill Chandni. Today's episode was fairly balanced with portions of Dev/Chandni scenes.. Adi's funny bits; Barun's fab controlled funny scenes.. Shivani's brilliant portrayal of a disheartened Chandni.. and of course Svetlana's entry.. along with Murli's lecherous passes at her..
