Khushi has come a long way and truly deserves success because of her hard work.

Wow!! Kushi has done a great job... she didn't let the MU effect her work, did a great job in cooking and even handled the media smartly..

Chapter 37 - A Letter!

The Master Chef shows TRP went up sky rocketing... The show became very successful and overnight sensation. Sudden visit by the Billionaire and hottest hunk Arnav Singh Raizada in the final round only added to the accomplishments of the show... The viewers thought it was a master stroke by producers to involve ASR in the show knowing how popular he is and plus he is well established Food Advisor in a 7 star Oberoi making him the elite... And not all have forgotten the initial fiasco when Khushi said she is married to ASR...

And the producers did not leave any opportunity to make sure ASR joins them next day as well... The producers had decided to pull off last minute changes to make the Finale event even bigger. They managed to get the bank of river behind Taj Mahal, Agra to host the Battle with the Master Chef Mrs. Dalal and the award ceremony in front of Taj Mahal...

Due to these last minute changes, they moved the last battle to Saturday Night... All the contestants were made aware of it before the show and their travel arrangements were made...

Khushi was super exhausted and wanted to run into his arms... But she just couldn't...

Arnav reached the suite at Oberoi which he had booked for them... It was beautifully decorated and the cake, snacks and her gifts everything was ready... The gazebo had very romantic mood lights and it was overlooking Delhi from top floor...

How he wished Khushi could have come with him? Oh he was already missing her so much...

He couldn't help but call her... But Khushi's mom picked up the phone and told him she has already slept off...

He knew she has been working hard for the show and was exhausted but he was hurt when she chose to go to her parents instead of running into his arms... How much he wished she was with him here and he would take care of her, see her basking in glory and enjoy her success with her telling him details with her animated expressions...

Suddenly Arnav felt really restless as if he was losing her... He was not at all convinced with her going away from him but he couldn't do much to change her mood...

Why did she look so aloof and different person all together? What is bothering her? She looked nervous, awkward and avoided him totally... Was she still upset about his screaming in the morning?

He realized the show producers informed him about the changes and last battle to be held in Agra but Khushi never mentioned it or invited him... Why she didn't talk about it, he couldn't help thinking about her...

He then remembered their journey together...

He was angry at her once for not saying no to marriage proposal by Nani, but couldn't for long... He soon saw how beautiful she was inside out and he fell head over heels in love with her... He recalled how he was mesmerized by her when he saw her first time two years ago when she had saved Nani in temple from falling and called him... First time he saw a girl so flawless without any makeup and naturally so attractive... He is practically spends most of his in the most beautiful women but she topped them all...

Then again in that red sari, when Nani called her family home with a marriage proposal... He was blown away by her looks... Somewhere he was hurt, she bluntly rejected him... Like who rejects the great Arnav Singh Raizada? Really like who? But she had her own reasons and she was never attracted to him because of his money nor status...

Then slowly after their first clash, they both decided to give their marriage a chance and they are coming so close day by day...

And now it's hard for him to spend few minutes without her... He is absolutely obsessed with her and so possessive, it scares him at times...

"What did you do to me Khushi? And how dare you leave me alone when all I planned was to express my feelings for you? Pour my heart to you..." Arnav never felt so much frustrated before...

Khushi was restless too... She pretended to be sleeping when he called and let her mother answer... She never understood the extent of her feelings for him, until today. She always dreamt and thought his kisses promised her bonding of a lifetime and beyond, but it wasn't true after all...

He does not own me, to play with my life and turn the most beautiful event of my life, which is marriage into a joke!

What if he would have decided against giving this marriage a chance and threw contract papers on her face? Where would she have gone then? The thought itself hurt her so much...

This too will pass had not she overcame more grievous things in life, before? She decided, she is not going to let go this matter easily...

Patience really never came naturally to Arnav... He was so used to demand and achieve whatever he desires in his life by hook or crook! After all he worked hard and created an empire for himself and a name to recon with!

But with Khushi, everything was different... He was deeply, crazily and madly in love with her and wanted to show her all the patience... Yet he was desperate now to profess his love to his dear wife, his Khushi... But only if she comes back from her parent's house or takes his calls for him to pursue her to come back to him as soon as possible...

And her post wrap up events, further friendly battle with Mrs. Dalal and parties were becoming a major hindrance...

He was started to getting worried if his plan totally flops... Already half of it has flopped owing to his wife's choice to go to her parents after the show...

"No, I won't let her do that anymore... If she doesn't come back by lunch, I will go get her... And she has to come back to me... Then we can go together to Agra..." Arnav was determined and went down for jogging... He could sleep only in the wee hours of morning and decided to go jogging as soon as he got up. Jogging always helped him relax and calm his mind...

He came back home from jogging and tried to call Khushi...

"Arnav Beta, Khushi is still sleeping... I will ask her to call you as soon as she wakes up..." Garima picked up the phone and replied to Arnav...

"No problem auntie, ask her to call for sure..." Arnav was really disappointed now...

"What's with her? I must find out..." He took a quick shower, got ready and requested breakfast in his room so he could focus and implement his surprise...

"Sir, Bhabhi gave you this envelope..." Khushi's driver Mohan came to his room.

"Keep it on the table and I will check it" Arnav who was on phone pointed it to Mohan without hearing him properly...

He continued his work... Tried calling Khushi couple of times but no response... He really hated it and felt very uneasy...

"Arnav, have your breakfast first... She must be busy. She will call you..." Anjali pushed him to eat...

"Is she ignoring me? Is she angry with me? What just happened?" Arnav was clueless. But his restlessness was not going for some reason today and it was getting annoying...

He was angry at Khushi and came back to his room... His eyes fell on envelope on his table... Suddenly he remembered Mohan saying it was envelope from Khushi!

He immediately sat on the bed and opened it... It was a letter and he was totally surprised... Why would Khushi write him a letter all of a sudden...? He opened it quickly and started reading without any further delay!

Arnav,

"First of all, the biggest thanks to you for all the help you did to help achieve my dream as a Chef! I can't imagine reaching in final of Master Chef and winning over all other Chefs without your help... It would have never been possible until you stepped in.

You taught me how to dream big, work towards it and achieve it as well. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. I owe you all my success.

I always thought we are together trying hard to give our marriage a second chance! I know we have had our tiffs and we have tried to resolve those as well... But I have no clue when things went so wrong so suddenly?

To tell you the truth, I was under impression we both are doing just fine until I saw the Contract Marriage papers in the drawer of your table in the office and heard you talking about divorce...

Then you wanted me to sign some papers, I realized it may be the divorce papers now...

I will sign them if that is what you want. Your happiness means world to me, only thing is I may not be able to do it in front of you. So I would request you to send the papers by Courier and I will send them back after signing...

It hurt me immensely that you made mockery of our marriage by making it a contract... Why didn't you talk to me about it? What a fool I was to think you agreed to marry...?

So deeply caught in the web of your lies, giving our marriage a second chance is my most favorite... I almost fell for it...

You know, twice I dared dream my happily ever after in life, but unfortunately Devi Mayya forgot to write it in my destiny I guess... First time when I was moving from Lucknow to Delhi with my parents and was so happy about our new house in Delhi but then our car met an accident and my parents died... I was lucky back then, Garima Ma and Babuji adopted me... And this time, I dreamt you and I belonged together...

Marriage has always been a sacred bond for me, not for one life but for seven lives... But seeing the contract papers, I didn't even know our marriage ended long back... And I was still living with you, what kind of a woman does it make me? I will never be able to face my parents once I tell them the truth... My only saving grace in front of my Devi Mayya is that I always considered you my husband till the last minute I stayed with you...

Don't worry, this phase will also pass and our lives will move on... I don't hold any grudges against you, we just were never meant to be I guess...

If you thought of this divorce because of any third person, then let me assure you no one else has ever mattered to me, no one else will ever matter to me... I may not have any proof to prove myself like you did in the past... Few times, I might have done stupid things in my anger but never even in my dreams that I can do something wrong to jeopardize my marriage or relationship with you! I come from a simple family background where we are taught to adjust and care husband and his family... And I just tried to follow my mom's advice...

I wish you could have asked me before taking such a big decision... Contract marriage, like really? Maybe somewhere you were never sure about us, now I understand why you never declared our marriage to the world! But it's ok now I guess... It wouldn't make any difference...

I don't want to come back to you knowing I may no longer be married to you... And I am really angry at you! I don't want to talk to you ever... Don't you dare come in front of me, I don't know what I will do to you... Just go away, I am so done with you and your contract marriage..."

Khushi...

Arnav could see tears stains on the letter... Arnav could see her pain, her anger all over... Her immense love for him too...

So now he knows. He better fix it fast.

Honestly Khushi is one confused soul. One chapter, she thinks rationally and does not believe in the contract marriage and next chapter u realize that she left to her parents house cause she believes she isnt married to Arnav anymore.

Beginning of the letter, she said she held no grudges against Arnav, by the end of it, she is angry n cursing him. What is wrong with her. Where is my rational, mature Khushi gone ?? This guy is calling her since last night, would he have done that if the marriage was over for him ? Seriously, he did so much for her and she couldnt even face him and ask him the questions upfront ? Didnt even think of giving him the benefit of doubt ??

In the end, i only feel sad for both of them. Agreed Arnav has done a lot more mistakes to hurt her. But the final conclusion from my pov is that Khushi, is quite immature and needs to learn a few things herself too. Personally I wish Arnav tells her the truth and moves away from her life. She needs to know that if he is wrong, then she is too to a little extent. Yea he should confess and leave her alone. Let her come back if she wants to. Otherwise let her go away.

Public announcement of their marriage is not the only important thing. what he feels what she feels is far more important then public or society knowing about them.
