Why are they ending the show? - Page 4

It's not fair to say that shows with "Nayi Soch" don't do well. IPK3 had no Nayi soch, In fact it's regressive with showing a Westernised girl is a Vamp and Sanskari Desi girl is a perfect Bahu. So I don't see ANY Nayi Soch in this show. They always showed Chandani as a Victim and then when she finally decided to stand up for herself, if was to fight with Sautan/Vamp. The same old story. Nothing Nayi in it at all, and Soch toh bilkul bhi nahi.

There are shows on SP that do try to show men that respect women, and dont manhandle and insult them (Like NK) and also content driven, plot-driven shows like RKC. Star Plus like all channels need viewership to sustain themselves. Some channels have less viewership, like Sony. But their shows are usually good. I normally watch those. Even IB has had it's good moments, but they showed a lot of regression too, with Jhanvi never leaving her cheating husband, and S marrying A by force and then her acting like Tia was the problem, not how she was treated. Gul is not known for her progressive content, but at least IB was quite entertaining for a long time. Now it's too long. So I dont watch it.

SP is not to blame for this show going off air. The makers are. They made a show with no head or tail and most viewers didnt like it. So that is why it's ending.
