My thoughts...about the show

Never thought I'll fall in love with any show like I did for IPK. This show Naamkarran is so special and Avneil makes it more special that I just couldn't stop myself from catching up with all the episodes right from the leap took place. And I absolutely don't regret it.

Welcome to NK forum. Even I was an IPK1 fan, and it was my first Indian show I followed. But since then have liked a number of shows. But this show has really "Got" me. I have not been on a forum daily for a show in a LONG time. Not since EDKV which ended a year ago.

I watched all the episodes post leap too, just like you but that was 3 months ago. Since then, I have never missed an episode. I just love this, and I am in love with Neil and Avni as well. AvNeil are goals and Neil is just a babe. A total Babe. The kind of guy any girl would want to marry. He is hot, has swag and is a true gentleman! Best of all he has a JOB and he does it too! LOL. Neil is proof you can be a "Good" guy and still be Hot. Not just Bad boys are Hot. Neil Khanna officially makes good boys the hottest on the block. A man who doesn't MU women and respects them is the new rage. Actually is was ALWAYS the rage, but Indian fiction shows seemed to think otherwise. But now Neil has set the bar so high.

As for Avni, she is the rage too. She has self-respect and she values herself. She does not become anyone's fool or anyone's doormat. She's not a romantic, in fact she is bad ass. I just love her character. She only started to believe in love because of Neil. She is so unique. I love her. Together AvNeil are a Killer Combo. Hope you make more posts on them.

Every day I see new fans of this show here and on Twitter. This proves that "Good content" will always find an audience and the word spreads. I started to watch this show coz of some people on Twitter posting NK edits on my timeline. The show was recommended to me. I am sure this show collected a big audience in the same way. So welcome to the forum and hope you enjoy more of AvNeil in the coming weeks and months!

Similarly, the first ever Indian show I watched was IPK1 which made me join IF and got me also hooked to FF related to IPK. Then I kinda watched YHM for a while but I gave up and left IF for a couple of years. Last year I started watching IB but it lasted nomore than 50 episodes (I only watched after the forced marriage part)as I just couldn't stand the way it was crafted. The stereotyped FL who just kept sacrificing was just not to my liking, no offense to IB fans, this is just my personal take. In between watching IB, I came across a YouTube video of NK and that got me interested. I read up abt the show and started watching few episodes post marriage part. I just loved the pace it went and the characters AvNeil themselves. In no time I managed to catch up with all the post leap episodes (thank god Hotstar was still made available outside India then)and look forward to daily episodes ever since.

The strong headed Avni is what I liked initially. Her focused, no nonsensical and yet kind hearted attitude was sth new to me. I just loved her in the episodes during her first rasoi. She has no qualm in getting head on with Neil, something I never saw in any Indian drama so far. I just love her.

Gradually,the character Neil caught me into surprises too! For once, I saw a ML who fought for what is right even with his mom without having to make the FL sacrifice. The premarriage duppata in fire episode, was simply Wow!! Since then the journey of diligently catching up with NK started for me. Hats off to the writers and the cast who are just so good at their characters (Prakash, Bebe, Neela are truly one of a kind being well defined)

Hope NK goes a long way and they keep this momentum up.

I also just discovered the show a week ago, and I am almost caught up, thanks to binge watching. I only started watching post leap. This show got me excited like none other. I used to love other shows like IPK and Geet. But when I started thinking about the whole abuse and manhandling, I started disliking myself for liking the show. I started watching IB, but same abuse and man handling. Then Swabhimaan, but they started butchering Karan's character there too. This is one show that has consistently shown Neil as a wonderful man, and Avni with actual self respect, not the token that is usually there in shows. Avni Neil are goals! I'm so glad that a show captured my imagination after such a long time. They look amazing together too! I have high hopes that they won't butcher Avni's or Neil's characters amidst this Juhi drama. Love them to bits!

Hi :) You did just fine with what you have written, I was a huge fan of IPK it was my addiction and I didn't think I could ever love another show as much as I did IPK but I was wrong. There have been gems to come along for me like BI and BD which really restored stood out, now the same can be said for NK. Neil and Avni are goals, two characters who stand out as a couple and as individuals. Neil is the type of man any girl would dream of having in her life, he knows his priorities and stands for what is right. Avni, like Neil is flawed but together they are perfectly imperfect. I truly applaud the writing for both characters especially Avni who never comes across as mahaan. The writers have crafted out their characters so well that you are able to relate to them.

Welcome iss pyaar ko kya naam doon was my first TV show also. I used to watch this show before leap also sometimes but it was after leap I started watching it because of Zain imam I was fan of him from Tashan e Ishq I had watched whole TEJ because of his acting not for the lead couple. Coming to naamkaran I was sure Zain imam would surely give his best I was unsure about aditi I have seen her in ek dujkhe vaaste and was not impressed. I was proved wrong aditi was actually awesome and Zain always raises the standards.
Neil is the one of the best male leads in Indian television. OK god seeing him feels like blessing how I carved for such a male lead and finally he is there. The CVS have written his character very well.
Avni finally a female lead who is impulsive and stubborn. Knows to break rules. So many shades for a female lead is so good to see.
Avneil chemistry is magical. They are couple goals.

I had watched ib for sometime but after they removed Rumya I'm not addicted to the show so much. It's only naamkaran that I watch on sp regularly sometimes rishton ka chakrakudy.
