Dreams are what people have, images, emotions that conjure up involuntarily in sleep. Dreams are also what people aspire to achieve. Dreams can also be a day dream , a reverie. Finally dreams can also be wild fancies , a trance . For Chandni, the episode is yet another in the series of being married to Dev the once childhood friend now her dreamy husband. Advay in the main, but Dev for Chandni , just watches his wife actions and strangely allows her to dream on? Does this suggest that within himself he too is having a melt down? However the kind of man that he is.. taking commands from others least of all from this wild dreamer Chandni! is just not on. The man has lived independently , fended for himself, so now currently the song he sings is for all to swallow, hard as it may be, to accept the his dream girl Sasha friend of many years, as opposed to Chandni who he sees as a bad dream. Will Advay eventually get what he wants? Deny his existing marriage to Chandni or better still nullify it? Advay is a dream man between two women. Chandni and Sasha both want to live their ideal dream life with Advay . Both women boast about being his long term friends. Both consider him as their dream boat. But only one of them's dreams make such history with him.. history that makes him the man he is Advay Singh Raizada.. only Chandni knows, cajoles and provokes the Dev in him..Dev the boy whose childish dreams turned to bad dreams, over the years, till now.. so to me the episode touches about characters dreams, wishes, desires.. whatever one wishes to call them, depending on whence it's coming from.
Fire fighter in action! While the other woman Sasha ignites sparks in Chandni's home. Chandni dampens the sparks that intend to burn down her dream house! Only one thing is on Sasha's mind , entice Advay into the noose of marriage. The scene between them , wine and Sasha all over Advay, with Chandni being the eavesdropping snooping wife! To me is a slightly multi agenda based on Advay's part. One , the manner in which he eyes her, checking out shasha's assault on him,and then subsequently responding to Sasha's sweet nothings seem in the region of pulling Chandni's leg , plus make her go green with jealousy!. Chandni does turn bilious and comes out with under her breathe as a woman hating on another woman! Have to say, for Chandni a loose woman making a pass at her precious Dev is no laughing matter, as much as it is amusing to watch. Did cross my mind is Dev trying to show Chandni that abroad, men and women as mates are likely to become tactile with other? but for Chandni its not acceptable , this is back home, besides Dev may be her friend but he is Chandni's husband! Slight problem in that, as Dev is hell bent to renounce her as his wife. which is why Sasha takes lots of liberties! But it's not that Dev is unaware of what's cooking up in Chandni's pretty little head! Whether he accepts or not? he too secretly appears to enjoying putting up an amusing deception before Chandni.. after all Dev loved to tease Chandni! Is he still doing that as advay? Using Sasha as a rather useful human resource? To see Chandni's reaction he heeds to Sasha to tarry a while by her..
The cheap Sasha systematically nibbles away at Chandni's dark chocolate filled macaroon! Breaks into song and very nearly takes a bite at her delicious Dev! Before her dreams come crashing down! Chandni needs fresh reinforcements before Sasha occupies all of Chandni's assets and territory! Nani & co, give Chandni the needed weapons to intercept Sasha's progressing invasion upon , shall we say a rather vulnerable Advay! Has he got an ulterior motive too, in allowing this seductive assault on himself? well if it's to get at Chandni ? then he's in for no surprises too! as Dev should know that Chandni too gives as good as she gets! To keep her dreams come true and alive!
Sending smoke signals!! Fire! Attack! Chandni smokes Sasha out of the woman's love nest where she keeps her husband Dev hostage! Few flippant yet purposeful blows triggers the smoke alarm and more important alerts the family! One loose woman lusts after a married man! she needs cooling off! So the sprinklers come on automatically! Chandni hides behind her vantage point... basking in sheer victory !Only her Dev bellows at her to come out! her game is up! Chandni smiles like a Cheshire cat! At her Dev! while Sasha stands under the sprinkler! The fire alarm brings the family to Sasha's room! And Nani suggests since the room is gutted.. Sasha put up with Nani!
Beyond her wildest dreams! Chandni faces the bellowing Advay despite of being drenched he acts up, plays safe! Sings of the same song sheet he sings from ,when he fears Dev raising his head! Chandni is not my wife! this marriage is nonexistent! Nani knows when to ensure every one including Sasha exit.. so one to one letting off steam time is afforded to Chandni with her Dev!!
She would never dream of standing under a shower with her man! but thanks to Sasha , Chandni creates a smoke signal! An SOS.. a private moment with her Dev.. she stands close to him, parts her moist lips and looks up into his dripping stubble face slightly inclined over her.. torture me as much as you can Dev! I will bear it with a smile. He stares down into her moist face , his eyes hooded eyes. She whispers, you disappoint me Dev, this song was our favourite song when we were children..torture me , will bear it with a smile.. she reaches up to feel his wet hairy arms. Dev is fearful and releases the grip of her hands.. release me, let me go, and he leaves! But not for once, will Chandni give up her dream of releasing Dev from his shell of oblivion. Her dream makes her wait upon turning her desire into reality!
An angel dreams of what every child desires, both parents.. Adi talks to his mother about peer pressure about his dad. Its an issue Pooja has left on the back boiler. But her son has a right to know why his dad cannot be with him ? like other kids. If Adi is not explained the truth about his father.. he will draw more comparisons of his life with his peers. Nani too wants Pooja not to keep things from her son. Here Pooja shares about her anxiety .. which is not to shatter her son's dreams! So the reality, implicates all is not good news. Is this family into keeping secrets? Like Dev keeps a secret from Chandni why he really hates her and finds it difficult to forgive her?
To live her dreams, she fears no ridicule !for she thinks from her heart! One day her heart will give her Dev back to her.. ok she continues to make a point! Being married means sleeping in the same room as your husband! Advay is not amused by her theatrics! Since he sleeps on the settee, she too follows her leader! Will sleep in the same room!even if it means sleeping in the huge lounge! To observe decorum, they'll sleep separately, there are elders and a child about! A wife cannot be careful enough especially, when there are girls like Sasha on the loose! Advay had enough of two women for one day! He just puts up with Chandni's messing about and settles to sleep except for her fond admiring looks at him! Advay does give into Chandni's antics, he is not furious enough with her! which is why she feels she scores victory! so after some gentle flirting banter, both doze off.. Chandni is at peace, that loose woman Sasha is under control by Nani! And here she keeps Dev tied to her hip...zzz..
The morning brings a different story! Dev and Sasha coming down the stairs! Advay looks across at her stunned face.. dream on Chandni.. you just dream on. The pair give Chandni the impression of things she cannot even dream about! shameful! Sasha winds up Chandni. leads her to believe they were up to no good on terrace underneath the moon and stars!
A wife has the right to demand an explanation from her husband of what he's been up to while the cat was asleep? Its amusing when he wants her to speak about what she means? clearly Dev is pulling her leg.. he knew she would be shy to talk about hush hush private moments between a man and woman! When she accuses him of breaking his marriage vows! Advay changes into the mean man and reminds her what marriage? and gives her the dream on baby look! she prefers to dream ,my Dev would never cheat on me!
