It was an hour since Chandini stood firm on her resolution and was drenching in the rain. At first, Advay ignored her childish acts and proceeded to dine. But the moment, he realised that she hasn't eaten anything since morning his appetite automatically died. Worry lines formed on his forehead thinking that she might fall ill. Unable to control himself, he ran to the backyard where she stood shivering in rain. He reached her at once and chided her for doing such childish acts. But he saw her grinning foolishly at him. Holding her hand, he turned only to be stopped by her as she placed her right palm on his left hand which held her indicating him that she was not going to leave.
Chandini - Phirse jeeyenge woh din, The jo sabse haseen (We will relive those days, The most cherished and beautiful time)
Advay jerked her hand way and said
Advay - Koi maayne nahi rakhti yaade, Naa koi beeti baate (Those memories as well as our past doesn't hold any significance in my life)
Turning him to face her and again holding his hand, she inched closer to him
Chandini - Yaad hai har lamha, Gawaah hai jo hamaare saath ka (I remember each and every second of our togetherness)
Her words angered him as he clutched her shoulders tight
Advay - Hamesha se tha tanha, Woh saath nhi tha ek dhokha (I was always alone, It wasn't togetherness but a sham)
The rain poured heavily hiding his agony and tears. Placing his hand on the trunk of the tree, he said painfully
Advay - Nahi hai tujhse wafaa, Deti ho sadaa jafaa (I don't trust you, You always hurt me)
Chandini noted the change in his voice and her heart throbbed knowing the level of Advay's distrust on her
Chandini - Naa ki hai bewafaai, Kyu nahi sunte meri safaai? (I haven't betrayed you, Why don't you listen to any explanation)
Advay clenched his fists as he heard another lie from that beautiful mouth
Advay - Bematlab hai har duhaai, Maan le apni bewafaai (All your pleads are meaningless, Just accept your unfaithfulness)
Her voice cracked at the accusations he hurled against her
Chandini - Ek hi hai sachhai, Mai nhi harjai (I am not a disloyal woman and that is the only truth)
He turned back swiftly and looked in her eyes which sparkled with determination...to win him back
Chandini - Jeetungi tumhe firse, Apnaaoge mujhe poore mann se (I will win you back and you will accept me whole heartedly)
Smirking at her Advay replied
Advay - Koshish hai bekaar, Milegi sirf haar (Your attempts are futile, You will only lose)
Chandini was slightly disappointed at his constant denials but still didn't budge
Chandini - Tum aaoge mere paas, Meri bhi hai zidd (You will definitely come to me one day)
Advay gave her a wicked smile and stated
Advay - Naa rakhna aisi aas, Aur nahi ummeed (Don't keep your expectations high)
Chuckling, he further continued in his sharp voice
Advay - Aag hu mai, Jal jaaogi (I am fire, I will burn you)
But his facial expression changed at her strong retort while she grinned
Chandini - Paani hu mai, Bujha dungi (I am water, I will extinguish you)
This gave her some confidence and she kept testing his patience with her witty one liners
Chandini - Lautega mera Dev, Yeh mera vaadaa hai(I promise to bring back my Dev)
This reply rubbed him on the wrong side and he became furious
Advay - Tabse marr gaya Dev, jabse fareb tera jaana hai (Your Dev died the day you betrayed him)
As she observed his changed mood, Chandini softly caressed his cheeks to calm him and stared at him lovingly
Chandini - Naa kar saku bayaa, Mere liye tum ho kya? (I can't express what you mean to me)
Shoving her off rudely, he said in a dangerous and loud voice.
Advay - Nhi hai koi parwaah, Bas nafrat hai bepanaah (I don't care, My hatred for you is unguarded)
Chandini staggered back as she slowly started to believe that this man here was not her Dev. Her heart broke to embrace the fact that her Dev was indeed dead. She was moving backwards and failed to realise that a branch was about to fall on her head. Chandini heard him shouting her name and in a matter of seconds she was on the ground with him on top of her. After sharing a passionate eyelock, Advay saw her bleeding feet and reprimanded her
Advay - Baaz aa jaao apni aadato se, Fir naa karna yeh bachkaani harqate (Stop these habits of yours, Don't you dare to repeat this act again)
Chandini's heart fluttered in joy seeing his concern for her while she said cheesily
Chandini - Mera vishwaas hai jeeta, Tumhe hai meri chinta (My conviction won, You do care for me)
