Chandini: Silly, Stupid, Spineless or JUST A DEEWANI

Okay my beautifully people,

I am here to discuss a have a serious discussion for a change, you ask why , well I have over the last two days read posts on this forum, judging Chandini and her actions,

There are two major accusations and I wud like to take the time to go thru these in detail. Sorry not trying to bore you, just want to talk to you and share my thoughts on this matter.

First accusation is that ,

Why has Chadnini still not tried to find out about Dev's past namely abt his parents whereabouts and about this brother? She is insensitive towards Advay's pain and is only focussed on trying to Woo him? How Gross ?

Okay so the argument to that first of all is, how long has it been since Chandini found out Advay is Dev , lets take a look, SOAP DUNIYA STD TIME VS ASLI DUNIYA STD TIME !!

SDST VS ADST

ADST Thur = SDST lunch time she decides to leave the house so

SDST 2.00pm she has left the house

SDST 3.00pm she is at the beach and finds the locket and realises DEV = Advay

ADST FRI = SDST 3.30pm , whereby she comes back and back hug happens and revelation and face off happens , ok

ADST MON= SDST maybe around 5.00pm, She is getting decked up in the blood red saree

SDST Around 5.30 she turns up and says she is going to live in this house

SDST aroudn 6.30 she throws the stone at Advays Head

ADST TUE= SDST still about 6.45pm, Advay throws the stone and walks away

for next 2 hours she has tried Plan B and C , I.e Slipping on wet floor plus chandelier.

Mind you it si only probably 8.30 issh when all this is done with.

SDST about 9.00 pm she brings him dinner and decides to go and stand in the rain.

So the point I am trying to make here is , from beach , where she went after lunch hour till she stands in the rain , it has only been about 6 -7 hours,. AGREED !!!

Now put yourself in Chandini's shoes, she has only just realised that ADVAY IS DEV, the man she has been waiting for, for the last 16yrs, and he is here.

She has had to firstly comprehend with the fact that Dev is here and he has moved mountains to marry her. OMG that in itself is a very big matter to come to terms with. YES he is angry because of something she said acc to her .

She was attracted toward Advay, even a dead person wud be aroused by this man, so Chandini never stood a chance. But he is the DEVIL for sure, nevertheless she is attracted towards him

But then there is the guilt that she loves Dev and actually wanted to marry him.

But to make matters worse, Indrani wanted her to marry PP, so she is split between DEV ADVAY, INDRADI AND PP !!!

But eventually Advay was her destiny, and he breaks her heart. No that she expected any less from him anyways. She wen to live with him, fully aware of the fact that she was going to face humiliation and heartbreak. But did so for her family and for her mother, which I totally understand.

Now this girl has suddenly realised that ADVAY IS DEV

Firstly there is no more guilt, the man she was attracted to was her DEV, and DEV is back and what better HE IS ACTUALLY HER HUSBAND !!! OMG !!!

But if we were in her shoes what wud we do? Would we say why is he angry or where are his parents, or would we start jumping up and down with JOY !!! that the man I Love is here and not just that , HE IS ACTUALLY MY HUSBAND !!! WOW !!! and , and a very big AND HE IS DROP DEAD GORGEOUS !!!

Don't knw abt you , but I for sure would be stripping myself to get this hott man in BED ASAP !!!! HAHHA !!! Kaahe ke it is the right of his wife !!! HAHA !!!

After having made such a sensible point I had to say the above and ruin it isn't it HAHAH !!! KAA KARE cant help drooling over the droolicious Barun !!! DAMMITT SOBTI!!!

So hence if anyone says oh its pointless, she is not asking the obvious questions , is insensitive blah blah blah , Just do me a favor and take a CHILL PILL , its only been 6 hrs since realisation, let it take a couple of days to settle into her and then she will automatically start asking all the relevant questions for sure.

SECOND ACCUSATION : This is just too much TRUST ME !!

Chandini is stupid, spineless girl, who has gone back to ADVAY , a man who has hurt her , called her characterless, blackmailed her into marriage and had almost SET FIRE TO HER BANGLES !!! OMG WHERE IS MY BRICK WALL PILLEAASSEE !!! UFFF !!! TRUST ME I AM A OUT AND OUT FEMINIST and even I don't agree with this accusation.

Sabi's wrote this on a different thread but I wanted to quote it here , tho I have read a couple other threads too , on similar lines but refrained myself from commenting.

I loved the simplicity with which Sabi has replied to this question and what is that simple reason owing to which Chandini is behaving like a MENTAL Patient , IT IS CALLED LOVE , LOVE of the highest order, of total abandon, where there are no rules , and all that exists is LOVE !!!

I love the fact that Sabi even adds gender to her list, as this is something I have only come to accept in the last couple of years. That love can be blind to gender too !!! Thanks to an interview of Angelina Jolie's where she says she is not bisexual yet had a relationship with a woman because she loved her. WOW !!!

Reminds me of that song from Refugee movie,

Yes they mentioned it as boundaries between countries in the song, But TBH nature is not bound by anything, except love. HOWEVER we humans have rules and boundaries and have bound ourselves into a life of unnecessary bondage. !! What would life be, if there were no boundaries ,

Maybe like this forum , Where I can talk to the entire world and fall in love with women I have never met !!

So in other words there was no difference between her and her lover,( Krishna here ). So how can she blame him or who can she blame when there is no difference between the him and her.

Similarly speaking of Shiva and Shakti , SHIVA IS SHAKTI and SHAKTI IS SHIVA !! two sides of the same coin. Cause and Effect !!

Hence why, she stood on his chest as Kali and he didn't take offense, Because they are one and the same.

Love where only love remains and there is a total loss of ego and personal identification. Whereby you identify yourself with the person or even the object you love.

Yes people like Meera and Rumi were able to do that with the divine. We mere mortals are also capable of it and at least during the first few days, weeks or months or even years of falling in love, you experience this exhilarating feeling of wanting and willing to do anything to please the object of your affection.

Hence why LOVE is called, DEEWANAGI , PAGALPAN , a state of total madness, and actually medically too they resemble Mad people apparently !! MEERA was branded as Mad and so was RUMI !!!

This is the kind of love that Sabi is talking about, and I completely agree with her!!!

A place which is beyond the logic of right and wrong of the human realm,

Chandini for now is living in that place,

A place where logic has no place,

No wonder, we too are branding Chandini as mad, totally consumed by her love for her DEV to the point that she is willing to overlook all his misdoings. WHY ? Because She loves Dev with total abandon !!

Right now she is not thinking clearly, WHY because LOVE HAS CLOUDED HER POWER TO REASON !!!

No wonder he is her DEV !!! her object of adoration, adulation and affection. HER OBJECT OF WORSHIP !! LITERALLY HER DEV !!!

Can you be angry with your God, HMMM doubt that very much, in spite of the fact that God plays with us and throws all kinds of Googly at us, we still love him. Every one of us has faced some form of tragedy or another, yet we seem to be very much in love of this Sadistic seeming GOD HAHAH !!!! THAT is the power of LOVE , where we are totally blinded to the faults of the one we love.

HENCE why maternal love is the ultimate love. Even Hitlers mother would have said that her son was the greatest person and inspite of what he did, she would have loved him unconditionally. Because love has no reason.

REASON AND LOVE LIVE IN TWO DIFFERENT PARTS OF OUR BODY

One in our HEAD and the other in our HEART !!! and hence have absolutely no connection to each other.

The other argument to this accusation I can make, is that Chandini loves Dev and not Advay. All the terrible things were done was by Advay, not Dev. Hence why she is hell bent on bringing her Dev back. Hence why she throws the stone at Advay.

She knows what Advay is capable of , but she also knows what Dev is incapable of, and Dev is INCAPABLE OF HURTING his Chandini. Hence why for now she is doing everything in her power to bring back her Dev.

For once, I totally get Chandini.

She has never had love, from anyone or anywhere. The only person to have loved her unconditionally was DEV ( mind you I am talking about Love untainted by infatuation and sexual gratification, JUST LOVE, DIVINE LOVE, between two kids)

We know to what extent Chandini is willing to adjust and accommodate in order to gain love. We have seen that with the way she pleads and succumbs to Indrani's demands, just so she would love her back. Even though Indu had never loved her , the hope that she may do someday, makes Chandini do things for her mother that she may not necessarily appreciate.

But now that Dev is back , don't you think she will move mountains to make him love her back, given the fact that she is well aware of the LOVE he once had for her. I think hence why she is behaving like as though she is in a delusional state of mind where the power to reason and comprehension has gone to the dogs.

Advay too loves her with the same abandon, just that he hasn't realised it yet, but he will one day, and it is for that day that I am waiting Patiently. Because that day BARUN WILL KILL US ALL SLOWLY SWEETLY SEDUCTIVELY!!! AND WE WILL HAPPILY DIE KNOWING THAT THIS IS POSSIBLY THE BEST POSSIBLE DEATH !!! AND THAT DEATH IS ACTUALLY EXTREMELY GORGEOUS AND GOES BY THE NAME BARUN DREAMBOAT SOBTI !!

I know you may agree with me or disagree with me or just simply call me MAD,Well I guess I already know that. But no matter what do let me know what you think and what your thoughts are on this matter HAHAH !!😆

I have taken Sabi's comment because I was floored by what she said, I do not intend to offend or take a dig at anyone WRT to the two accusations. It was my general observation based on a few threads, and comments I read on this forum and also on twitter and otherwise.

If I have offended anyone, Then I duly apologise as that was never my intention.

Please ignore Typos and grammar as I have sticks under my eyelids to keep them from shutting whilst I was typing this.

I have always had a soft spot for Chandini because despite the bad characterization, one thing that was loud and clear was her yearning for love and approval. She puts up with what Indrani dishes because she wants to belong. She is someone who has taken the blame of being an unwed mother coming from a conservative mahant family to spare her sister and mom embarrassment. So I expect Chandini to have sympathy and empathy more than the average person. But when she finds Dev what does she do ? She is in shock. I get that, she is happy. But he is so angry, hateful, revengeful. Nothing like the boy she knew. So what would a normal person do who is a friend, find out what happened ? Chandini has such empathy, she knows suffering so why does she not move heaven and earth to find out why Dev hates her ? It just makes no sense.

I will not rant about Nani, but she too does not make sense. I expected her as the elder in the family who can see past the hate to sit with Chandini and find out her side. I was never team Advay, but both their actions made me so because why is no one looking at why he is so hateful, especially Nani who knows the whole truth. How will he heal unless the misunderstanding is cleared up. Instead they are doing silly tricks on him.

I expected Chandini to fall in love with Dev like Shesherkobita said. A love that is beyond reason, but that love puts the loved one first at the cost of self. Chandini if she had loved Dev that much will find out first why he is hurting, that is why what she is doing does not make sense. She puts her family first always at the cost of self. no Dev. That is why her actions seem selfish.

how can Chandani smile when she can clearly see his seething eyes? how can she laugh around him when he clearly refuses to even smile in her presence? she loves him right? then how does his pain not bother her? why isn't she seething in anguish at his somber tone and burning pain and hatred filled eyes?

love doesn't work that way. be it six hours or six months,your first priority will always be the man you love. the sight of the man you love in pain would shatter your heart over and over again. Chandani is not in love if she cannot on a subconscious level feel Advay's pain. no she isn't in love. she has just got back her friend and she is in love with the image of Dev she has created and her first priority is not loving her Dev but making sure that the Dev she knows now matches the Dev in her dreams. she doesn't care for his pain or his hatred for her. no. coz if she did she would have done everything in her power to know the reason and try to prove her innocence to him even if it meant throwing out her self respect. if she was like Mira or Radha she would have blindly trusted him and told him that she was innocent of all that he accused her of including the baby. because to her nothing else would have mattered other than her love for him.

so no. I disagree. Chandani is not in love with Dev. she is in love with Dev from her dreams and is being selfish here trying to superimpose that image of Dev on Advay.
