the desperation in her voice made him cringe , cringe at the thought that she wanted her mothers acceptance so bad. Cringe at the thought that her desparate voice tightened his chest. He is getting tried by the fight. The continuous battle with dev is warring him off. He saw how close Dev came to win and the every thought frightened him. he couldn't afford to lose the battle with Dev so when he got his weapon , chandinis baby , he went for the brutal attack. Fought him back with all the hate he has and once he is done , he came back to Mumbai shutting down dev forever. Because dev cant fight without chandini beside him.
But chandini entered his life again , again ? he laughed at himself. she never left him . And now dev is slowly gaining his strength again. And there are moments when dev over took him. ' mera bhi ek pal aayega (I have my moment )' her words made sense now. The moments she had are the moments dev stole from him. Because chandini can never win Advay but Dev always looses to her.
' Tum sowtheli thi sowtheli hai aur sowtheli rahegi ' the words knocked him to present from his thoughts and every nerve on his boby stood alert to concentrate. He held his breathe , his right hand raised to his forehead slighthly touching his temple and his eyebrows drew together as he tried hard to understand what he just heard.
'What does that mean? ' his thoughts are every where. It felt like everything is happening against the universal rules. And for the first time ever he is having second thoughts about chandini's part in his parents death. This means nothing , advay in him fought back. so what if she is her step daughter it changes nothing. chandini betrayed you and that's all it matters. so what if indrani never cared enough for chandini. You cared for her , and yet she betrayed you. she lied against your mother infront of everyone. she told everyone your hiding spot . knowing chandini is a step daughter doesn't change all this.
But Dev started fighting back , if chandini's baby became advay's weapon. Then the truth about chandini's mother became his weapon. 'she was innocent ' he fought back. Innocent enough to trust anyone . she is right here under your own roof after you destroyed her and promised to make her life a living hell . why ? because she is innocent enough to believe she can face the devil . Innocent enough to believe she can have her moment and that could change things.
He remembered their childhood. ' teri maa dayan hai kya? ' (is your mother a witch?) she asked him innocently not knowing the depth of her question. ' mein rokungi aapako ' (I will stop you) ' she said to him the day she came to his guest house for the first time . he remembered her strength when she is fighting him. The innocence in her in actually believing she could win. The attempts to expose him, her attempts to know the reason for his hatered . What if , he told her the reason ? what possible explanation can she give for betraying him ? May be there is an explanation , May be she is just a pawn, May be she is after all innocent.. Dev in him fought.
A hiccup broke his train of thoughts and he looked up for the first time realising that he is standing in front of chandini. How he got here , he has no idea. He saw her sitting on the edge of the bed holding the phone tightly to her heart as sobs escaped her shaking body.
' May be...' and the battle in him began again. This time could Dev win ?

Imagine if it's really advay on other end... Well ... That thought made me right this imagination.
