So much has changed in 2 days...her eyes welled up thinking about it...About her sisters, her life in Allahabad...Yes, not everything was perfect...but she had Shikha and Meghana...who looked up to her...loved being with her...There was Neeru mama who supported her...and yes mother...who supported her through all her mistakes...Yes mom is tough...but she has to be ...she has the responsibility of the whole family since baba...she couldn't think any more...

Her thoughts drifted back to how everything changed since Advay came into her life...It was really strange...one day he was promising to bring the stars to her, was crazy about marrying her...and next day he was threatening to reveal that she was an unwed mother of a child...He promised ...he promised to not reveal it...that was the only reason...only reason she agreed to marry him against her entire family...but then he turned around and used it to humiliate her ...and her family...They didn't have much money...all they had was respect...and he took that away too...

She looked at Nani...standing at the door of Raizada mansion...Nani was cheerfully announcing her arrival...But Advay...it was the same hateful Advay...he refused to listen to Nani...She drifted back into her thoughts...when Nani gave her back the keys of the house...and told her to come with her...How could she go to Advay's house? It is so painfully obvious she is not welcome there...Why is nani asking her to do this? But for Nani...it was not a question...she is MARRIED to him...and she has to go to her new home...Nani will have it no other way...The only thing Nani wanted to know was the truth about the baby...how did Nani know it wasn't her baby? How did she know she was doing this to hide something else? Protect someone else? Nani asked her point blank...only one question...To confirm what she already knew...Chandani couldn't confirm or deny...because to do either will mean telling her about Meghu...poor Meghu...how could she give her away? But Nani knew...read her silence...all Chandani said that she was indeed protecting her family...and that was enough for Nani...she made her promise that ...She will not leave Advay...somehow the old lady believes that Chandani is the only one who can save her grand son...Chandani couldn't refuse...

And now standing in front of that door...being humiliated...she sucked up her tears...and stood taking those insults he was throwing at her...She couldn't move...

What would be so bad if she didn't come? Why did she have to listen to Nani? Neeru mama had pleaded with her...Didn't she know how Advay felt about her? Didn't she know how much she will be humiliated? Yes...she did...she knew it well...but if she didn't go...her mother and her sisters will pay the price of the blame he put on her...forever...she couldn't do that to them...She put the family picture in her suitcase and made her decision...

She was brought back to the present once again...Advay was pushing her out the door...Her cheeks went hot with the humiliation...she was reminded of the time strangers said horrible things about her...how she felt...after the kidnapping...she wanted to run away...But unlike those times when she had a shelter to hide...her mom and sisters who supported her through this...This time there was no shelter ...and no family...all she had was this kind hearted old woman...who was screaming running behind them ...trying to stop her grandson...while he was pushing her out...

I love Cheeku...but what he is doing is not right...

He thinks marriage is a game...a way of taking revenge...but that's not how it works...Marriages are made in heaven...It's Gods will...Not something to be played with and toyed around with...

Poor girl Chandani...I feel in my heart ..she is not at fault...There has got to be another explanation...I don't believe it is her child ...she is protecting something...someone...I have a feeling about this...

What happened to my daughter ...and my son in law...how could I forget? But Chandani was only 8 then...how could she have known ...children are children...Cheeku doesn't understand that...but my heart says she is innocent...

I can't leave her here to be ridiculed and humiliated...I need to take her with me...need to give her ...her rightful place in the house...Advay will come around... I know it.

Glad at least Puja is not burning in HATE and can feel for another woman...without judging...She was probably very young then, and not in Allahabad...and has no memory of this,,,,

Hi Sush, nice one ..The makers haven't but at least you be tried to give us a view into chandni's mind..I esp liked it when you drew a comparison between what people told her after kidnapping incident and advay's behaviour today... Very real and natural..

This scene can easily be included in the show..Albeit when she is sitting alone in the house now..Hope the makers have it..

I'm actually shocked this show is written primarily by a female. I could barely manage to get myself to read the written update, meanwhile this lady Harneet is penning down her female protagonist as a ragdoll being emotionally, physically and mentally abused by everyone around her.

Yeah. EVERYONE. Even the likes of Nani and Niru Mama who seem to 'be on her side'. If the Mamu had any sense he'd take her away to Banaras to live with him. If Nani had any sense she wouldn't bring Chandni back for the sake of 'shaadi ka rishta' to live with a husband who she KNOWS hates her, and will make her life literal hell.

I know people are sick of Chandni's tears but she's honestly, on an individual level, the only character I have any sort of emotional connection to, and therefore sympathy for right now. She has NO ONE. No one who is actually looking out for her best interests. She's completely and utterly alone, in every way.

The issues of abandonment, of doing right by her mother, of doing anything and everything in the hopes of one day gaining her love, have turned her into someone who can only express anything through her tears anymore. She doesn't utter a word when she's insulted, or dragged and thrown out of the house like she's trash.

It's hard to stomach now. Hopefully the writers deem it appropriate to finally have her speaking up, asking the right questions, trying to discover the motives of why this man hates her so much, why the man's massi or whatever also hates her family. I wonder why Dadi didn't bother clearing up Advay's misconception that the baby wasn't Chandni's. Chandni's silence kind of hinted to her that it wasn't hers, no?

I want to both hug Chandu and shake her into finally taking some action.

Art reflects life...GP! The problem is not that exploitation is written about...the problem is exploitation happens...and he worst part is ...The victim is often blamed for it...

Although this is a fiction story not a social documentary...The is enough of a back story to explain MLs character...but it is still hard for me to watch... My heart goes out to Chandani...At this point...she is the only character I feel emotionally invested in...I hope the ML redeems himself ...in the story...

Yes all that won't happen in one episode...but I hope that's the overall tone...

Lovely write up .. sush .. I loved the episode .. first time I felt for the female lead .. wanted her to dump the guy.. and run away ...
It reminded me of the time in Pratham when kkg comes back to work and he throws her out .. and it struck me Nani is the New anji in the story .. ASR ki Achilles heel .
Why did they bring back the Allahabad angle right now .. thode din Mumbai magic Rahta..

Soon these people will also be in Mumbai ..I hope not in the same house ..

I know people did not like it .. but to be invested in a show u need to feel for the female lead .. abhi Tak we were not understanding her .. today we know why she came .. it was not a senseless decision she just wanted to let her family live in peace .. without the stigma .. out of sight ..
she knew she would be reviled but she still came .. as Nani was the only person aside from mama who was accepting her and she could not stay on her own
