At the wedding, she had brought Naani without his knowledge and commented that she knows Allahabad like the back of her hand.

Nice post. Both of them have strong personalities so they were clashing from beginning but ultimately right will remove the wrong

Do you really believe that? Right will overcome wrong? In Indian soaps? I don't think so!Indrani, is more clever, cunning and cruel than we can possibly think, she will give him a good run for his moneyWho is right and who is wrong here? I see two wrongs, Advay and IndraniI see your point. The day when One-Day Drama sequences became a "Serial" on TV, it was just a 13 Episode story. Where all characters were grey. No one person was Black and White. The Mega Serials started with Ramayan and followed by Mahabharata. The day Mega Serials began - where a Heroine would take 2 Episodes to climb the Stairs and 4 Episodes to climb down - the Show extended not just a few weeks, but a few years - where Tulsi became a Beauitful Babe, a Bahu to Buddi ...And then came Heroine Mahanta shows in all glory, with all types of vamps and vampires - with a whole lot of negativity and domestic violences and emntal tortures to explore...When Right Overcoming Wrong In Indian Soaps became a dream - Where one tends to lose track of the Main Plot and get lost in The Never Ending Sub-Plots and Sub-Tracks...No point in fretting over it when the TRPs and it's aunties rule the roost.Coming to Indrani and Advay...Indrani is a vile creature. She has reigned Allahabad and did all crimes more than Advay's age itself. No wonder she will be tougher for Advay to break down.. About who is right and who is wrong, this is my take on the story :You can choose to be Indrani's sisters / relatives, who remain under he shelter and be mute spectators, for your own benefit. You can choose to be Allhabad Public / her money lenders / pandits / her partners in crime - who don't have guts to oppose Indrani, against the Position and Power she holds in the society. You can choose to be Niru Mama, who is good at heart but does not guts to oppose or expose her deeds publicly. You can choose to be Chandni, blind to all the things happening around her, in the name of Mother, Love, Family and Honour. You can choose to be Nani, who can forgive Indrani's sins for burning her daughter and ruining her reputation.Or...You can choose to be Advay, who has the guts to fight against the Evil Witch, tooth for tooth and nail for nail. The good thing is, Advay has chosen to correct a Mistake that happened, rather than remaining a mute spectator. And he is bound to make a few mistakes himself in the process. Now, when you pick up a knife as a weapon, it's bound to get a few hands cut in the process. Even a few innocent ones. But, Don't worry, he is bound to correct his own mistakes too. He is a Maths Professor. He changes his solution every time the Problem changes its equation. He has been changing his plans and tactics every time Indrani and Chandni came out with new plans - and in his own words To Chandni during the Tea Spilling scene - "I don't adopt the same plan twice"... So, he won't repeat his mistakes. He will learn from it ..How is Advay going to feel when he realises that everything he punished Chandni for so mercilessly, she was innocent if and manipulated by IndraniHis victory will and should be hollow indeed, I hope he feels the guilt, pain and horror of his actions, that he destroyed the life of his best friend , who was innocent. IMO, I prefer 5 guilty so free than to condemn 1 innocent person, just my PICAt home, when we get angry for anything, our first target of anger, is our Mother or a younger sibling. We tend to show our anger on a person whom we Love, the most; the person who understands us better. And most often, the targets tend to be soft hearted ones. Like Chandni. Do we feel guilt by the end of it ? everyday ? Seriously? I don't think so. So, why do we expect this Neandethal action from a Hero - especially when we expect him to behave like a normal citizen ?Sure, I definitely don't endorse what he did was right.But..,the issue is ... He does Not Know that Chandni is innocent, at this point of time. And the day he does, he will make amendments. For sure. He can't stand someone hurting her - Not PP, nor PP's Mom, not even Indrani who had raised her. I am sure he won't forgive himself the day he realises what he did to the best friend, who depended on him, emotionally and psychologically. But the bond will only grow stronger, from there on. The bond will be like Gridfindor Sword - that which does not kill will make it stronger. Now, can Chandni stop being this snivelling jellyfish and stop trying to be a SaintShe needs to survive in a cruel, heartless world...bring totally selfless doesn't payCorrect. An Abuser will choose to abuse his victims, so long as the victim remains submissive. The day she fights back (like the Duplicate Passport argument scene), he will step back. And start respecting her for what she is.
