So after having had a emotionally charged perfect episode on friday, I guess the expectations from this show has shot up sky high. So lets get down to business and lets begin to take this episode apart piece by piece, Chitra Isshtyleee !! HEHEHE😆

So the episode continues from where it finished on friday !! ( obviously naa Chitra, you mental wali Mad !! 😕)
Shakun and Ranjit are caught on tape in the act !!! and time to act SHOCK 😲!!! SHOCK 😲!!! SHOCK !!! 😲( as the camera carefully captures each ones SHOCK!!! Except Advay ofcourse , cause Advay tho is all smug wale smirking 😆 to himself at the mo !!! )
I for once thought that Lipstick Masi will be lost for words, but GOOD LORD NOO!!!! on the contrary she proves to be a queen at Melodrama and actually a loud one too !! 😲
She accuses Shagun that she has stolen her Husband ( or rather, Husband wale Pati ) and then rebukes her husband wale pati , that he too fell for the charms of Shakun like a doggy wale puppy ( usne bulaya aur doggy wale pilli ki tarak dum hilate huye chale gaye HAHA 🤣. Direct Translation : She called you and you went after her like a doggy wale puppy, wagging your tail. HAHAAH 🤣!!! Loving these Direct translations, Hindi is such a beautiful language, you can fully express your emotions in such a gusty way, So he didn't just go after her like a puppy, but rather he did so by also wagging his tail in delight in the process HAHAHAH!!! 🤣 )
she cries ki meri insult wali bejati karadi, and tells shakun ki may god never give anyone a kameeni sister wali behen like you.
TBH I really felt bad for Kajol , at the end of the day this the ultimate betrayal and its only worse in this case as she has been cheated upon by both her husband wale pati and her sister wali behen. Me quite Lost for Words for once !!!! 😭
PP's mum humiates Indrani , that your family is one of a kind for sure, where a sister is up to lampu jampu with her own brother in law ( Honestly UMA I have no idea what lampu jampu means, it is not a Hindi word for sure !! so your guess is as good as mine , WHICH is that shakun is getting cosy with Ranjit ) PP mums goes on to say that If the aunty is so cheap wonder what the niece can be up to in the future BLAH BLAH BLAH !!! . AND hence she calls off the wedding for the ZILLIONNTH time 😕!!! OKAY WE GET IT 👍🏼!!!
Ranjit slithers away 😡( typical man , always manages to get away) while Shakun stays back only to be slapped by Indrani ( with her left hand) HAHAA 😆
I have only ever heard of ulte haat ka tappad, saw it today for the first time, wonder if it has more power that the seede haat ska tappad 😉. HHEHEH 😆!!!
She then asks Shakun to get out of the house immediately !!! while Kajol looks for Ranjit only to be told that he too has disappeared.
She wails and weeps her eyes out ki JIJI ab mera kya hoga. ( What do you mean kya hoga 😡, get a divorce and get a job !! foolish woman or even better write a book titled "Hindi wale English translations 😉, huge demand for it, I am sure Uma will be the first to buy it HEHEHE 😆)
Advay of course walks up to Chandini , and tells her that I hope now you begin to appreciate the fact that your family members are two faced , Just like YOU. Andar kuch aur , bahar se kuch aur ( more like, everyone is wearing a mask and hence are really not what they appear frm the outside. Direct Translation : One thing from inside, and another thing from outside )
He reminds her that he has kept his word and has ensured that her wedding is called off and congratulates her on her break up 😉
Advay is Blinded by Revenge, Chandini is blinded by her love for her Mother ( Ahem !!! ) RABBA VEY 😲!!! GOD help us VEY !! 😲
Take 2: Advay goes to see his Nani , who senses he is back. He says how she always manages to sense his presence.
I thought she was going to say "Tere musky odor se !!! oops I mean musky perfume se !!! "😳
She says Dekhne ka saleeka ho toh aankhon ki zaroorat nahi hoti !! (Satya Vachan !! )
( perception is king, in simple terms , those with a sense of perception really don't need eyes to see Or rather to perceive.
Direct Translation : If you know how to see, then you don't need eyes !!!😕 HUH !!! WHAT 😡!!! Haye rey !!! Rabba Vey !!! Direct translations ne maar daala vey !! )
Anyways , Nani explains beautifully to Advay that he is so blinded by his revenge that he is unable to see with clarity. She also reminds him that the repercussions of Chandini's broken marriage will have a lasting impact even upon her sisters' prospects of finding a suitable boy.
Nani also tells him that one must make sure that they don't feel ashamed of themselves if they ever have to make friends with their enemies.
Advay assures her that Chandini and he can never be friends.😭
I think Nani is the anchor in Advays life. She will be there to reprimand him and to show him the light when he is blinded by his need for revenge.
Cut to : Chandini is on the other hand crying her eyes out to her Mamaji that her wedding has been called off. Well at least mamaji makes a valid point, that he never really liked PP and so this may be for her own good, cause there maybe a better person in her destiny ( obviously the hottt guy wandering about the house 😳who yo yo's between a drop dead gorgeous avatar in black and a sinfully sexy avatar in white , today he is in the sinfully sexy avatar in white by the way 😳)
But on a serious note I am liking Mamaji and the dynamics of Chandinis relationship with her mama. I just hope they dont turn him into a negative character. Chandu of course is upset that her mother is heartbroken. She is also upset as she once again reminds us that she always assumed that Dev was her destiny , but destiny clearly has other plans for her ( hmm or so she thinks ).
Cut to Advay , who yet again assures his Nani and all of us viewers that DEV died the day Chandu betrayed him ( hmmm hard to believe tho babua 😉)
before you people start complaining that Chitra you silly girl where is the so called race wala pace to the show !! Patience people Patience !! Cause now it ijjj ⭐️
Time for REVELATION PART ONE :
Advay with tears in his eyes ( oh pls dont make this man cry you sadistic CV's 😭) tells his nani that Chandu spread the rumour that she saw his mum flying. To add to that when he and micku were trying to hide from the mob at the secret spot only known to chandini and DEV, Chandini revealed their secret hiding spot to the mob ,thus putting Dev and Micku's life at risk.
Chandini ( with tears in her eyes,, YEAHH 👍🏼 make her cry some more, you not so sadistic CV's, come on show us your sadistic side !! ) on the other hand recounts the events of the day , whereby she has been informed that Dev's father has stolen the jewellery from the temple. She then says that she went to their secret spot to meet Dev, but wasn't allowed to meet him.
Mamaji asks chandu to put the past behind and to move on with her life
Advays on the other hand says that unless the past is put to bed it is impossible to move ahead.
The dialogues and the editing in this scene is simple superb. 👏
So one thing is clear that Dev and Chandini had a secret spot where they spent time to together and played together , AWW this childhood love story is getting sweeter by the day.😳
Nani asks him the most valid question as to what he would if he were to ever find out that Chandini is innocent, Advay tho is convinced that Chandini is Guilty and hence will have to pay the price for her betrayal.
Indrani badass Vashisht ke real wala black chehra ( gosh koi Rituji ko Rudra kali ka role de do yaar )😲
While PP's mum is shouting at Indrani and telling her that she is sick and tired of the Vashists and their antics, Indrani is silently listening to her at first till she finally loses it and unleashes her true self.
She GRABS PP's mum by her arms and shouts CHUUUPP !!! CHUPP HO JAAA ( Shut up !! just shut up ) 😲
OMG I shudder,😲 Are you sure they were not referring to Indrani when they were talking about a dark intense anti hero 😉HEHEH 😆.
HMMM i think she is the darkest of dark villains we have seen till now. 😲 no wonder she referred to herself as TV ka Gulshan Grover in an interview.
O M G Ritu powerhouse Shivpuriji just take a standing ovation wala bow ji.👏
She says harshly , that its time to put and end to this namaste ji , behenji wala cutesy drama and its time to get down to business.
( Nautanki band karte hai , hamare beech rishta nahi sauda hua hai ) That there was no alliance between the two but rather a deal. GOSH WHAT DEAL !!! I quiver with a shiver. 😲
Time for REVELATION PART TWO :
So PP is a married man 😡. It has been agreed that Chandini will be his second wife in return for 2 crores cash
So Indrani says , just do the deal and get lost from here.
PP's mum says just pray that Chandini gives us a baby boy or we will have to get rid of her too just like we got rid of PP's first wife.
Indrani assures PP's mom that they can do as they please with Chandini after the wedding, cause Indrani is only concerned with her 2crore cash.
Indrani tells PP's mum to stop speaking of aukaad ( status ) as she says oh yeah I very well know your Aukaad.
PP baba kisi ko baba nahi de sakta 🤣( PP cannot give a child ( male child ) to anyone )
So clearly PP baba is not capable of having boys, A chronic case of Y chromozonwa ki depiciency, lagat hai hum kaa toh 😆!!)
So the fault is with PP, Inspite of knowing that Indrani is willing to risk Chadinis life and go ahead with this deal. EE toh phulll onnn KAALI wali villain nikli.😡
She says she needs some more cash for the future rasams and PP's mum gives it to her while Advay happens to over see the exchange of cash between the two women and thinks to himself that this family is only interested in money.
In the meanwhile , Chandini goes to console Kajal ( dear oh dear pls dont tell me you guys forgot all about her, DIL toh uss bichari kaa break wala toota hai ) 😭
Chandu consoles kajol and tells her that sometimes one is punished even when they are not at fault. She then goes on to add that
"Har rishte main Ek insaan sabse zyaada pyaar karta hai , itna pyaar karta hai ki khud hi kamjor pad jaata hai . Aur yehi kamjori uski taakat banti hai
( that in every relationship one person ends up loving the other person the most, and in the end this extreme love of theirs will become their weakness. And this weakness will eventually turn into their strength)
I wonder who they are hinting at. So does it mean that between Advay Chandu , Advay will end up loving the most , so much so that his love for her will become his greatest weakness !!! Me liking this STORY already !! 😳
or maybe Chandini is hinting at her own case of how her love for Advay in the future will act as both her weakness and her strength.
Moonlight is a gold digger 😲and is after the mysterious wali number twelve !! 😉
So PP comes up to a chandini who is still aimlessly moping around the house ( still in yesterday's clothes, YUKK !! 😕). He tells her the wedding is ON !! she feels happy and smiles while he gives her a box saying its 12. So he gives her a 12 lakhs worth of ear rings ( really !!! those ear rings were worth 12 lakhs !!! PP baba ko kisi ne tagh liya hai HEHEH😆)
The Omnipresent , Omnipotent Advay 😉 (who hears all and sees all like the GOD Almighty !!)happens to watch the tussle between PP and Chandu. He observes how Chandus face lights up and assumes it because of the the gold ear rings ( OH c'mon Advay babua she is a normal girl, who oohs and aahs over Gold effing jewellery) .
Advay misunderstands chandini joy and thinks that she is a gold digger, on the other hand Chadnini is happy cause the wedding is on and her Mummy darling is happy.
Advay correctly mocks at her and says that he has no self dignity, since she is happily willing to marry a man who has humiliated her twice and broken off the engagement twice. ( HUH !!! wonly twice, Are you sure Advay Babua , cause it seems like a zillionnth time to me OK he may be right cause after all he is the maths genius. HEHEH 😆) Hence he says that he knows that she is a gold digger.😲
I am actually surprised that he let PP touch and rub his hands up and down chandinis hands. YUKKK simply hate this Sbag PP !!😡
Shikha and her brainless sense of Jhoomar
So we have a quick filler Veer shikha scene.
Shikha is trying to fix the jhoomar . SO the jhoomar runs on electricity. OOOH SO its not an antique heirloom after all. AYE AYE AYE !!!
To top it she fits the glass bowl thingy first and then tries to fit the bulb afterwards. Couldn't she have replaced the bulb first, before putting the bowl thingy cover over it. Lagat hai common sense hallidaying pe gayi hui hai and to add to it she goes on to say that her sense of jhoomar is exceptional. WELL Clearly Shikha WOHH toh haiyye hi hai !! 😕
Veer asks her out for coffee. Shikha plans on teaching a lesson to Veer by playing a prank on him. She agrees to go out for TEA . ( WHAT !! He asked her out for coffee tho , never mind a date over a CUP-A-CHA it is ! ) 😉
The two of them are cute tho.
2 crores for a test drive !!! YUKK 😡😡!!! PLZ CV's get this PP out of this place ASAP !! 😡😡😡
PP is ranting about 2 crores and a 12 lakh wala ear ring and says all he has got in return is to just hold Chandus hands.
He wants a test drive, !!! I am really disgusted !! dont want to even repeat his intentions on paper !! YUKKK 😡😡😡
Indrani reminds him that Chandu is afraid of going out in public places. So she suggests that he take her out in a public place and when Chandini panics , then to take advantage of her.
PP calls her the inspiration to the Next gen of Villains ( that much I have to agree with him , cause she definitely has set a bench mark for how a negative character has to be played out ) 👏
Precap : Chandu tells Indu that I am afraid of going out , Indu says PP is your fiance, trust me , have faith in me BLAH BLAH BLAH !! 😕😕Chandini complies in a sexy red number, PP puts his arms around her while Advay watches darkly donning a drop dread gorgeous black Avatar in the BG ☺️.
OK so what was my take on today's epi
Was the pace too much to handle. Well TBH since the premise of the story is that of revenge by our dark anti hero , I guess its better that they establish the characters as soon as possible. Now that Indrani's mask is off, we know that she is an out and out, black as a moonless night Villain, and not really a Step mother with a myriad shades of grey.
I am glad that they have made this clear, so that from now on we know that every ounce of care or concern she showers upon Chandu is actually a facade. We know her true intentions and that really allows us as viewers to get a better pic of what this woman has in mind for Chandini. So I have no qualms about the pace.
I liked the episode, as todays epi has had many revelations and the show has picked up pace. Well it is a finite series so it is going to move rapidly , Thank god for that !! 👍🏼
Todays episode belonged to Ritu Shivpuri. 👏 She owned every frame and delivered every line with such a nuance that it gave me goosebumps. The subtlety with which she modulates her voice and changes her expressions are simply awe inspiring. HONESTLY Bollywood has clearly missed out on an extraordinary TALENT here. !!! She has proved that she is none other than the daughter of the great OM Shivpuriji himself. Her mother Sudha Shivpuri too is a legendary actress ( none other than the adorable Baa of Kyun ki saas bhi )
Is this a run of the mill story of a hero , heroine and a villain . Maybe yes, Maybe no. I dont care TBH. Its not how the story sounds on paper but how well it transpires on screen. There are many stories that sound plain and bland on paper, but it is the actors who breathe life into these characters and make us fall into love with these stories. So I have total faith that Barun , Ritu , Shivani and the rest of the cast are going to rock this show and take it to another level.
