Is Abhi in denial about Pragya?

Munni looks exactly the same like Pragya!! So anyone who had known Pragya will think this IS Pragya because it's so hard to find look alikes in the world unless they are twins. Pragya didn't have a twin of course as Sarla Maa would say it if that is the case.

But then Abhi is often shown remembering Pragya and is hoping that things will get better between him and Munni. He is giving her time and chance to recover from her accident trauma etc. which he believes might be making her behave off and odd.

But my question is here..

Is Abhi really feeling Munni is Pragya and is keeping his hopes high?

Or he just is in denial and doesn't want to accept this is NOT Pragya?

Because one thing that was recurrent in this soap was how Abhi and Pragya felt connected to each other through out hate marriage and pretenses and memory losses. That's missing here. Abhi is only holding on to the past while Munni is trying to figure out a way to deal with Abhi in every single scene.

That denial is fair from Abhi's POV as he couldnt accept that she is dead and even her body is not to be found.. That also gave him reason to believe she is safe rescued somewhere and will return back to him..
Also, its very unrealistic to have a look alike, so Abhi will believe for the longest time that Munni is Pragya only..he obviously will be frustated and disappointed..

For now I am not able to guess how Munni's character is going to behave and where this track will head..would the evils want her to misbehave with Abhi for a long time and then bring up topic of say a divorce..

Yes, denial is fair for Abhi... but then I don't want him feel shyt at the end of it when he is told Munni has nothing to do with Pragya.. that might be after months perhaps and he will be like hell with all at that point.

Munni I think will continue to make Abhi not like her.. and he may eventually feel she is nothing like Pragya.. he does feel so now... but is giving her the benefit of doubt. But he may stop doing that at some point.. but Munni may feel guilty and do some good to him then?😕 Yeah divorce may come up too at some point.. but I feel Munni won't accept a divorce when he wants it.

But whatever it is, why do the writers want Abhi and Pragya to suffer so much and not to live happily together? We can see Abhi suffering so much now and since we cannot see Pragya now, we do not know how much she is suffering now. The writers should have kept the name bhagya less kumkum since their aim is to make a married couple separate and suffer endlessly. There is no necessary for them to enter the fourth year of suffering, that is really too long a time for anybody to bear. The writers must get back Pragya asap and focus on Aalya and Purisha.

Haha! That's the theme of the soap. No one ever gets what they want. Not even the villains.
It's the struggle and fight they show as drama!

I think he really believes Munni is Pragya. He so believes in his love for her, so he's not doubting her.
Irony at it's best now. When she was really herself he did not believe her. Now that another woman has replaced her he really believes her!!!

For a guy who did not believe in love, marriage in the beginning of the show, he has turned 180 degrees and is all about love now.

I find the script quite interesting in this respect, lol!! 😆 There's quite a bit of patriarchy here.

Apparently this show is taking place in 2017 in India with the chrs being Indians.
Nowadays every single nonsense of an act requires the Aadhar card.
How is Munni/Pragya surviving with doubts over her identity?
Abhi has not tried to test Munni over this issue.
I too believe that he is in denial mode.
Neither does he want to know the truth nor is he willing to accept that Munni may not be Pragya.
This is how ppl in love will be.
They will not be prepared to accept that their spouse has departed.
If the lookalike of he/she makes an appearance ,it will only validate their belief.
Anything that proves otherwise will in all probability be denied by them.
The unwillingness to accept the apparent truth.
