Hey there all the lovely people!!
Me is a bit late today. Just caught up on the episode. It's not exactly a filler, it's a precap/prologue to the drama that's to unfold and the wrath it would bring, the suffering, the price.

It is said that truth is above all, be it honor, right or wrong. But truth is never easy, saying is difficult, hiding it is difficult, the path ahead is difficult, truth is a double edged sword which cuts both ways, speaker and listener alike.
Some secrets, hidden truth become that wound which is never healed 'nasuur' in Hindi. That wound which no matter how long is bandaged, tended to, but at the slightest movement it tears apart. Same goes with meenakshi and Rathi family. Vikram and Bhabho hid the truth from meenakshi and everyone else, they bore insult and taunts day and night for what purpose, that one day meenakshi got so hyped up that she sent the kid packing away, a way to tend to her wound, a wound which was plastered over her forcefully. She was never given a chance to understand his existence, but today when she sent that little kid away she gets to know the truth. Truth that pawan is her grandchild the living piece of her beloved daughter. Truth which was hidden and everything else was broken.

Same goes for Uma, his conversation with God was insight into his character, how he perceives Kanak's hard work, dedication, her honesty regarding their relationship, after the last exam they would be united as one, for each other, completed by each other they would be the wick and the lamp -- he is all set for his life, to start a new chapter a new phase of his life with Kanak, they would be 'hum' ...
Payal briefs Uma about the sweet shop owned by Kanak and her family and how Vansh came disguised to meet Kanak and how they have cheated Uma. Uma checks into the cupboard frantically for the papers. He wants to see it himself before he comes to any conclusion... he has been wronged. He is angry about it. --- interesting thing is despite observing Uma this closely Kanak could only see how shallow his ideals were related to dharm, she didn't see his honesty, for a second didn't think of confiding, confronting him. She hid her truth and that's going to back fire on her, because truth be it Kanak's or Uma's it's their individual truth, they are ignorant about each other and that's going to hurt.

lol...i am back to being angry at uma..anyways..coming back to present...i feel like..uma is living in a bubble..tht the world is only abt rules and dharam..and hr obeys it..so would his dharam patnj..and may be this bubble is gonnu get burst tomirw and thts what make.me feel.sympathetic to him..

Great analysis. I love how you're always able to elaborate what the characters are feeling, so well!

To me, I felt that the episode was okay. I love the fact Meenakshi came to know about Pavan, but i felt the flashback of Payal telling Uma was a bit unnecessary. But I guess for those who are new the flashback will help them understand what's going on.

I thought in those minutes they could have shown something else. So it felt like it was a filler, but that's just my opinion.

I mean, the pace is so much better now. But I had expected today's episode to be much more.

Hey there dear - thank you for reading and commenting.

Uma was wrong in forcefully marrying her... no apologies or justification doesn't erase his crime. That one wrong cannot be justified in any way. That wasn't dharm he did, but stoked his pride.
But as they say one black stain destroys the white sheet--all goodness of Uma falls short in front of his original sin. --- this is another debate and it's a long one. Let's not get into it.

Coming to truth of Kanak. It's not wrong, it's not right. It's where she stands and views the world and how she interprets it. Same is with Uma it's where he stands and see and perceive. Nether is wrong nor right. They both are right in their own way. Uma is going to be hurt. But Kanak is not getting away unscathed. It's a double edged sword no matter who comes out it's going to cut/hurt both of them.

Love stories are never easy. And these two are poles apart. Uma's heart is disturbed and is going to remain so for quite a long time now. Kanak didn't see his honesty because he never supported her these days. We know what is in Uma's mind because of his monologue and things he say in his mind, but Kanak doesn't hear them. And his mistakes or what she thinks are his mistakes are really big enough for her to not like him. He married her forcefully, he deceived Bhabho, an elderly woman, he kept Payal in his house in the name of Dharm, he didn't say anything when Masisa and others were against her, his thoughts are different. Just as Kanak said today, things which she thinks wrong are right for him, and things she thinks are right are wrong for him. How can love bloom between them within a month or two of marriage (as serial is going so slow, it's only the second month of their marriage)

Hey there dear -- thank you for the kind words.

It's each to their opinion. They are building up the drama, meenakshi encounter with the truth was a prologue to what is to be revealed to Uma and Kanak. --- we don't know what's going to happen but drama/showdown is going to happen.
The shock meenakshi went through is what happens when truth is hidden so long that it becomes meaningless... it's sometimes too late to even make amends, one has gone out too far away from the point of retreat. Would she be able to bring back those years which she spent hating that kid. She would be consumed by her guilt that he was there right in front of her but she couldn't see mishri in him. -- this is for another day but still.

As for Uma having flash back of Payal telling him about Kanak. He was wary initially, cold towards Kanak that she wouldn't be able to pass the test, but when he thawed he was sure of her and them being together.. his world has come crashing down flash back by flash back...

Someone once said. " Tinka-Tinka Jod Kar Ek parinde Ne Apna Basera Basa Hi liya
Par Kambakt Ussi Waqt Iss Tez Hawa Ko Aana Zaroori Hai".

Hey there dear - thank you for reading and commenting.

No story is ever easy, let alone love stories-- the series of event which transpire, effect the dynamics are often shocking and novel.
Indeed Uma and Kanak are poles apart, they till today are strangers.. he doesn't know her and she doesn't know him. But that doesn't make either of them right or wrong.
They both are ignorant - this is dramatic irony that we as audiences know but the characters are left unaware of the reality. Kanak is right in her stance, it's her perspective, but just because she is right doesn't mean Uma is wrong. Uma is right in his own way. ( except for his original sin- that is unforgivable) other than that yes they both have never been exposed to each other as two people who live together should have been. love is a bird that hasn't even flown by them as of now.
Truth is the axe that will cut through their already non existent thread of a relationship. Let's see how much truth comes out in the first place.

@blueflames - wow, that makes a lot of sense. He feels betrayed, I know. But she had always been rejecting him, physically even, why was he under the impression that she will agree to being with him today? She doesn't even want to hold his hand when she's in trouble (in the temple when she couldn't see and fell down all the time)

The idea "everything will be alright" by be it Kanak or Uma is their flaw in the story... they both are of view in moving forward without resolving previous issues. The unresolved conflicts have no future, the glass shards swept under the rug prick through the feet time and again.
Kanak thinks when she has the paper all will be right. -- her idea, nothing bad in being optimistic but still no regard to consequences. How would that work.
Uma thinks everything will be alright. Kanak and he would be 'hum' he is all knower gyani but still he is ignorant about Kanak and her wants her ideas. He agrees she is different yet they are together.

Hey blue...
First a shoutout:

Nakedness is coming tomorrow 🥳...

Oke... now episode...nope no filler...just the beginning of the much awaited conversation/ confrontation ...The build up is good..Payal did her work ...US didn't found his papers and concluded that Payal told the truth...which is the case...

Kanak : she never considered US her husband and never accepted him...so al this time she is staying with a guy, sharing an bed, keeping her izzat intact, bounding with his family...and still doesn't know and trust the guy...she can't think beyond the shop and his wrongdoings...

Meena and the truth...why do ppl consider other ppl weak...not being able to handle the truth...all our life's we fall and stand up to fight again...same goes or meena...who made so many mistakes and still is standing strong... she would have handled this situation more mature then how bhabo and vikram did...
