Hey there all the lovely people!!
Me is a bit late today. Just caught up on the episode. It's not exactly a filler, it's a precap/prologue to the drama that's to unfold and the wrath it would bring, the suffering, the price.
It is said that truth is above all, be it honor, right or wrong. But truth is never easy, saying is difficult, hiding it is difficult, the path ahead is difficult, truth is a double edged sword which cuts both ways, speaker and listener alike.
Some secrets, hidden truth become that wound which is never healed 'nasuur' in Hindi. That wound which no matter how long is bandaged, tended to, but at the slightest movement it tears apart. Same goes with meenakshi and Rathi family. Vikram and Bhabho hid the truth from meenakshi and everyone else, they bore insult and taunts day and night for what purpose, that one day meenakshi got so hyped up that she sent the kid packing away, a way to tend to her wound, a wound which was plastered over her forcefully. She was never given a chance to understand his existence, but today when she sent that little kid away she gets to know the truth. Truth that pawan is her grandchild the living piece of her beloved daughter. Truth which was hidden and everything else was broken.
Same goes for Uma, his conversation with God was insight into his character, how he perceives Kanak's hard work, dedication, her honesty regarding their relationship, after the last exam they would be united as one, for each other, completed by each other they would be the wick and the lamp -- he is all set for his life, to start a new chapter a new phase of his life with Kanak, they would be 'hum' ...
Payal briefs Uma about the sweet shop owned by Kanak and her family and how Vansh came disguised to meet Kanak and how they have cheated Uma. Uma checks into the cupboard frantically for the papers. He wants to see it himself before he comes to any conclusion... he has been wronged. He is angry about it. --- interesting thing is despite observing Uma this closely Kanak could only see how shallow his ideals were related to dharm, she didn't see his honesty, for a second didn't think of confiding, confronting him. She hid her truth and that's going to back fire on her, because truth be it Kanak's or Uma's it's their individual truth, they are ignorant about each other and that's going to hurt.
