Hammie's Impressions ~ep 20~28.7.17 aerodynamics of the heart..
It's about how a motion of air interacts against a solid object. Disruptive Doves are in flight. The bird's eyes view from above is only to swoop down hastily! flap! flail, fly around in response to some weary lovers call. Their brief is to launch an attack to disorient all present! create enough cacophony and soiling to divert attention from these earthlings. Air borne crash the ceremony! Break the hold of the fair gullible pigeon Chandni.. Chandni. who turns his feet to stone.. Advay looks across to her with eyes still free to love her with his fixed stares. The sudden bird invasion unnerves her. She drops the magnetic control! that gets snapped by Murli! one pass to his master! Advay's catch turns his feet from stone to flesh! They take him to Chandni..Rabba ve
Feeling the blues, a dip in his emotions. Amid the motions of the agitated birds Advay senses a magnetic pull towards Chandni. The atmosphere blends in shades of blue. Symbolises emotions ,strengths of truth, loyalty, a certain cleanliness and purity. Chandni wears a blue cold shoulder outfit. Advay before her stands in a sailing blue and white stripes suit. Rabba ve! For, Advay and Chandni all is lost in time except themselves. Surreal motion of doves hints of a traditional declaration. Where alover unfolds his mantle of protective rights over his beloved's head. Advay holds a red veil by his side. Amid the dream like rise and dip of a dove, With one swirl of his arm span, he throws up the red chunari that denotes his passion.. with a smile on his face he celebrates the law of gravity that descends the sheer chunari like a canopy of love on their heads! With a cheeky twinkle in his bold eyes he studies her eyes. Her face shows signs of such expectantancies of weird deeds from him! not even a trace of fear. Advay frees his head from the chunari ,and tenderly smoothes and frames it the small umbrella jhumkis around her face. A soft touch of small umbrella jhumkis by her hand, sends faint tinkles to their ears, and strums on the beats of their hearts! Advay though, still reads in her eyes.. a dissension. That this bond between them is his flight of fancy! unrealistic! far from practical. Chandni's eyes break away from his intense stare. Wish she can take wing! flee from this moment. Yet nothing changes with him. He still awaits for her yes. But her yes appears suspended in mid air! Still Advay spots a faint sparkle in her eyes, appears promising to him. Once Advay makes his point, to display a chunari on her head! as if by magic, both snap out of their one to one private moment. None spoke much, only action motions moves, and mood! Chandni withdraws bashfully while he relishes the myriad of expressions on her face. Blows a kiss at her impudent tendril of hair, that has the nerve to obscure his view. His eyes are greedy for the pure innocence of Chandni's face, he hungers forever.. such is the impact she on his him.. Rabba ve..
While the rest recover from sudden attack of the feathered army.. apart from the ravages of the ambush, the glaring sight of Chandni with a red chunari on her head appears in people's faces! After shock, comes the classic syndrome of calling unusual occurrences an ill omen. PP's mother equates the pigeons, to bad luck. Indrani digs her heels in and retorts.. doves turning up in key occasions ,their family sees as auspicious. Questions in order regards chunari on her head from Chandni. Advay knows she will not have the guts to give her mother a plausible explanation. Besides what is she meant to say? so Advay once more comes to her rescue and speaks the truth from his side.. Chandni wears on her head the mantle destined for her. There follows a pregnant pause.. Chandni waits for Advay, but PP intercedes once again, and shows his he's inclined to marry Chandni! Advay congratulates Chandni well what does she know she stands engaged now! sweets arein demand. Indrani much relieved the marriage is back on, performs aarti on Chandni and PP. Chandni is caught between what her mother's demand, and what Advay ,not so long ago desired from her. Still now, she silently only watches Advay walk off in his surly manner, giving her a short amusing salute. She wonders about the validity of the whole chunni scene he performed a while ago?. Does he lead her on? why? She never consents. He's the one who inundates her with his flights of fancy.. of marrying her! Chandni's not so sure again ,like always, as Advay continues to be an enigma for her. She thought it was his chunni he put on her head. did he deceive her? how easily he gives her to PP..
Some in order to get what they want from another often do mislead, especially in pretending in a romantic interest. PP seeks advice from Advay over a cup of coffee. It's hard to deduce whether PP is truthful in his bold confessions about the type of degenerate man that he is? or does he deliberately try to put Advay off Chandni ? Or is PP trying to figure out exactly what Advay feels for Chandni? Makes me wonder why is so keen to portray himself as a dirty womaniser, before Advay? In fact he even tells Advay he's marrying the small town Chandni only to have the one night stand! after which he'll be off! If there's any truth to PP's rubbish! then Advay's reaction, in smashing PP's phone ,and scaring him with a knife is justified. Advay is all too aware, how keen Chandni's family are to have PP as their son in law. So he serves the PP only a warning. Interesting to note that PP is not afraid of making his disclosure to Advay. With a wink he even tells Advay that he's sensed that he fancies Chandni and after he finishes with Chandni, he's welcome to have her! PP's views if true, show that he looks upon a woman as a mere article of lust..used then discarded. Advay's fury shows he is one to respect , protect a woman. The scene will serve as all the more reason , for Advay to save Chandni from the clutches of a morally infirm debauch!.. but Rabba ve.. will she let Advay?
The final scene between Chandni and Advay; contrasts with PP/Advay scene. Chandni in my opinion has a worms eye view.. she only sees part of what PP is really like.. she only understands what is visible. Whereas Advay is livid at the thought of what PP plans to do with Chandni. Chandni turns up, gives Advay a mouthful about showing up a simple man like PP. She'd rather that he didn't influence PP. Advay looks at her, in dismay, she holds the wrong end of the stick! Chandni still wear his chunari.. and he wonders, this silly girl hasn't got a clue what she's getting herself into by marrying this PP.. Chandni tells him she is running out of patience with him! enough is enough! Advay takes a step closer to her and asks tongue in cheek, then what in heaven's is she doing wearing his chunari? in a strop she tries to take it off.The stubborn veil, shifts and slides to one side of her head.. but is adamant to stays on her head! Rabba ve! Advay mumbles this is your predestined mantle..with Advay Singh Raizada embroidered and embellished on it! Hamlet53 30.7.17..
Dear readers..many pardons for an old post, was rushed off my feet.. with family affairs..The episode to me was an engaging one.. revolving around Advay andChandni.. brilliantly portrayed by Barun and Shivani.. PP's confession is a revelation.. to me Advay has a job set out for himself.. revenge on one side.. but throwing Chandni in the darkest recesses of hell with PP.. that is unacceptable to him.. as for Chandni, she'll make his job harder.. wish the girl would be quiet and listen more! and do both of them a favour... Rabba ve...have a relaxing Sunday... much love hammie
