Okay now. Simmer down all of you.

This post is NOT meant for you to take out your ire on each other.

Some of you like Barun/Sanaya and some like Barun/Shivani.

Good for you. ALL of you.

Some liked Season 1 and some didn't!

Good. No one should force someone to like or not like a show; like or not like an actor.

Reactions to a show are very subjective. Each viewer empathizes based on their own personal likes/dislikes and past experience. And everyone has their right to express it without being personally attacked. As I did. I don't have to like something simply because someone says I must. By that same token - YOU - my reader - do not have to like and/or agree with everything I said.

With all due respect - I think (as I said in my post) - the WORST thing about the show is not the story or the actors or the rehashing - its the Hair/Makeup/Wardrobe department. Its on a whole new level of tasteless affront to our senses.

And whoever said Season 1 wasn't a rehash of scenes from Geet? Ofcourse all Gul shows are! But the actors & Producer never ever claimed any of them to be a totally different show, with entirely new characters blah blah.

It's amusing to see people find themselves too old for hyper ventilation, but not too old for smirking, backing against the wall, and suggestive poses on the bed. It's pathetic to feel that the scene with Advay on the bed with his sandals was romantic. It seemed more like he was aiming his trajectory at her. Gul has some weird fantasies!!!!!

Finally, dissing a show you once loved to prove your love for the new one is a sign of frustration.

Nobody is dissing the show they once loved. It had all the faults which were mentioned here. But everyone including me chose to ignore them and love the show as whole instead. Heck even when many of my neutral friends stopped watching the show during the crappy Mrs India track, some of us die hard fans still supported it. And we are doing the same with this show. Problem arises when people behave like ipk season one was some path breaking show and the character of Khushi was some extra ordinary FL . The character had its faults. Like I mentioned people ignore it mostly and focus on good things. This show might be a crap to you. But we do have some positive points and that's why we are sticking with the show. But the claims that ipk was some masterpiece sounds funny.

And regarding the claims that characters and story are different,well isn't that true? I don't find any similarities between both seasons in those aspects? And if it is about the trip catch fall , that is used in all love stories. so what's wrong with the producer or actor's claim?

Ipk1 was a masterpiece? We really need a redefinition of that word! 😆
I skipped Anjali miscarriage, mrs india, & sheetal tracks. But those tracks came late in the show. Here cringeworthy tracks and episodes have started on day 1.

We all know love stories use similar scenes, so why make claims of being different! Are they themselves guilty of copying that they justify? And then if they are claiming it, I am saying the claims are wrong. How much is Adv different? Maybe he is meant to be different, but Barun is probably unable to show the difference due to his acting.

I think barun is doing total justice to his character. Advay is taciturn but different in the way that he is not cynical. And that is very well being brought out by him. He cherishes what he had with his parents,quite evident in the episode where he sets foot in the haveli the first time. that was poignant. He looks bored when he's supposed to. I cant imagine he is the same guy who played shravan, raj, arnav, and haider. So I have no complaints with regards to barun's acting. Shivani is a pleasant surprise. But yes the dress department and technical aspects need improvement and I hope the designer has done away with those baggy pants

Sometimes it is indeed better to let go and I completely agree with you. There no point wasting time on something that one doesn't like😊

Here You find IPKKND 3 cringeworthy FROM THE BEGINNING. But you don't skip any of it. Whyso?
But if you dont watch the show, how do you know that Adv isn't different? Based on what you can comment on Barun's acting?

Plus one. Shivani is a natural actress and I am in love with their height difference Barun has grown even better than the great actor he was during Arnav times and is now slaying Advay. Even people from the industry are loving him and admiring him 😃

Barun looks bored? 😳 Barun? Have you even watched the show? Advay is a character who means business. I L.O.V.E his bored expressions when there is no drama or new development like the way Chandni's threats today went through one ear and left from the other 😆 My friends and I always discuss how hot and smart he is when he makes those straight-face expressions when nothing challenging is happening It is not Barun but Advay who is bored and that too very rarely. And I love this.
