Author's note-hi everyone, here I am with new update but before that I want to tell u all something, today this story completed an year, yes I gave it's prologue on 24th July 2016 ,so it completed an year today. And I am very happy about it as it is my first story to get 250+ likes and very overwhelming response. Though the story is about to end very soon but I thought to share this happiness with u all. So did so, now enjoy the part.
PART 47
Raman rushed to hospital taking the unconscious ishita along. He took her inside and make her admit soon. Doctor took her inside and start checking her while Raman was pacing to and fro in tension praying of ishita and their baby's well being.
After about half an hour ,doctor came out, Raman rush to him to get some info about ishita.
Raman -doc, how's my wife.
Doc -she is OK but she has became numb to everything. Not reacting anything,i think something major happened with her .what happened with her.
Raman -actually she got to see her parent's dead body today which was buried since an year.
Doc -omg that's a major blow to her mental health. Physically she is OK but not mentally fine. She is sitting like a stone on her bed.
Raman got worried hearing this and asked-can I meet her.
Doc-ofcourse u can. He said and Raman went to ishita's room. He entered the room only to see her sitting on the bed hiding her face in between her legs.
Raman cried seeing her condition and walked to her. He sat next to her and softly called her name caressing her back but to his surprise she didn't reacted.
Raman shaked her little and she finally raise her face. Raman was shocked seeing her, her eyes were puffy and red while she was just looking at nowhere, like lost in her own grief. Raman softly caressed her face and said-kya hua jaan, why my baby is crying.
Ishita look at him and rested her head on his chest saying-amma appa, Raman. Saying so she started crying. Raman too hugged her tight and start consoling her but his eyes was also getting teary seeing her pain.
She cried for long and finally slept hugging him feeling exhausted. Raman make her sleep comfortably and went to doctor to talk about her discharge.
He went to doctor's cabin and asked-hello doctor, can I now take my wife home.
Doc -yes, u can take her home but u have to take utmost care of her. She is in trauma and is pregnant also. Toh aapko bahut ho jyada khayal rakhna hoga unka,aur else the situation may worsen.
Raman -no no, I will not let anything happen to her and our baby. I will take utmost care of ishita.
Doc -good, then I am prescribing u medicine for her. Whenever she feel little restlessness or anxiety, u can give it to her. But please don't make it a practice, coz she is pregnant, it will be better if she avoid taking too much of medicine. U r getting my point.
Raman nodded and took her prescription. Then he completed all the formalities and cleared all the bills.
Soon after completing everything, he went to ishita's room only to see her again sitting hiding her face in between her legs.
Raman went to her and tapped her again. She looked at him and hide in his chest without saying anything while tears were flowing continuously from her eyes.
Raman didn't said anything just kissed her forehead and said-everything will be fine, jaan. U r my good bachcha naa, stop crying.
Ishita-raman, they don't only killed my parent but unhe kitni bhayanak maut di and even after death their bodies were disrespected. They buried my amma appa and let their body stale, eaten by insects. Aisa nahi karna chahiye tha. They shouldn't be spared Raman. They should be hanged twice thrice.thet did very wrong with my parent. She said and start crying again.
Raman hugged her to his heart content and said-i will not leave them jaan. Unhe unke bure karmon ki saza jarur milegi. Bas tu stress naa le, just keep urself fine, ur raman will fight against all. He said and pecked her temple softly. Ishita closed her eyes and wrang her arms around Raman.
Raman picked ishita in his arms and took her out of the hospital while she rested her head on his chest.
Raman made her sit in the passenger's seat and settled himself on the wheel. He start the ignition and drove away.
On the other hand, Pathak and mihir filed a strong case against subbu and ragini. They were sure that their end is near and was cursing each other for the mess.
Ishra reached home and raman made her lay down. Ishita lay down comfortably and closed her eyes. Raman tried to talk but then think to give her sometime to come out of the trauma.
Slowly time start passing, Raman, mihir and Pathak worked hard and put the case in fast track and within a fortnight subbu and ragini got life imprisonment.
All got happy that they got punished but ishita's condition was worsening even after so much love and support from Raman. She stopped talking to anyone, Theh sleep very less, actually she was not able to sleep as whenever she sleeps she got up remembering the tarnished bodies of her parent. Raman was trying hard to bring her out of her pain but nothing was helping,she was getting drown in her pain. She has become very pale and weak. Raman was very worried for her and their baby too.
At last, Raman decided to take her to the doctor.
Doctor checked ishita thouroughly and said-see Mr bhalla, ur wife is physically fine, unhe kuch nahi hua hai, she is just little weak but fine. Lekin mentally, she is very disturbed. She is not able to forget the painful end of her parent. I think u should consult a psychiatrist.
Raman got angry hearing this and said angrily -r u out of ur mind, Aap ko samajh mein bhi aa raha hai, Aap keh kya rahe hai.
Doc-i am understanding Mr bhalla, aur bahut soch samajh kar keh raha hoon. Aap please apni wife ko psychiatrist ko dikhaiye.she needs medical help.
Raman -what do u mean, meri biwi pagal hai, joh main usse pagalon ke doctor ko dikhaun. Listen carefully, my wife is absolutely right and if u can't treat her, just tell me. I will find a new doctor for her. But usse psychiatrist ke paas nahi le jaunga.
Doc -relax Mr bhalla, I know ur wife is not mad but she is in acute depression aur woh apne gham se baahar hi nahi aana chahti. We have to do something or it will be hazardous for ur wife and for ur child too .He said making Raman worried.
Raman -please don't say this Doctor,ishita is so broken with her parent's demise agar hamare bachche ko kuch ho gaya toh she will be devastated. Please usse bacha lijiye.
Doc-thats why I am saying to take her to a psychiatrist, infact I know one. She is a great lady and a wonderful doctor .aise bahut cases handle kiye hai unhone. She is very experienced. U can visit her once, her name is Shagunfta Ali Khan.
Raman thought for a while and said-ok, give me her address, I will go to her. Main ishita ko liye kuch bhi kar sakta hoon. I just need her OK.
Doctor gave raman the address .raman took her appointment and went to meet Dr shagunfta Ali Khan.
They were waiting in the lounge, ishita was sitting keeping her head on Raman's chest while Raman just pecked her temple.
After fifteen minutes, they went in. Ishra sat on the chair and raman start narrating while ishita got up and start looking around the bright colours.
Raman tried to stop her but Dr told him to let her do the things her way.
Raman left her and start narrating the incident to the doc. She listened everything with utmost sincerity and then said-dont worry mr bhalla, ur wife will be fine.
Raman got happy hearing this and said-sachchi doc.
She nodded and went to ishita who was looking at the beautiful painting on the wall and was smiling. Her eyes were stopped on a particular portrait in which a small family was there, a man, woman and a small baby girl.
Doc caressed her hair and said-what u r looking at.
Ishita-amma, appa and me. We were so happy together. Main pari thi unki.they use to love me so much but they ruined everything, they killed my parent brutally. She said with moist eyes.
Dr-i know very bad happened with u. But see ishita it's not in ur hand,u couldn't do anything to save ur family. But now u can do something to save ur family. She said making ishita look at her.
Dr-let me explain, just think this man is not ur appa but ur husband Raman and this woman is u and this baby is the baby in ur womb. U can't save ur amma appa and ur family got ruined but u can save ur husband and ur baby, and ur family too. Do u realise how much pain ur husband and ur baby is going through. Ur baby is suffering ishita because of ur indifference. U wanna see how.
Ishita nodded and Dr took her to the other department,the gynec department and arranged for Ishita's sonography.
Ishita was laying on the bed while Raman was holding her hand, soon the sonography started and they could see a small dot in the centre.
Dr-can u see the black spot, she is ur baby. She said and Ishra eyes turned moist seeing their symbol of love. Raman took Ishita's hand in his and pecked the back of her palm while the doctor continued -Yes ur baby, she is craving for ur love and care ishita, tum dukhi hone mein Itni busy ho gayi ho ki iss nanhi si khushi ko bhool gayi ho. She needs it love and care, ishita, warna yeh murjha jayegi abd u will not able to forgive urself ever. I know u r sad, coz u lost ur parent but think about ur husband, he too lost his parent but still he is smiling and supporting u , don't u think u should be thankful to him for his love and try to love him back. I know it's hard aur sab kuch Ek din mein nahi ho jayega, but u should start trying beta. Zindagi kabhi asaan nahi hoti but Itni mushkil bhi nahi hoti and why u r worried when u have someone like raman to love and support. Try to forget ur pain ishita and enjoy this new happiness. For ur baby and ur husband, karogi naa. She asked forwarding her hand to which ishita was just looking.
Dr-if u say yes then I will give u a surprise, wanna know the surprise.
Ishita nodded in yes.
Dr-then promise me that u will try to be happy forgetting ur pain.
Ishita hold her hand promising that she will try.
Dr-now that's like a good girl. So the surprise is that u r pregnant with twins, a baby boy and a baby girl. Hope u r happy now.
Ishra got too happy hearing this and raman said-is this true doctor.
Doctor nodded and said-can u see those two small dots on the screen, they r ur kids. Do u want to hear their heartbeat.
Ishra nodded, doctor gave them the headphones and went out leaving Ishra alone to enjoy their new found happiness together while ishra were just too excited to know that they r going to have twins.
