Hey there! 😊 Sims here! 😛

IPKKND is my all time favourite show 😳 and I hardly visit this forum 😆 I know it's a little weird and doesn't make sense, but that's me 😆

So I finally decided to visit this forum and I read the title Master Chef and instantly I was hooked. I enjoy cooking and live to eat 😆, so the title was just perfect!
(However, not everything I cook is edible or yummy, hence I prefer to call my self an experimental cook 😆 )

Anyways, enough about me ...

I read chapter one and was hooked right away if not enough by the title.

The characters and their behaviors are so apt, I have to say even with a few changes here and there, you managed it so well ⭐️

Nani, Khushi and NK ... what do I say? 😲 I swear they seem to have more fun than I am during my summer break 😆
But seriously, I like the bond you've created with the 3 of them, it's just so beautiful, pure, and strong!

I see that Shyam is not an issue here 😆 I like that, in fact it's cute

Now coming to the biggest issue of this story, the one and only ... ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA 😆
He seriously is very thick skulled, actually I should say was, he's improving and redeeming himself, that's a good start.

But I have to say, you managed his character perfectly, his akdu-ness and arrogance in the begging to a more considerate husband and human being.

I like reading about Khushi's independence and self-respect 😳 and the fact that she makes him see things from her point of view as well

A jealous Arnav is quite funny, but a little intense and scary as well 😳

I am loving this story and please, please, please continue soon!!!!!!!!

Chapter 26 - Jealousy Brewing!

Arnav finished lunch and was checking messages sitting there before going to the car parking in the basement where signal is weak...

"Ankit, she seriously cooks the best Indian food... Amazing... Beauty with brains..." Ankit's friends commented...

"I told you so... Very rare that a 20 year old can cook like a pro, she has 6th sense for food... I am glad I could tap her talent and help... And plus learning under Alan would do her wonders... I am not sure how she got this opportunity to learn under Alan, but she is ready to carve her own name in food industry..." Ankit was proud of Khushi...

"Ankit, are you seriously interested in her? You seem to be talking a lot about her these days!" His another friend commented...

"Did you meet her after that night at Planet M?" Another friend asked him...

"No man, I just met her during the show. Then saw her here and same evening at Planet M... She is kind of a mystery to me... There was confusion about she being married and our host made fun of her during the show... She was so overwhelmed by the mocking that she could not even enjoy her win and ran away from there... I am not sure she is married or not, never went to such a personal level yet... Then she suddenly vanished that night from Planet M while her friends were still there... I don't know her too much but whatever I know, she is gem of a person, beautiful inside out..." Ankit carefully drafted his words and was trying to measure his own feelings for her...

Was he smitten by this beauty with brain, he absolutely was... No doubt in his mind... But was he really, deeply in love with her, maybe not yet. He knew unless he confirms she is married or not, he decided he would rather be friend...

"Maybe you should ask her on a date... Start with friendship, you both are already on great terms and then see where it goes... Trust us Ankit, she is a kind of girl to keep for life so don't waste time if you really like her..." His friends suggested...

"I don't know, maybe..." Ankit left his sentence at that...

Arnav's hands turned into tight fist to control his anger... "She is my wife, only mine damn it..." His heart screamed!

"Come on guys, let's finish lunch... I have a meeting with my dad at 2 pm and he hates late comers even if it is me..." Ankit changed the topic...

Arnav realized Ankit neither denied his affection towards Khushi nor answered whether he likes Khushi more than as a friend!

"Ankit seems totally smitten by you, Khushi... I heard you went with him inside at Planet M, did you mingle with his friends too? Do you know them all that well?" Arnav asked her casually as soon as she got in the car... He wanted to see her opinion about Ankit as well as understand why she went in with him since he was really surprised to hear that ... Also he was curious to know if Ankit was really her buddy and a very close friend...

If he always heard Ankit praising Khushi, he knew Khushi also admired Ankit!

"Not really Arnav... I reached the club on time and everyone else was late... Ankit happened to walk in and bumped into me... He felt standing alone outside was not safe for me and took me inside with him..." Khushi told him what exactly happened...

"By then Ria walked in, though I did say hello to his friends... But as I already told you yesterday, I tried shots first time only after seeing you in the club... Before that I only tried the mocktails... I am not the one who can bend rules under pressure... But after seeing you, I knew you are there to take care of me... Or else I would never do it... And never in future too... I was just angry and overreacted but I promise, I won't do it again..." Khushi promised him.

"Oh so you trust me that I will take care of you?" Arnav asked her surprised.

"Yes" Khushi nodded.

"How and why?" Arnav was curious...

"I don't know but my heart just felt you came there for me... And you proved me right... You did take care of me and too me home safe..." She replied genuinely...

"Khushi, you can go out with your friends and even with me as well... But make sure to do right things and not something in anger that you will regret later... Also it might send wrong signals to others so be a little careful... And if you were doing all these to make me jealous or for my attention then I must admit, you very well succeeded..." He winked at her...

"What?" She just blushed realizing what he meant...

"So you used your so called buddy wisely, I must say..." Arnav teased her...

"No... Ankit and I mean, we met only few times before this week that too on the sets of Master Chef. I am not sure if he even remembers my full name, maybe he does because of the fiasco I created that day but nothing more... And I just know him and his background because they brief it on the show every episode..." Khushi said politely clearing the air between them about Ankit...

"So what was that you said the other night? We are close friends and buddies and all that?" Arnav smirked again and asked her...

"If you want, I can be his buddy and a close friend now..." She snapped back... She was caught but she knew how to handle him these days...

"Not required Khushi, let's focus on us..." Arnav wasn't even in a mood to joke about it... She sure knew how to bring out his jealousy, he is surprised how strongly she affects him... How possessive he is becoming about her?

"Let me guess, are you jealous of Ankit?" Khushi asked him straight...

"No, not at all..." Arnav fumbled...

"Are you sure?" It was Khushi's turn to tease him...

"Khushi, do you realize Ankit and his father are in the same business line as I am? Making him my business rival! I wouldn't want to jeopardize my business rapport at any cost... And wouldn't want your name to be connected in a wrong way with him, you are just not any girl... You are my wife..." First time he showed authority to her as a husband...

"So I was just making sure my wife is safe and not mingling with unknown people..." Arnav replied confidently knowing where she was going...

"Arnav I did not realize the business rivalry aspect but I will keep it in mind now... I was just joking when I said you were jealous... Leave it please..." She joked about it but was scared now seeing his reaction.

"And look who is talking? You called all the models makeup kits... like seriously? And you were so angry, jealous wild kitten... You looked so adorable..." Arnav turned the table on her and smiled... He realized she got scared of him and he wanted to lighten the moment...

"Oh really? And that's why you came running to the club with La and NK? And you didn't even let me enjoy the night..." She counter questioned him...

"To tell you the truth, yes... You looked so gorgeous Khushi and I hated to see you enjoying with others... You remember first time you went with NK's gang for a movie, even that day I wanted to ask you to join me for Singhania's anniversary party!" He spilled an old secret...

"Really, then why didn't you ask?" Khushi was surprised he wanted to take her with him long before... Is that why he kept staring at her with the longing in his eyes, how did I miss it? She was confused...

"I really don't know why... Maybe I was a fool back then... But not anymore..." Arnav replied honestly.

Khushi did not want to push him more and make him feel guiltier than he already was... She turned away to the road side and smiled... So yesterday's confession was his true feelings, she was thoroughly excited and blushed so hard... What does she feel about him to blush always so much? How did she kiss him back and enjoy? She is still clueless but she felt it all nice! Being with him, in his arms, for her everything felt just right!

Why does even her heart beat so fast always when he comes close to her? Why her heart does crave for his approval or complements? She herself wondered many times...

Why does he affect me so much that I lose myself when he stares at me? And why does he stare at me all the time? Why am I thinking all the time about him? She did not know... All she realized so far was, he matters a lot to her these days... Everything about him matters the most, she felt... Her heart goes on an emotional roller coaster ride with his behavior and mostly she has no control over it!

She decided to decipher her feelings later as they reached home...

their relation seems to be improving
