Hey there all the lovely people!!
Me is a bit early today. Thought of using bharm mahurat waking up to some productive 😆
Unrealistic expectations, unfulfilled desires, unrequited infatuation together are a wonderful novel way of slow poisoning oneself. Letting go is never easy, but when the line between sanity and insanity, dreams and daydreams blurs it's time to get a reality check. One is often incapable of getting on track by themselves, it's at that difficult time, when friends family, people around one steps in to help cope with the loss and helping the person move on. It's a friends responsibility to show the right way, instead of pushing the person more and more into the mire of quick sand where she would have no existence of her own.
Uma eats the shakar rote, he stills, surprised, taken back, nostalgic while Kanak looks on with bated breath. For the first time Kanak is anticipating approval of her culinary skills from Uma... irony the first thing he tries makes him nostalgic about his mother.
Palomi came in taking the cue of US' silence as her opening, her chance to get some space in his vision. She explains the two ways of serving shakar rote, one where the sugar is on top, and other where sugar is served on the side. And Massi serves it on the side... Kanak looks shocked.. Palomi dreams that US tastes her shakar rote and praises her of having all the qualities of an adarsh wife. Dreams are often short lived, daydreams even shorter. Massi comes and stops Palomi from serving, she explains Uma's silence, his nostalgia and tastes Kanak's roll, and says she not only won the pareeksha but the soul of the house. Kanak is happy and does a little happy dance, she moves her hand towards Uma for a hi five but stops, Uma looked on clueless when Shiv comes, holds his hand and does the hi five. Kanak is happy and explains that hi five expresses happiness and it doesn't break dharm. Kanak hugs Massi and takes ashirwad and sits there enjoying her success. While Uma celebrates success for both of them. --- Uma cannot emote himself, especially his happiness, his satisfaction, his emotions. When he is angry his expressions harden up but when he is happy he just becomes silent.
Massi is one colorful character, actually pretty interesting she changes shades quicker than a chameleon... as of now she is pretty normal, motherly type one that gets annoyed when children makes mistakes and one who appreciates hard work. She is Kanak's best critic, for she acts out in the spirit of greater good.
Ps - Bhabho is taking babasa to Ladno to see a very famous ayurved doctor (no prize for guessing the doctor 😆 ) for treatment. Vansh and meena are with them.
