The difference between being a three time national award winner for acting and just going by BO popularity is, even when your movie sinks, people say at least you acted well. 😛

Plus bluntly she is a woman in a very hero centric industry and there is more premium put on the BO of an actor than an actress.

Masala movies have their place and so does BO, but when they talk of great actors it is those whhave acting that have been remembered. They speak of Meryl Streep, the real one in hush terms because of her three Oscars. I don't know half the actresses of old, but I know Nutan because of those film fares. When they write an obituary for an actor, it is the awards that are mentioned, not BO numbers. Acting awards stay longer in people's memories, long after they are gone. Who remembers BO numbers ? But 3 time National Award Winner will make her one of the greatest actresses ever. And that is what the acting industry is about anyways.
