Chapter 10 - Khushi @ Master Chef Show!

Arnav worked couple of days from home and ultimately went to office today...

"In all, it is so much fun to be with Khushi! She is a unique piece in herself with ultra-lively and bubbly personality. Again I am thinking about her, it seems I can never stop thinking about her? Three days and I have loads of work He warned himself...

After a week even Khushi is completely fine and started her routine...

"As Aman says, there is no doubt I like her from the first time I saw her and love the fact that home is more lively and fresh with her... May be no harm trying in this marriage leaving my prejudice behind after all Arnav thought to himself...

"Aman, get me Malhotra project file Arnav ordered Aman over the phone...

"ASR, here is Malhotra file... But I have something to show you on TV... Don't be mad at Khushi, she seems to be the victim here... And then suddenly out of nowhere Aman comes running to his office today talking about Khushi's TV appearance and what happened at the show... Khushi innocently became a prey of TV host asking her questions and a fool she made out of herself...

"ASR, don't blame her... Khushi looks to be innocent here... Aman tried to take side...

"But why I have not been informed about at home? How come no one ever told me about her participating in some TV show? Arnav's anger was already at peak... He was sure Nani and NK might be knowing everything, while he has been kept in dark...

Arnav immediately goes to his pent house in the AR office top floor... Switches on the TV and he knows that's the only sensational news going on and is repeatedly being telecasted mocking Khushi...

He switches on the TV to watch the entire episode to understand what exactly happened? It was a live show that was telecasted about 30 minutes ago and news spreading like a wild fire...

"Welcome to the Master Chef, as you all know every week a new contestant challenges some of our chefs and if they win against them gradually they move on to next round to fight with senior chefs and so on. Finally they would demonstrate their cooking skills against India's top Master Chef Mrs. Sarala Dalal The host announced.

"Today's challenger is Miss Khushi against our well known Chef Rakesh The host announced.

The show was going on...

"So Khushi, what inspired you to choose cooking as a profession? The host asked Khushi while she was busy making the appetizer...

"My father has a sweets shop and I always helped him in his shop plus observed him since childhood making so many varieties of authentic Indian sweets as well as pastries and cakes. We have famous sweets shop in Delhi called - The Authentic Lucknowi... Khushi replied excitedly.

"Then my mother is a great cook too. So I am always surrounded by great food. And the aroma and flavors always attracted me to the food Khushi accepted honestly...

During the last round of dessert, when Khushi was making coffee cake with fruit layer...

"So do you like coffee flavor? What's the motivation behind coffee cake? The host asked...

"No, I am myself not much of a coffee person but I do make great coffee and I know many flavors of coffee and use them well to compliment the dishes I serve... First my parents loved the coffee I made and now my friends and new family loves it too Khushi happily shared insights while serving the cake... She was so focused on her cake and presentation that she completely forgot she was revealing and talking about her personal life...

"Oh so you are married Khushi? You look so young like a teenager... You don't look like a married woman... Host was surprised with her revelation...

"No I am not a teenager. I am 20 years old Khushi replied honestly.

"So your husband must be loving your cooking... Was he surprised to see you cook so well at such a young age? The host asked. Anyone would ask looking at Khushi culinary skills. She received loads of compliments in first two rounds of appetizer and main course... Host also tasted the food she made and was amazed by her talent... She is indeed a great cook...

"I guess so... Khushi was lost thinking how Arnav rarely comments on the dishes she serves that too when NK pushes him... Khushi focused on her serving, always looking at the clock keeping track of time and at last placed plates in front of judges.

While the host of the show continued asking Khushi questions and looked at the paper in his hand...

"Aha, your full name is Khushi Kumari Gupta in original data but now Singh Raizada added to it... Don't tell us your husband is the billionaire Arnav Singh Raizada? Host joked laughingly...

"How did you know? Khushi asked back in the flow without realizing what she did...

"What? Are you wife of Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada? The host asked unable to believe his ears...

"What? Yeah Khushi just said one word lost and worried about how suddenly she ended up talking about Arnavji... Why it was so hard to believe or why it is so funny, she did not know... And she also started thinking about what might be Arnav's reaction knowing how reluctant he is about their relationship... She went numb thinking about him...

"And how did you come to this show today? The host himself had seen her coming out of an auto rikshaw and obviously he observed her because she is beautiful...

"I came by auto Khushi answered honestly.

"How do you plan to go back? Is Mr. ASR picking you up after the show with his chopper? The host asked sarcastically mocking her...

"Why would anyone come here to pick me? If I can come by myself, I can easily go back by myself... Khushi replied without realizing the consequences.

"And what are you wearing? Is it one of his creations, right? The host mocked her again and again and the judges could not help but kept laughing... Only Ankit Khanna felt bad for Khushi and asked the host to stop mocking her when she is focused on her cooking and presentation...

Everyone including judges were looking at her face to figure out if she was joking... When they realized she was serious, the news spread like wild fire... Not that anyone believed her, they all thought she misunderstood the question or the person of interest! But any news related to ASR was big enough to get immediate attention! And even if it is a misunderstanding, it would grab lot of attention for a day and free publicity for the channel and the show!

Obviously they all thought there was some confusion from Khushi's side on ASR... May be her husband name is also similar or she was too busy to focus on the name... And she also didn't confirm she was married, did she? She just said she is 20 years old... Nobody believed she could be wife of mighty ASR! No one knew about his marriage and plus his wife would be showing off just like him!

They finished the specific episode and Khushi was a clean winner! But whole attention was now diverted to Khushi claiming to be the great ASR's wife... After the show was over, the host and others started questing her about ASR and it made her really awkward...

"Khushi, are you married that too mighty Arnav Singh Raizada? Ankit asked her curiously...

"Huh, no... I am not. I mean yeah... What are you talking about? She fumbled big time. She did not know how to handle this? What if Arnavji gets mad at her for revealing their marriage, she better keep quiet... She was already worried about Arnav's reaction if he happens to watch the show or somehow finds it out... And she couldn't even enjoy her victory over Chef Rakesh... It was a big win for her putting her in top spot to compete against Mrs. Dalal...

"That's what I thought, Khushi... You were too focused in cooking to understand. I know now... Ankit assumed she is not married or anything and left happy... He has developed a soft corner for Khushi, he realized...

She left quickly without waiting any further in the studio and got into an auto quickly... After 5 minutes she realized she was being followed. She was scared and got down from auto way before her house. She went to the temple and mingled with the crowd... Once she confirmed she was able to avoid those media people, she went to her parent's house...

By then she was in news everywhere... Every channel flashed her face, clipping of her saying she is wife of Arnav Singh Raizada and making fool of herself by saying she came to the show in Auto Rikshaw... She went home and watched the entire episode with her parents and was hell scared to face him...

Arnav was hopping mad... She simply created media circus around him and her... Does this girl have any brains or not?

He avoided all the phone calls and media walking in front of AR Designs! Media just needed some news and this was huge, spicy and juicy story!

Aman managed to get ASR directly to the parking lot and the driver drove ASR in Aman's car... He managed to reach home just when Khushi had come home...

He blasted her and even ended up getting angry at his own Nani... (Refer to Chapter 1)
