sea salt.. salt for seasoning was mentioned by mausi.. at the beach, uk has many pebble and sandy beaches.. my hair gets salt in it.. plus the whole place smells of seaweeds too.. have been to many EU beaches too..😛.. Turkish/Greek the water is turquioise..

here i must say i find a poor character sketch from cvs part.US is shown boring and interesting at the same time.he was dancing n singing yesterday, so dinner outside isnt a unbelievable thing.uma shankar admi or paheli?is he a reserved man or carefree in attitude?i still have flashbacks of the malayam hero cum singer.
loved the eating out .. he meant eating out of their room with the family..

Coming back to the ''TRUTH''. u played extremely well with this strong word. Ur impression reminded me of some verses ( Tagore, I blv) : '' I try to close the door for the lies and illusions. But then I hear truth saying: If u keep the door closed then how will I enter?'' ughhh i suck at translations.but ur introduction lead me to think like this, as Uma opened his door for illusions and deceit, he will soon reach the truth. truth his ayurved books never taught him. His life of theory is going to b outside down.
thing is he is very knowledgeable.. but finds it hard to apply his learning..kanak has seen a lot of life experiences.. he has been in a protected environment..

Don't know much about the interpreting fables, was too busy in my younger days to dig deeper as it was, education was short and fast-paced just as now and that too without having google/search engines at hand to quickly look up anything without having to physically go to the library to find another book to look up explanations.
ahhh yes.. knowledge at the click of finger tips.. mind you Alex, me miss hours of pouring over reams of books in the library... those were the days.. the silence, and the privacy.. yes me too remembers Aesops fables...and Grimms fairy tales..then later into the world of Dickens ,Bronte and Wordsworth,not forgetting the Bard.. those days of being educated in a Covent..😛... regretfully what I was not taught enough, was about my own cultural ,historical, literary roots.. now I recognize my worth living away from my roots... pride in who Iam..
Your analysis and symbolisms of the story as far as I can interpret is intuitive for each episode. I don't read often but will try to catch the episodes and "Takes" as time permits.
