Asr can do whatever he want but the minute Khushi ignored him, he felt the jealousy.. Sheetal track was bad in ipk but there was very good romance in that period between Arshi .. and in this story Khushi has to take ignorance path to teach Arnav some lesson and to sheetal as well.. I hope this sheetal learn a lesson she will never forget

Chapter 5 - Anjali at AR & Someone's Worst Nightmare!

Morning became even more hectic at Raizada Mansion after Anjali decided to work at AR during morning hours from 9 am to 3 pm.

Arnav planned to drop Khushi to college and then go to office. So Anjali decided to commute with Akash. She hated to reach late even worse than Arnav. It is in their genes since their mom taught them to be disciplined in life and value time...

Sheetal not wanting to irk Anjali Di and be in her bad books, got up early at 6 am. It was crazy for her considering she has never done it before... She got ready herself and made sure Aarav is ready too.

She has never cooked much before, so it was a daunting task for her to cook. Especially for a kid, since she has no idea... She has either given him readymade food or asked him to eat paid lunch at school...

She tried making toasts and burned them... Somehow managed it in the second round. Then made grilled cheese sandwich for Aarav's lunch... She was exhausted already...

"What is this Sheetal? Where are fruits or vegetables? Is plane sandwich even allowed in school?" Mamiji asked Sheetal curiously when she sat for the breakfast... Mamiji was sure Sheetal lied about cooking for Aarav when she saw her struggling to make basic toast or sandwich in the kitchen... What else could she be lying, Mamiji's detective mind went on high alert...

"What? I don't know..." Sheetal said sheepishly...

"Mom, we are asked to bring roti and sabji or healthy food for lunch..." Aarav informed her...

"Let me make something quickly" She went back to kitchen again and cursing her fate... She barely managed to make two rotis and some veggie... By then Arnav, Khushi, Di and Akash all had left...

By the time Sheetal could get a taxi, drop Aarav to school and then go to office, she was late by almost 20 minutes.

"Sheetal, is this the time to come to office? Woman, you need to give importance to work... Rules are same for all employees. Your half day will be cut for today..." Anjali informed Sheetal as soon as she entered office... Sheetal was embarrassed like hell.

"Ok Di" Sheetal acknowledged politely.

"This is office Sheetal. You better call me Anjaliji at work just like others..." Sheetal realized why ASR and Akash joked about working under Anjali yesterday. She is a different person at work, nowhere close to mild and caring person at home...

"Get me the Angels project file in 15 minutes. ASR has assigned that project to me and you will work under me..." Anajali ordered Sheetal.

"Ok Anjaliji" Sheetal rushed to her desk...

"Wow, Angels project seems very interesting. Can you provide me the mile stones and progress reports and graphs providing insights on the project? Do you see any concerns in the project so far or forecast any hurdles, risks and mitigation plans? Provide me that too, I would like to review those today and see if any risks in terms of materials which we can aggressively tackle in advance..." Anjali ordered Sheetal to provide data facts...

Sheetal was shocked to hear Anjali fluently talking business language and demanding exact details on project and her structured way of working.

"We are little behind on the target. But we are in very initial phase of the project so it should be ok. We are yet to work on risks to provide any details" Sheetal replied coolly.

"Who the hell says it is ok to be delayed in any project at AR? When did this ever happen in AR Ms. Kapoor? And you do not have risks data sheet yet... Is this how you lead a project?" Anjali asked Sheetal sarcastically. Anjali hated Sheetal's casual attitude towards work that too at AR Designs. The company where her brothers work so hard day in and day out with their sweat and blood, this woman has guts to say it's ok to be late in deliverables? Unbelievable, she thought...

"Ms. Sheetal Kapoor, all project details and fact sheets in two hours. I would need exact reasons for the delays, additional factors delaying the project deliveries along with fast tracking tasks in next phase to overcome delay. Yes and I need that risk management plan as well. Now get going..." Anjali threw her out...

"Wow, this woman is something... How did she manage to get into Harvard? She has no clue how to manage her kid, the schedules at work or at home, her son's homework or food... She is equally clumsy and lethargic at work... How did she even survive ASR? Anjali was first time surprised when she observed Sheetal closely. She is not good or anywhere close to what she pretended...

"ASR, let's go out for Italian today, your favorite?" Sheetal barged in to Arnav's office and was disappointed to see Akash and Anjali already there with lunch from home...

"Sheetal, you carry on. Since Di has joined, we will follow our old tradition to eat lunch together and strategic level discussions" Akash informed Sheetal about their lunch meeting from now on since Arnav was still on call...

"What the hell? How will I spend quality time with ASR now? First Khushi and now Anjali... Oh god, these Raizada women are so annoying" Sheetal walked out grumpily.

"Chote, how did you manage to work with Sheetal? No offense, but she is so clumsy and unorganized... So not fit for AR Designs, only here because she is your friend... But this is not how we work at AR, do we?" Anjali couldn't help but pass direct opinion about Sheetal.

"Di, I felt so too. But since you and Khushi had asked, I gave her a job and I expected her to learn fast... I have been so busy with other 4 projects that I gave her that project because it's totally new. I am glad you joined. Fix her or fire her, not my problem. She is now your employee" ASR could care less.

"So much for your close friend Bhai?" Akash mocked Arnav...

"What friend? She was merely my friend in college... But with the Harvard tag, I thought she must be good at work but clearly did not manage to rise over Di's passing meter... She is good at designs but does not look like meant for any higher positions beyond a designer. Di, it's you call." Arnav clarified...

"Mere a friend?" She keeps talking about your friendship as if she was the only one you ever talked or mingled with in college days..." Anjali was surprised at Arnav's mere friend remark where as Sheetal portrayed a different picture at home in front of Raizada family...

"Oh come on Di, you both know my whole group. Did I ever mention Sheetal before or did you ever see her in our get together ever or in my college pics?" Arnav replied carelessly...

"Bhai, it's time for Singhania meeting. It's 5 minutes to 1 pm and they would be walking in any minute..." Akash reminded Arnav...

"What a wonderful lunch though. After like ages... Di, we really missed you. Thanks to Khushi for sending lunch from home... And we will continue old tradition of management level discussions whenever we three are in office at lunch, so no one else is allowed... It's so much fun..." Akash honestly appreciated Anjali being present at AR and side hugged her... She has her own aura and charming personality and skills to handle business with panache...

"Yeah, yesterday I casually mentioned Khushi how Nani used to send lunch and we used to have fun during lunch time... She is such a sweetheart, she immediately made sure to send lunch even though she herself is at college..." Anjali is equally fond of Khushi...

"Yeah, I missed this too but glad to be here now" Anjali was still lost about the contrast images of the friendship created by Arnav versus Sheetal...

"Sheetal, have you ever handled any projects before? Or have you been doing only designs?" Anjali asked Sheetal honestly concerned about her understanding on project management.

"I just focused on designs and not really worked on projects" Sheetal had to accept truth after she fell flat on her face and was unable to deliver intricate project details. She has no clue.

"I will have to assign Ramesh as the Project Lead from tomorrow onwards. Hand over all files to him today itself. You will be moved to work under Soniya to who is the lead designer for this project. Then we will see how you perform. Your salary also will be reduced according to your new role of a designer. Is that clear Sheetal?" Anjali asked her.

"Yes, Anjaliji" Sheetal replied fuming inside... She was literally demoted in one day after Anjali took over the project. Needless to say even her pay package might get reduced drastically! She is worse than Akash and ASR, no compromises when it comes to work ethics and Sheetal got firsthand experience...

"Sheetal, make sure to perform well as a designer now. All the best. AR is our company and we treat it with utmost respect and never take it lightly or underperform. We do not tolerate anything below than the best... I am giving you one more chance!" Anjali concluded and emailed changes to HR with cc to Sheetal...

Akash and Arnav were shocked was an understatement but agreed to Di immediately... And they remembered their rules and ethics, never mix business and personal relations! There is a reason why AR Designs has been to top for years... They were harsh critics of each other to bring out the best and thrived... And who can argue with Anjali's 6th sense in business? She is the boss and had bailed out her brothers many times in crisis during initial days! She would never take any biased decisions...

Arnav and Akash were proud of Anjali... She didn't look rusty at all in her business skills and in fact making decisions and changes in project team from day 1!

"Anjali, just wait and watch... Let me make ASR fall in love with me and make him accept Aarav as his son, you will be the first one out the door along with that Khushi!" Sheetal cursed Anjali like crazy in her mind...

"That idiot Aarav, I have to pick him from school. And if I go now, Anjali will fire me... Whose worst face did I see first thing today?" Sheetal was already in foul mood. She bit her tongue realizing she saw herself in the mirror first due to her eyes itching...

"Can you please enroll him for school bus pick up and drop off?" Sheetal was desperate.

"In your area, we pick up kids half an hour earlier. So he should be outside by 7.30 am. Plus you will have to pay for full month even though you are starting service 10 days later. Will it work?" The school bus pickup coordinator asked.

"Yes, that's not a problem. Please arrange for pickup and drop off from tomorrow onwards..." Sheetal took steps to fix some situation.

"Oh god, I will have to wake up even early and make sure Aarav sleeps early as well. It means less time with ASR at home too but I guess for now let me focus on saving my job... If no job, I will be thrown out of RM as well... Let me get serious here..." She again looked at Anjali's cabin while Ramesh doing some presentation and she started working hard for a change...
