Who is Palomi to them?

I watched her in another serial "Tumhari Paakhi" there again she played a supporting character but there she was evil vamp character here a complete transformation she's playing a goody goody and I love her eyes make up and all, she seems perfect for Uma Shankar.

However, Kanak's character the differences between their characters (Uma and Kanak) is what will make the serial interesting, nevertheless I can't help wondering how unfeeling of Uma's aunt and sister not to even mention Palomi's suitability to him before now.

Just wondering how Palomi came to be in that house, she doesn't seem to be related to them in anyway so how? Where are her people?

Don't know much about her but I believe it was Anjali, who mentioned that she is the friend of Uma's sister.

Someone said she is the house help. I'm not really sure who she is. Whoever, she might be, I don't like her at the moment. I don't know why.

That being said, I do feel bad for her.

I do feel bad for her too, but maybe because of her previous experience as a vamp she will turn bad later.

Then she has just come to visit her friend on the hope perhaps of getting Uma Shankar interested in her, didn't work, we'll see how she lives from there as still a goody goody or she's going to become evil.

Palomi is so beautiful. That being said I dislike how she appears to be constantly pitted against Kanak. It appears that everytime Kanak is defiant Palomi is present and the camera constantly pans to her, as though to compare the two.

She seems to be a glutton for punishment. When the marriage happened or was happening I recall her saying something to the effect of 'I will stay until I understand this marriage'. And thus, she contues to grace Uma's family with her presence.

She has the makings for a vamp. Though I hope things do not go down that road. I hope, rather than feeling the jilted lover or the rightful partner to Uma, she remembers that he had not felt attraction to anyone before Kanak and takes that at face value.

I believe Uma Shankar's sister introduced her as a friend who is like a family member.

Several of the family members are very well aware of the fact that she is in love with Uma Shankar.

I've only seen Madhura Naik (Palomi) play a vamp type character before...so I wouldn't be surprised if she turns evil later. On the surface she seems to be a very good character...perfect for Uma Shankar...but I have a feeling she'll show her true colors later. You know what they say..."hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."

As for someone mentioning that the camera always pans to her to show the comparison between Kanak and Palomi...it makes sense...because she "appears" to be the better match for Uma Shankar.

It is notable however, that although Palomi appears to be a better match...and is almost like a member of his family...Uma never took notice of her.

Jodis are made in heaven. Maybe Uma was waiting for a sign from God...and a whole truck load of signs pointed to Kanak not Palomi 😆

@bold: Ah yes! But with Uma's younger sister egging her on...and this being a daily soap...I'm sure she'll go down the vamp route. 🤔
