eeeks! if they go that route, i'm done. i can't suffer one more bout of assholeness. i don't know what kind of person enjoys his woman getting hurt from a stupid necklace and calls it his mark on her. I understand possessiveness but that marking and the bracelet thing is too creepy for my taste. no thanks.

In one of the famous shows I watched before, the hero squeezes the girl's hands whenever he gets angry and she gets bruised. That's supposed to be romantic! I mean the lead pair was cute and I enjoy their chemistry but this particular thing just makes me want to break the writer's head. Some people bruise easily and I am one of those. I sometimes don't even remember when and how I got hurt. Whenever I see a bruise on me I would playfully accuse my husband of doing it and tell him that I would file a domestic violence case on him. He doesn't do it ever, but I just put the blame on him every time, just to tease him. But this particular soap actually romanticized domestic violence and the saga continues show after show. one hero ties the girl up like cattle, another slaps the girl, one more hero locks the girl in a room... I mean who writes these scenes for a love story?! I don't understand what is romantic about hurting the woman you love!

I hear you Rekha ... I know I was like that surely is creepy... like he was ok with the mark and the hurt...
