I'm a new viewer of this show so maybe I'm missing something but wasn't Abeer also one of the 4 who raped Amala? Isn't Abeer resposible for putting Amala through this? Isn't Abeer Amala's culprit? Then why is he being shipped with Amala here? Is this just a fantasy of a few fans here or have the makers actually planned to show a 'luuuv story' between Amala and Abeer...BETWEEN A VICTIM AND A RAPIST??

Yeah yeah, Abeer is very remorseful, guilt stricken and what not, I get all of that and hey, that's good, but that does NOT in anyway absolve him of the crime he committed. He NEEDS to be punished along with his other friends, he NEEDS to be put behind bars and rot in jail for even daring to do this to a girl. Him and his friends GANG RAPED Amala!!!

So what am I missing here, please enlighten me? May be I didn't catch up with enough episodes but as far as I know, he was just as involved in the crime, wasn't he? Then why is there such excitement about these two getting together? Did I miss a crucial scene where they showed Abeer wasn't involved? Because otherwise, there's no justification for this ridiculous love story everyone is talking out. It just doesn't make sense.

Shouldn't we be focusing more on how these bloody culprits should be punished than a stupid and insensitive love story between a rape victim and her culprit? shouldn't we be focusing more on how to get this victim all the help in the world to cope with this and come out stronger? Shouldn't we be focusing more on reinforcing to Amala that this in no way was her fault, and reassuring her (along with making sure) that her culprits get caught and punished? When I found out that ITV is telecasting a show about a rape vicitm, I assumed that this is what they will be dealing with but no, we're still stuck in the olden times where a victim is married off (and even shipped!!) with her rapist. This is disgraceful!! So many young and impressionable kids watch TV these days, is this what the message this so called 'NAYI SOCH' channel wants to give out to these people?

I'm utterly shocked and cannot comprehend any of this. Am I the only one who finds this completely and utterly disgusting and outraging? 🥱

P.S.- My intention was not to offend anyone, I was just enraged after hearing about this new love story and wanted to vent my anger out.

first of all, i don't know if you're aware or not, that this show is a remake of a Turkish drama fatmagul but the way you're saying all this i assume you're not. Secondly yes abeer was a part of the crime but HE DIDN'T RAPE HER!. it isn't shown in the episodes, even he himself is anware of that. yep that doesn't mean his fault is less than other three but he''ll repent it later you'll get to see that. and their marriage will be a turning point of the show in fact Abeer is the one who'll eventually help amala get justice.

and regarding shipping them...

it is going to be a default ship of this serial so if u dont like it u can stop watching it no issues

also whether one ships a rapist, terrorist, murderer, serial killer etc etc in a FICTIONAL SERIAL where everything is possible, it depends upon the judgement of the viewer. that doesnt mean one is supporting tht sort of crime ! so please think before u say something

Lol, now I feel stupid 😆 I just watched the few episodes shown on TV (I'm in the UK so maybe a bit behind as well) and the b/w flashbacks they show and from that, all I could gather was that Abeer was involved too...didn't his friend remind him of what he did- like how it was Abeer who blocked the girl's path and all...so as a viewer who only had the episodes and no other 'spoilers' at her disposal, I believed what was shown to me Thank you for clearing it up.

Honestly, I still feel iffy about Abeer-Amala as a couple since even if he didn't participate, he was there and did nothing to stop it (I assume, again). But if you say that he's going to help her get justice then I'm glad and might one day warm up to the idea a bit 😕😳

Yes is it FANTASY!!... other hand be an highclass eyeopener of current world... How the woman's haven't been able to protect themselves the third rate men's have repent to took advantage and of it beside addicting the drugs to abuse woman's... ok let took away this we come to the point... Yes culprit in deed without any thing does..though the gigantic ... They others are does it was right now amala face... since when he met amala eventually fall her...even the further story will have been see the abeer could have help her though justice inroads against his friends...and he save her by to ashaming societies and peoples... Ok if u agree is there have social message then ok we will pretend... They others have no pervert to do this because of drugs... If u don't interest wont see!!!!!

@bold though he was a part of it, but he was not involved in the crime, He was drugged by his friends and later when this happened, they dragged him in, and tried to convince him that even he was involved with them, though he kept saying every time that he couldn't recall anything. they took an advantage of this. Abeer/ Kerim actually marries Amala/Fatmagul to save her.

The only mistake Abeer did was seeing Amla and diverting all his friends attention to her; all were drunk and drugged; he not only spotted her but also diverted his friends attention to her; he was the first person to stop her and block her way; later his friends joined him; but I think he was already drunk and high in drug so he playfully did that but I'm sure he never ever imagine his friends would do such a hideous crime with the girl he loved; coz he already told his friends few mins before that he likes someone and it was the same girl!!

the story :-

Fatmagul Sucu Ne is a story based on the novel. The series revolves around Fatmagul and Kerim who are the lead characters. Fatmagul who is a small town girl is raped one night by 3 guys under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Kerim who is friends with Erdogan, Selim and Vural is also present during this incident. Kerim has not taken any part in this but is feeling remorse as he was present during the incident. Later on, the lawyer uncle and parents of rich guys pressurize Fatmagul to marry Kerim by bribing her sister in law. Fatmagul has a fiance Mustafa who is after revenge on Fatmagul and Kerim. This makes the couple leave their hometown and come to Istanbul. The story revolves further when Kerim falls in love with Fatmagul and supports her in the fight against her rapists.

Right now it's like a suspense for viewers that is Abeer also a part of the crime or not; the way it's shown; viewers who haven't watched fatmagul might consider him part of the crime as the scene ended in cliffhanger; later it would be revealed he didn't do anything but was just a witness to the crime and couldn't stop it as he was completely drunk
